What is the best size rhinestones to use when creating a t-shirt?
When starting out with rhinestones the best sizes are Hotfix ss6, ss10, and ss16. I hope this helps. Peace and blessings.

How do do it and what material do I need

how do thee rhinestones end up all with the bling side up and the silverback on bottom? Or thees are not silverbacks?
Glitter MePink Hey! The Bling side goes up because you pull them from the top with the Transfer Tape with the bottom exposed. After that, you lay it down on a shirt or whatever apparel you're going to heat press the stones to, with the bottom (darker/flat side) down on the shirt with the tape and bling side up. Once it is heat pressed, you pull the tape away and the bling side is up with the dark/flat side heat pressed to the shirt. :) Hope this helps!

You only need to glue on flatback stones. Hotfix stones have to be heat pressed.

so some is on the right sparkly side but some is on the black part(other non sparkly rhinestone side) so how do i brush it so it will all face the right side(sparkly side)

I have a question for you..you make it look easy to create a stencil. What if you have a shirt with a picture already on it and you want to outline the image (instrument) with rhinestones. Is that doable? Thanks!
yvonne evans Hey! It is possible to do that, what you do is you have to convert the image to a "bitmap" (a tracing in CorelDRAW), and all you would need to do is create an outline island fill around your new image. :) The only thing you would need to make sure of is the size of your image on your shirt, make sure the image in your Corel workspace is the same image because you are not able to stretch it after you have already created the rhinestones. If you need any help with that, please let us know! :)

TheRhinestoneWorld Thank you so much for responding to my question. The shirt is a silhouette in black with a white background. I wanted to use clear crystals in the white part and black stones for the figure. Gold stones for the instrument. I don't have Corel and thought I could outline with fabric glue and work my way inside by rows....is this possible? or should I create my own template by tracing and punching holes...

We are now carrying Magic Flock ( blue sky color).

You would likely have to create your own design! Otherwise, you might get lucky and find a licensed seller on Etsy!

How do the rhinestone fall into the template flat side down?

The shape of the stones plus how we have the Magic Flock template material created works with the fibers of the brush to help the Rhinestones fall properly into the holes. If any fall in upside down, just brush a small pile of Rhinestones over the top, using small circles and they’ll flip the rhinestone right side up.

We actually sell starter kits for people in your position! We recommend starting out with a less than the best cutter and getting a top of the line heat press, as you'll get more use this way. :) I'm linking you to our business starter kits where you're able to choose your equipment. For a cutter, I would recommend the GCC Expert and the Stahls Hotronix 16x20 heat press. :) If you don't already have CorelDraw, you would need to add that into the package as well, CorelDraw x6 will work just fine for that. :)

How much money did you spend in that design ?
It really depends on the dimensions of the design and the amount of stones. In order to calculate the cost, we would need to have the exact dimensions and stone count, as mentioned above! Our actual cost was probably around $10 or so.
