Thanks for the review. Can you talk more about the power of the V-6? Is it enough or is it sluggish when you hit the gas pedal?
It is relative, what I mean is It'll go but the 300 is a big car. If you are just cruising and not trying to be racing people that v6 will do you great.
Man I have a 2012 v6 version. As a v8 guy this car has some good power I’m impressed with this car

I have 2016 v6 sport it has the roof and fog lights. I love it I thought that I was tripping for a second about the hard shifting, I appreciate that. I don’t care about it not being a v8 my v6 is still quick as it is. It’s crazy how once you get a car, you to see them everywhere.

I got a 300s v6 instead of the v8, mainly because I was able to get AWD with the v6 and it doesn't come on the v8 300s anymore. And where I live sometimes you need that AWD.
I appreciate this video . I just bought a 2019 300s v6 , it does shift hard when put into reverse and drive BUT that’s without warning it up. I was going to take back to the dealership but now I know it’s normal .
It would help to add some lucas transmission fix to your transmission fluid that will help ease it into reverse
@@douchebagsonthemoon7087 It's great product. Bought my 2011 v8 two months ago around 200k miles. Transmission comes great, and after putting a bottle of Lucas, it goes even smoother.

Have a 2017 300S , but mine is white and bronze with the black grille fully loaded gonna do some customizing. It's a cruiser style vehicle love my V6 , if I want to tear up the road and be fast and furious , I'll buy a V8 charger or SS impala for that.
Love the channel name!! Nothing worse than hot leather death in summer!!! I got a 2011c with ventilated seats which does help but, If I hit the unlock button twice and hold it down, the front windows go down... skesk a bonus on getting that heat out.

Tint the windshield with about 30% 3M tint.Even though its illegal here in NYC, the cops aint messing with us too much since Covid.It makes a big difference keeping the car cool.

V6 2013 Chrysler Varvatos edition.Gas mileage is great and with my Mopar CAI I get enough power for me from 0-60 it moves.Plus im more of a cruiser guy, but if I could get a 2012-2014 Chrysler SRT8 at a good price im jumping at it.
I totally understand about that car and generation. It is a great car and the V6 300 makes good power. People just don't recognize it for what it is. I'm a cruiser guy myself.

If you are after good Miles Per Gallon the V6 is a great Car. If you are after Smiles Per Gallon the V8 wins hands down. I owned a 2015 V6 and now I have a 2020 V8. I have spent more than a year in each one and the V8 is my favorite by far, but these gas prices are killing me!!! I only get 9MPG in the V8, but I can't keep my foot out of it to be honest. I use to get about 21MPG in the V6.

So this is also my first Mopar too I just bought a 2015 Chrysler 300 limited with the 6 cylinder but my question to you both does your transmission engage hard into reverse
No.but it does have hard shifting when the trans is cold. But when it up to temp it's fine
Oh ok the dealership told me it has adaptive transmission so it goes on your driving but I still feel that it shouldn't go that hard into reverse like it does but thanks for getting back to me
What I was going to do is put some lucas transmission fix in it to smooth it out I saw this helped a few other ppl

5.7L v8 get 285 bhp
3.6L v6 get 266bhp
if you do think that little bit of extra money would be best spent on the v8 you can supercharge that v6 and get SRT8 bhp for that same price js
I feel like the v6 is ment for fuel economy me personally I wouldn't upgrade it. the 5.7 is a good platform to build off of its a fun v8 with plenty of potential and I told him those where 12s in the trunk 😆
And the bhp on a 5.7 is around 330....and 360 to the crank
V6 is 1 second slower in the quarter mile gets better mpgs and more reliable..I'll stay v6 unless the v8 is the 6.4 which they discontinued
They are discontinuing the 5.7 and replacing it with a twin turbo v6 and the v6 they are replacing it with has a base hp of 400

Both of them are pretty reliable it just depends on preference.
What are some the major problems with the Chrysler 300?
Suspension and brakes aren't the best but I'm adding 392 parts which are better quality. Transmission had some hard shifting but other than that it's been reliable.

Speedometer on v8 goes to 160, 300s has a dark trim level except for the front and rear badge are chrome until a certain year, then the recent model front and rear badges are black with red trim, and v8 has leather and premium sound system and panoramic roof
