You're the second video that used the Key words: "30% of loads required air ride". Helpful in my decision this week. With the competition for loads this must be seriously considered.
Thank you
walter
I mean I don’t know how loads look over the summer but as for the fall and winter time, I saw a good bit of air ride loads.
Thanks for the advice! I never really thought about getting air ride on a trailer. I'm looking at a pj 44' trailer with mega ramps. Now I will probably get the air ride option installed when I get it. My wife and I are excited, we just purchased a 2018 Ram 3500 crew cab Laramie. Your videos have motivated me so much to make this change in our lives! Thank you!
Congratulations on the new edition to you and your wife! When is she due? And gotcha. 1 thing to remember here is that “Trucks” in a combination set up pulling a trailer can only be up to a certain length in most states. Some states might be 60’ but some are 65’. This is overall length from front of truck to rear of trailer. I’m not saying you’ll get pulled over and get a ticket, but I’ve seen it happen. To avoid this, you need to change the designation on your title from Truck to Tractor. Semi tractors and other vehicles aren’t governed by these lengths the same way. I’d look into that if I were you since you’re looking at getting such a long trailer. And make sure you’ve got your CDL.

I will just get a 40' then just so I know I'm compliant in every state. I didn't know some states limited you on your total length. What would changing my title from truck to tractor do as far as insurance? Thank you!
I don’t know the insurance adjustments when making a change like that but I can’t imagine it being much as it’s just changing designations, the vehicle itself is still the same and worth the same.
Love the new intro and love the encouragement to not Limit Your Self. However, me personally, I cannot justifies offsetting the difference between air-ride and non-air-ride
Thanks for the support brother! And of course everyone’s going to be in a different boat financially. We’d all love the brand new top of the line equipment, but it does come with higher payments or more to invest. Looking forward to seeing you on the road sometime brother!

Absolutely! I am sure we will cross paths soon. Enjoy the beautiful Florida weather. It is slowly warming up in Ohio but only 35 today.
Air systems can get tricky in cold weather too. I drive class B tandem up north. It’s another thing to maintain, check on.
Thanks for the input. I’ve been trying to research what issues I could be looking at come winter time.
You want to know why hotshot trucks get torn up ? Trailers get torn up? Loads shift? Non air ride trailers. Get a shocker hitch or an air ride 5th wheel in the long run you will be saving money and making more. Nothing wrong with a non air ride trailer. Makes 11 hours of driving and pulling a gooseneck waaaay more enjoyable with air ride
Just wanted to send a shout out from a local subscriber. I'm new after seeing a Boynton Beach hash tag on one of your videos. Born and raised right here, baby. 👍✌
Great to connect with you Ken! Are you in the trucking industry or just came across the video?
@@DreamInspired No, not in the industry. But I would love to be paid to see our beautiful country. By the way, thank you for your service!
Wow man, small world! Yeah that’s the number 1 reason I started this company... Traveling and seeing what I’ve already seen in my short time has changed my life. What’s stopping you from making a move like this?
@@DreamInspired I know this is an old video, but I just came across this video. I'm from Sunrise, FL. Are you still in this business? I tow a 53' enclosed 3 car hauler, but wanna get a open flat bed. I would love to pick your brain.
Yes sir. Great to connect with you. I drive a semi full time now. I’ll be driving for about another hour and a half tonight out in Indiana, so I’ll be up and free after noon. Text me tomorrow and we’ll see about those questions. 5613524932 have a great night man!
Just ordered a 40 ft air ride, hydraulic dove hydro jacks etc. 30k GVWR. A lot of air ride and heavier loads in CA. And equipment locally ;) $$$$$$$ and a lot less expensive buying it out of state instead of here in Ca.
I buy everything out of state lol. 👍🏻👍🏻 that’s awesome tho man! Look forward to seeing you out there sometime
Great video. Totally on a different subject. I also live in Florida. Center of the state. Have you found insurance cost being in Florida an issue. Im hearing that I should start company in a different state because of insurance. But the stars like NC have low insurance but have state income tax. What are your thoughts on that
Check out Reliance Partners. I haven’t had an issue getting insurance but the cost is high because I’m in Palm Beach County and I’m in the inner city so for me, it’s high.
Diamond c all the way
I want me a Diamond C!
Since you aren't on the road right now, are you still paying insurance
Yes I have insurance.
are you pricing the double C trailer at the factory or what dealer are you talking too?
