My 2 favourite sports are rugby and climbing. The beauty of both is that no one can say you're weak or a coward when you step up. So every time you get on the wall, no matter how your day is going, remind yourself that it took strength and courage to get on that wall.
Chris has impressive strength, the way he completed some of the boulder problems was amazing. Wholesome moment when he overcame his fear to complete the long route !
I love how supportive Magnus is with new climbers! It’s so heartwarming. Also, watching Chris climb a 5.5 actually gave me sweaty palms. I was ready feeling his nerves. The feeling of it was so well conveyed. Magnus, you just keep crushing it on content!
I smiled throughout this entire video. The energy between you two is so wonderful and I love how excited Chris was to climb. Proud of him for making it to the top! Great coaching, too. 😊
i felt awkward : "i dont know you , but i like you" vibes like when i got 2 of my friends together from different places and we had a fun time , but like it felt weird colliding people from different worlds together
its so crazy to see how Chris powers through most of these boulders! Massive respect to him to take on rock climbing as somebody that is afraid of heights you can tell how ambitious he is!
After watching like 10 Heria videos and seeing how confident he is in his world, it's helpful to see that he's also human. He is super afraid of heights!
I think this was a very cool episode because of how humanizing it is. We don’t get to hear that people like Magnus get star struck and we don’t hear that people like Chris are afraid of anything. Very real video and amazing to see Chris make it to the top.
Seeing someone who is normally SO composed on his own channel, his was amazing. From both Magnus and Chris, awesome collab! Chris taught we so much getting my first muscle up and seeing him struggle at something is so humanizing. Love this
You two should definitely have some videos together regularly. I've never seen two people with such a good energy between them. I was smiling during the whole video non stop.
I really appreciated Chris’ openness and showing how that fear can just lock you up regardless how you interact with the world on a daily basis. I typically see Chris as fearless based on all the things he normally does in his videos, and I’ve felt that fear and lockup during climbing when I was younger so it was really inspiring to see him push through and improve. Seeing him conquer that wall and Magnus’ support and encouragement throughout where he would push Chris up to a point, and then make sure to ease off and let him progress a little more the next time and a little more the time after that. Truly a pleasure to watch both of these guys work together.
I've got huge emotional feeling listening to their conversations. Both dudes are really awesome, they know what they are doing and what values that they uphold. Peace and respect man.
The way you talked him up that wall was amazing. Not too pushy, just enough of a boost letting him know you were there for him, and he had an out, gave him the confidence to top that wall. What a coach!
Chris saying "You got me right?" really shows how scared he was, and yet he did it. So much respect to him. I've been watching him since I started working out almost 10 years ago. Such an amazing collab.
Bro this video brought tears to my eyes, it was so emotional for me that Chris was very nervous and vulnerable but pushed himself through that huge wall, this was absolutely amazing and inspiring! I’m so proud of him, he looks so proud of himself too, his eyes are sparkling with happiness
Such a heart-warming video of two great people supporting each other out. Chris did his best to face his fears the same way Magnus did his best to help Chris through it. Definitely looking forward to more of their collabs. 17:41 ❤️
From Magnus fawning over Chris to Chris slowly working on his fear of heights and being stoked about his progress, this was such a wholesome video. "You got me right?" "I got you." That was sweetest thing. We all need a Magnus in our lives and we all gotta endeavour to be someone's belayer too. Such cool dudes. Love how they're just making future plans together the whole time like an old YT collab-couple.
Awesome. Fear of heights is no joke you just freeze. It’s awesome to see Magnus coaching him through it and to see Chris pushing through and making it to the top! Much respect to both of these legends! 💪🏽
I don’t think people understand that a fear of heights gives you a phisical reaction unlike any other type of fear . Your body feels like it’s falling anytime your not held on to something and the floor feels like it’s wobbling . It sucks
@@TheAnimefool yeah, you literally feel like you are falling if there's nothing to hold or prop yourself on near you, the most fucked thing is though, you realize you just feel that and it's not a real threat but you still get scared you'll fall exactly because you know it and you don't let your guard down at all, lmao. funnily enough i don't know if it is common with people that have this fear but sometimes i just chill with no issues near the edge of a rooftop talking or smoking, the fear only comes in once you become concious of where you are and think about it for more than 2 seconds.
I love the fact that both of these guys, who are so talented in their respective fields, are willing to put themselves in situations where they're not experienced and may look like a noob. Having the humility to learn from someone else and try new things says a lot.
About a month ago, my friend convinced me to climb a wall about the same height as the one Chris climbed, and I had the same reaction. Rock climbers nearby starting cheering on for me and made me feel comfortable which settled my anxiety. The community is awesome and made me feel as though fear was not invincible. Seeing Chris complete it made me smile because he fought through anxiety and pushed beyond doubt. Incredible video Magnus and Chris! You two make a great duo!
That might've been my favorite Magnus video yet! The way Chris made it to the top, the positivity, everyone gasping when Magnus jump off the wall. Such an awesome video!

I started climbing 8 months ago, and also have a terrible fear of heights and seeing Chris work at over coming his fear is so inspirational! Climbing has really helped me over come that fear, and this video has really pumped me up for my next climb tomorrow. Awesome work!
At my worksite some guy had to climb a really high ladder to go to the roof for contruction. He froze halfway through. He had to be cut out of the ladder and be lifted to the floor to finally unfreeze.
You can really tell Magnus has been working on his coaching skills and you can see it's paying off here. Great work and keep it up, you're very inspiring!
I appreciate how when he got to the more challenging wall he didn’t just leave him hanging. He was vocal, giving him tips and showing genuine concern for him. That’s some energy
Been watching both channels for a long time and would never have anticipated this level of wholesome chemistry between the two of you. The level of admiration you have for each other is so visible and it made this especially wonderful to watch.
It was so heartwarming and adorable to see Chris being all emotional about his achievement and gratitude towards Magnus, and Magnus struggling to reciprocate Chris's "I love you bro"s in true shy Norwegian fashion. All in all an amazing video. Love these guys

Loved this, so cool to the support for and from Chris. Energy from you guys was 👌. Talk about an emotional moment seeing him pushing past his fears. Awesome!
"I got you." One of the most powerful phrases. I'll never forget my climbing instructor who put his hand on my back as I went down to repel for the first time. Did that make me safer at all? No. In fact, it was more dangerous for both of us for him to lean over like that. But I felt safer. And because of that, I didn't give up and found a hobby I absolutely love.
This is such a cute video 🥰 the love you guys have for eachother! And also as a person who climbs with fear of hights it's so important to just focus on the route. Just look for the next hand and push through!

The fact Chris has this issue like me was exactly what I need to keep pushing! Perfect timing guys :3
It is strange that people think other people don't share their issues, when most issues are shared by most people.
I have only recently started watching Chris and he seems like such a genuine guy. Really cool to see you guys collaborating
I smiled throughout this entire video. The energy between you two is so wonderful and I love how excited Chris was to climb. Proud of him for making it to the top! Great coaching, too. 😊
The vibes throughout the video is off the charts. It is so wholesome to see them gel up so quick. Eagerly waiting for them to meet again!
he shook his hand & said I love u a million times you guys are so vulnerable you fall for anything
i felt awkward : "i dont know you , but i like you" vibes like when i got 2 of my friends together from different places and we had a fun time , but like it felt weird colliding people from different worlds together
This is so wholesome. So much mutual respect and empathy. I just love both of them and their content. Perfect collab!!
its so crazy to see how Chris powers through most of these boulders!
So real!! My top favorite videos from this channel alone💯
I was smiling during the whole video non stop.
same im still waiting on a new vid!!!!!
@@variblezedge i was wondering the same too, did they have another colab?
@@robertgabrielzaharie5405they’ve only got two vids together that’s it
yep exactly the same for me! so good!!!
yesss
Such an amazing collab.
can hear him say "Fuck" under his breath in a shakey voice right before too, mad props for doing it
Bro this video brought tears to my eyes, it was so emotional for me that Chris was very nervous and vulnerable but pushed himself through that huge wall, this was absolutely amazing and inspiring! I’m so proud of him, he looks so proud of himself too, his eyes are sparkling with happiness
No way!!! Sick collab, it’s awesome to see you working with someone you’ve been following forever! Love the intro.
Such a heart-warming video of two great people supporting each other out. Chris did his best to face his fears the same way Magnus did his best to help Chris through it. Definitely looking forward to more of their collabs. 17:41 ❤️
It reminds me of the free solo Magnus did with Alex
@@pavelkalugin4537 mhm…it’s like passing on kindness and encouragement
From Magnus fawning over Chris to Chris slowly working on his fear of heights and being stoked about his progress, this was such a wholesome video.
"You got me right?"
"I got you."
That was sweetest thing. We all need a Magnus in our lives and we all gotta endeavour to be someone's belayer too. Such cool dudes.
Love how they're just making future plans together the whole time like an old YT collab-couple.
Chris is a massive W, man is positive, friendly, and is genuinely interested in rock climbing 😊
Awesome. Fear of heights is no joke you just freeze. It’s awesome to see Magnus coaching him through it and to see Chris pushing through and making it to the top! Much respect to both of these legends! 💪🏽
Man even dreaming of that shit is enough to wake me up
I don’t think people understand that a fear of heights gives you a phisical reaction unlike any other type of fear . Your body feels like it’s falling anytime your not held on to something and the floor feels like it’s wobbling . It sucks
@Joseph Mason for reall.. hell I even get that feeling when I jump off a height in a video game 😂😂
@@TheAnimefoolThat must be weird
I love how much the both respect and look up to each other. This video was so wholesome
Big props to Chris to actually go through with this and conquering his fear, and you were such an awesome coach Magnus!
That might've been my favorite Magnus video yet! The way Chris made it to the top, the positivity, everyone gasping when Magnus jump off the wall. Such an awesome video!
I loved watching Chris take advantage of Magnus' expertise. He sincerely wanted to learn how to improve and wasn't afraid to ask questions. Great guy
Wow I just gained even more respect for Chris here. I love how he lets himself be vulnerable and how appreciative he is of Magnus. Facing your fears like this isn't easy.
I started climbing 8 months ago, and also have a terrible fear of heights and seeing Chris work at over coming his fear is so inspirational! Climbing has really helped me over come that fear, and this video has really pumped me up for my next climb tomorrow. Awesome work!
Sameeee
I have a question. When I use the harness it really hurts my groin area when I come down , is this normal?
@@Rosie333Sophia could be because your harness isnt tight enough, or too tight, either one of them, or you could just have an uncomfortable harness
Fear of heights is no joke. The way the tension builds up up to a point you just freeze and lose the ability to do the slightest move is surreal.
At my worksite some guy had to climb a really high ladder to go to the roof for contruction. He froze halfway through. He had to be cut out of the ladder and be lifted to the floor to finally unfreeze.
Impressive climbing skills from Chris Heria, I guess calisthenics pays off.
You can really tell Magnus has been working on his coaching skills and you can see it's paying off here. Great work and keep it up, you're very inspiring!
Felt so weird yet good to see someone like Chris be so vulnerable and show his fear of heights. Makes him look more human.
I appreciate how when he got to the more challenging wall he didn’t just leave him hanging. He was vocal, giving him tips and showing genuine concern for him. That’s some energy
Magnus, the politest ever “I am not letting you off this wall without touching the top!” Loved how chillier his encouragement was.
The energy in this video is AWESOME. Definitely would love to see more collabs with you two
Dude, he smashed that high wall at the end, impressive stuff … great collabs, would love to see more, especially a progression video after Chris has had a chance to do more climbingn
Dude that was sick to see Chris push through his fear and have Magnus be such a motivator for him when Chris was that for Magnus. Extremely rewarding all around, props to Chris for the accomplishment!
Magnus is such a good teacher. When I went climbing as a child we were expected to go to the top first attempt, or just not bother. I was too afraid so I never went back - I could have done with some understanding coaching
I love hearing the energy coming from Magnus in this video. You can really tell that he's really happy to meet Chris and climb with him. Great job from Chris too! Really proud of his commitment to that route!
Wow, that was kind of mega emotional, Chris is such a strong dude and to see him vulnerable was hard, but you were so supportive. You guys were great :)
I guess it was all that gayness going on with the gay flag right besides the US one.
@@Eventual-Visitor lmao
God damn, that was so wholesome. Cris is an amazing guy, it was so cool seeing him conquer his fear and Magnus being so supportive and helpful! You have great chemistry together. One of the best collabs I have seen :) I hope you do more stuff together.
One of my favorite videos on your channel Magnus. Do more with Chris!!
As a former climber who's transitioned to calisthenics because of Chris it so awesome for me to see him giving climbing a crack! And being so open about his fear of heights! Honestly it's good to know he's marginally more like a regular human! Great collaboration guys!

@OfficialMagnusMidtboank you very much Magnus, but I don't have telegram. I'll try anyway...You are a great Guy, super humble and Interesting To watch. Keep it up! :-)
@@baron5688 a combination of injuries and general life. honestly though after getting fit(ter) with Chris' help I've started thinking about getting back into some climbing..
Wow what a great collab. I was crying and smiling at the same time, the way you were coaching and Chris daring to make those babystep all the way to the top. That is what life is all about. I have the feeling growing up with the both of you in the many year I am following both of you. So beautiful to see how you lift each other up and cant wait to see all the other videos. Keep growing and spreading love guys.
crying?
@@89jmills don't be a wet blanket, let people have their feelings
@@user-wh2kv6qq3g nah this is a little weird
@@89jmills Yes you know the feeling that someone achieves something so out of their comfort zone? Crying out of happiness, proud, joy full all those cryings. English is not my first language so I am trying to reflect my feelings and empathy. Is that weird?
I have a ton of respect for people with fear of heights doing rock climbing. Seeing other people struggle with that makes me realize how much of an advantage I've had in climbing (because I didn't have any fear of heights even at the very beginning). Subscribed to Chris, great video!
Man, you could see his fear, so amazing he pushed through it to get to the top. Really goes to show anyone can climb if you put your mind to it.
Wow this was the collab we all waited for but never hoped to get.
I was literally close to tears at the end seeing how they vibed togheter and how chris overcome his fear, totally human and relatable. Insane
Totally agree!
Yo we got the same logo😂
@@sky4734 Haha Lol stealed it from google many years ago haha
bro you can see the appreciation in chris's face, that's just amazing for real
I've never clicked on a video so fast. This is an epic collab, nice one Magnus!
Edit after finishing the video: this was such a wholesome video, two genuinely lovely guys bromancing.
Just tried climbing the other day, and I felt exactly the same as Chris. This gives me a lot of hope for my future and lets me know it's okay to be vulnerable and take my journey at my own pace. I really needed this video. Thank you both
No joke that got me so emotional. We all can relate to how crippling fear can be, but just watching this made me feel motivated that I need to push past my personal “boulder” in life.
Chris has an incredible energy that is extremely gravitating. Love this collab need more for sure
This is such a powerful video. The fact that Magnus told Chris that he inspired him to start his own UA-cam channel, and then going on after to help Chris conquer his fear of heights. Love it!
Loved this, so cool to the support for and from Chris. Energy from you guys was 👌.
Talk about an emotional moment seeing him pushing past his fears. Awesome!
It was amazing to watch Chris overcome fears in real time. I love this collab. I’m inspired by this video.
magnus keep up these collabs i love seeing the new types of content always 💪 much love bro.
Chris Heria is one of my heroes and its super inspiring to see him humble and modest trying new things! Great video!
I can't handle the modesty, the humility, the honesty! What a beautiful colab 😊
It's so great to see them appreciate each other
Wow... Chris, the man who got me into physical fitness and Magnus, the man who got me into climbing. Surreal Collab and I loved every bit of it ❤
This was so wholesome! I've never seen Chris before, but you can just tell he's such a great guy.
What a collab, recently found your channel and I have been impressed by each and every guest I've seen.
Chris seems so wholesome and humble! I love that Magnus helped him overcome his fear of heights. Can't wait for their other collabs. 💪💪
This is such a cute video 🥰 the love you guys have for eachother!
And also as a person who climbs with fear of hights it's so important to just focus on the route. Just look for the next hand and push through!
Really interesting to watch him adapting to the movements of climbing in real time; always cool to see crossovers like this, and to know how fun they can be. Always move to the periphery of your comfort in training, and you will be rewarded. Truly
Magnus thank you so much for continuing to upload. Every time you do I stop everything to watch your video and it brings me so much joy every single time. I really love your style and I want you to know that I and many others feel super grateful to have you on this platform. I started climbing because of you and I fell in love with the sport like never with anything else before. So thank you and I hope you are doing well :) Love from Czechia and I recommend you to come here again and enjoy our amazing rock. Also, I hope you will do some outdoor videos again. It's always fun to watch.
I LOVE seeing people overcome fear. That was me when I first climbed and now i don’t even think about height. Amazing stuff Magnus!
These two are such a good duo, just the vibe and the energy they give off, I hope to see them collab more!
Likewise!
I hope you guys are keeping the collab thing going. We would love to see more of you two!!
This is one of the best episodes, both actual legends. Awesome to see him conquer some of his fear of heights as well.
These are the kind of videos that bring so much hope, aspiration and just pure euphoria.. There is nothing more gratifying than helping others to be able to conquer their fears through coaching and teaching.. and also courage for the one who is conquering his fears.. Much love and respect to both Magnus and Chris
Magnus you are such a great teacher and motivator you have no idea! This was so wholesome to watch you help Chris totally crush his fears. You knew exactly how to calm his nerves and push him in all the right ways to make him comfortable. This was inspiring to watch! Ever since I came across your channel, I get SO excited when I see a new upload from you and I watch immediately! Idk if it's just me, but every time I watch your video(s), afterwards I feel so confident and happy and strong, like I can conquer anything 💪 You're an amazing soul Magnus and although I've never seen or heard of Chris before, he seems like such a great soul too! Awesome Collab and I can't wait for your next video! Much love from the US 💞💞
The way Chris is so open, the way magnus coached him. I hope everyone else felt that good feeling after watching this.
It's so great to see Chris slowly overcoming his fear of heights!
You can hear it in his voice when he is ready to come back down, but Magnus steps up and reminds him "it's all in the head"!
Definitely waiting for part 2-3-4-5-etc!!
Much love bros!!!
