If your Sandisk cruzer shows up as Sandisk Anisha 64mb, then most likely it has a disconnected memory chip. This can often happen if the flash drive gets bent. Bending a flash drive can cause damage to the circuit board and solder joints. In such cases, Sandisk flash drive's data can be recovered either:
1. by repairing the original circuit board
2. swapping NAND chip to the donor flash drive
3. directly from the NAND chip using specialized programmer and controller simulation software
If you lost data on a Sandisk cruzer and it shows up as 64mb now instead of the original size - we can help.

What are advantages and disadvantages of the low melt solder vs hot air? Sometimes you use one, sometimes the other, is there some reason?
Less heat stress for the NAND with low melt. I use low melt for TSOP chips because headers are accessible. You can't use low melt removal for BGA obviously
What? Lo-melt solder and hot air are two entirely different things…
@@StuffIHave, he didn't say they were the same.
Specifically what type of low melt solder is that? i.e. what to search for to buy some?
@@hddrecoveryservices please i am from India i wanted to learn this things from you i wanted to open my shop in india please respond please please i am your big fan plz reply bro please i am ready to pay
You have many interesting solution and thanks for sharing them👍👍👍👍

17:00 best shape tip for this kind of micro-soldering of pins is what hakko defines as BCM/CM shape tips. the dent on the diagonal cut of the conical tip is ideal for drag soldering of pins because the surface tension of solder in the dent helps prevent solder bridging.
love watching your videos .
Glad you like them!
I once bought a 2x1 USB flash drive (a offer at the local store). The capacity should have been 4G each stick but one was defective an showed 64M only. I opened it and it was the cheapest flashdrive I ever seen: only thing inside was a COB (the black blob thing), no USB controller, no flash memory. I opened the working one an it was the same; it still works today. I wanted to solder a proper flash IC (I suspected that it was bad) but for that I would have to remove the COB so I gave up.
Thanks for sharing !
You are welcome
Thanks for the great videos! Could you please tell us what flux dispenser you are using and where to get it?
I got this one from union repair, but I have switched it for a different type that I am testing out next week. I'll post something about them
Erkin hi my friend, its been a while i am not writting. It was also a nice demonstration of the magic of low melt soldier. The clam shell you mention there are really good where did u get them. Kindest regards from istanbul
Hello Gurhan, first of all I want to say my condolences to everyone in Turkey who faced the recent tragedy. It is heartbreaking really
The socket adapter was bought in bulk from eBay few years ago. I still have some left.I see them on Aliexpress too
@@hddrecoveryservices Hi erkin, thank you for your kind toughts, i think it is the disaster of the century, just looked at the death toll on tv and it is 31,000 and increasing. Eventhough it is almost 7 days everyday there are people recovered under debris which are living. I am afraid the death toll will increase 2 fold. 10 cities are almost to ground, the earthquakes that happend (2 major earthquakes) smashed everything to ground , i can not even findiing any words to describe it. i havent seen any of these socket adaptors, but if you can manage to send me one pcs i will willing to pay for it. Thanks
I just searched for it too, its a TSOP test socket in Aliexpress. Best regards.
What's the machine that makes the funny noise that I can only assume is cleaning the soldering iron tip. It seems really useful :)
Can I ask what software that is for the USB control panel, I have done a search and not brought back anything useful, even using the angler fish logo as the search. Great post. Do you guys recover newer cruiser blade USBs
It's part of the Deepspar USB Stabilizer
What basic rework station do you recommend for DIYers who want to troubleshoot their own devices? That would make an interesting show.
I had been using quick for the longest time before I got JBC. It's a good one. Also I hear Atten ST-862D is great option
@@hddrecoveryservices Thank you!
@@hddrecoveryservices sure Atten is great or even sugon
What is the cleaning device that you're using for your iron (that makes a little noise)?
JBC junior www.jbctools.com/clms-a-junior-tip-cleaner-product-962-category-7-menu-1.html
Ahh, the old 64 milli-bit issue. ;)
:)
Great 👍. Where I can buy adapter 48 to solder on USB like yours
I bought these on ebay years ago. Last I checked I could not find them there
adapter s are making life easier...
Sure do
👍
If your tip in the soldering iron doesn't want to take the solder, not only maybe the tip is dirty, but might as well be too hot ;).
I don't have problems with that. Tip is at 345 and I got a JBC junior by my side to keep it clean
It could be that the tin-chrome coating got rubbed off by too much 'cleaning'
Where do you get the low melt solder?
It was sent as a gift from one of the followers in Brazil
I have 64GB Sandisk cruzer, created a bootable media with it and now it only shows 64mb and I cant format it even with diskpart! any idea why?
Maybe you have disconnected NAND :)
@@hddrecoveryservices I opened it and there was some kind of debris on the NAND connections, removed it and now its working.
how much does it cost to recover a flash drive please, thank you
Depends on the type of procedure and size of device. It is not a one fix for all
🙂
Or Rstudio technician worth getting.thanks
not unless you need it.
Hello evereyone i hawe one quection. I buy fake capacity usb pen drive 2TB orginal size of memory is 32 gigs. what program repair the memory size. i'm not speak about partition creating only 32gigs and left fake memory unpartited. i want actualy restore orginal parameters 32gigs on pen drive.
If platter is damage is any chance of recover some data ?
I am from india and how can i send to you ?
We work with platter damage cases every day. It depends on drive architecture, number of disks, where the scratches are and most important the budget of client. Platter damage cases can easily go to 5-10K USD
@@hddrecoveryservices Sir it have 80GB Seagate HDD and problem is that i opened it to see where it is damage ..
Can it recoverable?
Can the data be saved?
Does the video show that it can be?
@@hddrecoveryservices Just asking...
64 millibits, not much!
I gained new knowledge from Day by day, thanks to you erkin. Please if I can connect with you on discord or Instagram that would be really great.
