This is kind of how I realized I didn't want to be in sales anymore. As a financial advisor with my own offices I just got to a point where I couldn't go anywhere without running into someone that reminded me of work. I also realized I don't like to work that hard and I could work at home for about half the time with no one to worry about constantly...lol
What became of the Buyer or Seller having appreciation for the tremendous service provided and care enough to call their agent to see/know how they are doing? Maybe even a Thank You card at the very least!
I had a realtor do a short sale.. Then 8 months later. quit.. She is now drafted up for violations with fair housing. Do not let them get away with it..
Never felt dodged by my Remax agent, Greg Roberts of Plano. He met us all over the city - including the BMW dealer (think he wanted to drool) and always called or emailed us promptly. He has a great sense of humor - found this on his website.
This could be an agent from ANY company. It's very funny, and what if it caused just one agent to do the follow up they should be doing, or gave someone a bit of a reminder that our income comes from the honor of serving others. Don't we all benefit when we all improve.

Finding good real estate agents to buy or sell a home is not easy. Going through one agent after another is a bit discouraging at times. Regrettably if you don't qualify for a house for a Certain amount. More than some agents don't even want to consider you. Finally like everything else research is needed before signing on the dotted line.

I fired my Re-max agent two days ago. For exactly the reasons described in this video. He seldom returned phone calls. I had to fight the son of a bitch for copies of the listing agreement, finally got them after he supposedly sold the house (his copy machine didn't work or the room with the copy machines was locked and the broker had the key.) The buyer was nine days late removing the financial contingency agreement and it was news to him when I said I considered the buyer to be in default. He said that was no problem, it always happened, nothing to worry about. He lied to me about the buyer wanting things fixed after the home inspection. I called the buyer and he said he didn’t know what my realtor was talking about, he had no problems with the inspection report. My agent shows up with his son who he says can fix the problems for the cost of labor alone. This is Re-max, a bunch of crooks. When I told the broker about his agent trying to grease the skids for his son, the brokers biggest problem was that I had talked to the buyer directly. When I spoke to the buyer I found out Re-max wasn’t keeping him informed either. I could go on with more but that’s the crux of the matter. I intend to make it my life’s work to tell my Re-max story to anyone who will listen each and every time I hear someone talking about selling his or her home. As far as I’m concerned, Real estate agents are sleazy pond scum and Re-max agents are one or two steps below used car salesman.
