Want to see a Pretty boat? Come join me on this tour of "C'REA's" a 2009 Sea Ray 280 Sun Dancer. Originally from Washington state, she has spent most of her life in a freshwater lake and has recently move to sunny So.Cal. She's well powered by a Mercruiser 496 MAG with less than 250 hours on the engine. The cockpit can be fully enclosed with the included Camper Canvass and features lots of seating, a teak table, wet bar and a "ladies like it" aft facing port-side chaise seating. At the helm we have the classic Sea Ray wood & leather tilt steering, touch pad electronics, a Raymarine C80 system (Radar, GPS, Chart-plotter) and an electronic throttle/shifter. For comfort, the captains bucket has a thigh rise bolster: the seat swivels and is also height adjustable. Below, the cabin floor features a teak & holly floor with carpet & runners for protection. To port there is a booth dinette with a solid cherry wood table which can convert to a small sleeper and gunwale cabinet storage. Forward in the "V" there is another solid table and this area converts to a well padded berth for 2 with a privacy curtain, hanging lockers and swing out tv with a DVD Player. To starboard is a functioning galley complete with sink, stove, refrigerator and microwave. Aft, the head is fully lined to make clean up easy and the Vac-U-Flush system keeps the boat fresh and odor free. Let's not forget the mid-cabin which is full beam and double wide so 2 can sleep comfortably. Here there is a large sliding window for light and air, a mirrored locker for storage and a curtain for privacy.
This is a very clean 280 Sun Dancer, well appointed with the Camper Canvass, teak flooring, padded vinyl interior, Cherry wood interior, electronics and low hour Mercruiser 496 MAG motor. Some one is going to get a great Sea Ray at a bargain price!

I love those medium small cruiser, I was considering saving money to buy one and do weekend 100 mile runs... until I found the mpg they give you. 70 or 80 liter per hour 500 miles = +-1200 liters , end of dream.
Yeah, I could afford one of these partially depreciated models, but the fuel costs would be tough. Fortunately, I’m looking for one to keep on the Tennessee River and really wouldn’t be venturing far from home base. An hour or so of cruising, then duck into a cove and enjoy. If you’re looking to cover distance in these though, you’ll be paying at the pump.

hello how much people you would say can hold seated comfortable in the cockpit
As this vessel is "Yacht Rated" there is no capacity plate. Coast Guard rules need a seat and a life jacket are required for each person. I would guesstimate cockpit seating for 8.

one thing i noticed in the engine compartment right off is the location of the fire extinguisher, stupid location, if the engine catches fire, who wants to reach across the fire to retrieve it!
other than the fire extinguisher it's a very nice boat, would love to own it!
That's an automatic system that is heat sensitive and is temperature activated. When it's activated it fills the engine compartment with a foam that removes all the oxygen from the compartment and snuffs out the fire.You don't even open the hatch! There are also portable extinguishers throughout the vessel.
