Sir, CGHS is Central Government Health Scheme. My father was serious and we went to hospitals to get him admitted. None of the hospitals were taking him without giving a hefty 2-3 lakhs cash first, eventually we lost him. I would urge all central government employees to buy private health insurance because CGHS is of no use. (CGHS rates are so low that it is not viable for hospitals to get the patients admitted - government should make central government hospitals like railway hospitals)
