Very true, I have a 7 month old daughter and live with my mother inlaw and she has 2 cats. The big orange one is only aroud when she's or when he's hungry. His brother is kinda territorial and can be snappy at times (happened with me once) but he never ever touches our daughter. At the very least, if he's annoyed he just walkd away and goes upstairs. The worst he did, was cussing her out for pulling his tail😅
I’ve always known this to be true, but for some reason my mom’s cat Turbo (the gray and white cat in my short) did not f with my little brother lol whenever they were alone, you would hear a scream, Turbo running off somewhere, and you would find my brother with a scratch or bite. At first I thought my brother was doing something to Turbo and he was retaliating, because he never did that to our sister, but then I witnessed him straight up pounce on my brother for no reason 😭😂 I still think bro did something to him and he held a grudge. Turbo and my sis are bffs while Turbo and my bro barely look at each other. It’s the funniest thing ever.
Nah, this is dangerous. It takes a while for a cat to get used to a new person. Bringing the cat to the child, he could've gotten mad and taken a swipe. Let the cat go to the baby on its own term.
I love how Chase acknowledges mom first before smelling her baby. He knew that was mama and he was making sure it was okay to smell the baby. How cute 🥺🥺🥺🥺

I had a norwegian forest cat just like that, ppl would say he was like a human & got attached to him easily whether it was my friends or my moms bf's... his name was Julius & always comforted me when I was crying as a little girl...My 1st clear memory of a cat was Julius when I was 3-6 months old & I even remember thinking I was scared of crawling in the hall to say hi to him & stroke his fur alone...But I decided to crawl all the way & stretched my hand out & he reached out to meet mine & I discovered he wasn't dangerous at all & he was like a best friend & a father figure (as my dad died at 5yo) until he got cancer, we decided to amputate his leg & it went well , until it spread & we had to say goodbye 2 weeks later. R.I.P Julius♡ R.I.P Daddy♡ I'm no believer of God, so I say Daddy needed one of his angels & bc it was too early for me to go 😔, ❤️ Always ~
