Clare Dowling is a fantastic guitar tutor. She's got such great patience and explains everything so clearly and calls out the chords as she's playing which really helps. Thank you Clare.
she is amazing teacher, and makes really cool songs easy to learn, I'm just learning guitar here at youtube and she is my reagge tutor, THANK YOU SO MUCH CLARE
I remember watching this about 12 years ago when this came out. Your still the best feel guitarist out here doing this song. Finally learning this song, thanks so much. You have great vocals too.
oh wow, I'm revisiting this video because I got notified that someone liked my comment I made 14 years ago. Crikey, where does the time go! It's great to see Clare still going strong after all these years with her channel teaching us great guitar tunes.
Hey there! I just wanted to say thank you for some really great tips. I have used them and am playing this song live weekly. You have a beautiful, almost delicate strumming pattern on this tune which I love. I've added a few of my own interpretations to what you've taught here, but wouldn't have been able to come up with it without your help. Thanks again!
great lesson. thanks so much. i don't understand people who write critical comments when someone is kind enough to post a free lesson. complainers just have to complain, i guess.
Clare, thank you for a great lesson. Thank you especially for not wasting time explaining how to play the chords and calling them by name. I have been playing this all day. Thanks..
Thank You,Thank You...exactly what I was looking for, note for note clear and comprehensive.I woke this morning with this song playing in my head and by the end of the day I'll be playing it on my guitar, thanks again.
Hello there Claire:) Thank you for all the lessons, i've got a great feeling that in time i will be able to learn from your lovely lessons!:) You're marvellous:) Bless you!
Once again many thanks Claire. FYI I attemtpted this lesson last year around September and found all those chords higher up the neck very daunting....Many months and many hours practice later I feel I am ready to learn this one. Having found many of your other videos useful I suggest to those that comment about your 'inability to teach' that they check out some of your other videos that are a little less difficult. (and keep their stupid comments to themselves)
Eccellent! You are great at teaching marley! I hope to learn all you teach so that i can spread the word of truth ! ONE LOVE! LOVE THE WMD THAT DESTROYS HATE!
you are so talentive thank you so much to post that lesson i really like the way you sing i can feel you sing with your heart and oviously you enjoy playin reggae anyway ty again
thank you for this vid. It helped me out so much :) You're great. Please keep posting if you can any songs you may know and can teach, you're a wonderful teacher !
Hi Clare that was a fab lesson. As a group guitar teacher I'm always looking for good youtube tutorials (not that easy to find!) and yours is well explained, simple, effective, and damn good fun. Well done. Andy
Love your vibe, very cool. To the guy having trouble with barring. do one of 2 things either play the 2 or 3 highest strings (voicing) or the 2 lowest which would be essentially a power chords. As your hands get used to the shapes then get the barrs going. you wont miss the whole barr and you'll get some good feedback from your own playing.... :)
great lesson. thanks so much. i don't understand people who write critical comments when someone posts a free lesson. complainer just have to complain, i guess.
A chord x0222x D and E are the A chord moved, D x5777x, E x7999x, try watching lesson on the CAGED system if you dont understand how chords are moveable, its quite easy and should be one of the first things a beginner should learn.gl.
Bloody amazing, watched it from start to finish WITHOUT my guitar in my hands! Top Marks! Subscribing now, keep up the good work... bout to watch the others.
I disagree. I like hearing the finished version at the end, it gives me something to strive for. Just my two cents, but I think it comes down to personal preference. You can't fault someone for giving some people what they want and simultaneously angering some others. Great lesson, Claire. Loved it.
Great video, great guitar playing, great voice! I really enjoyed it and learned the first part quickly. The intro that is. I'm having some difficulties seeing your finger placement on the chords though. Do you think you could put the chord tabulature in description? Or send them to me? I really want to learn this.

Thank you so much for such easy to follow lessons. I'm playing Jamming after only a short time and now this. Best tutorials on here!
Nice arrangement for a single guitar and voice. The song is actually more complex than it sounds at first listen. Nicely done.

im sure a chord with a sharp note as a root note would become a flat therefore its not F#m or C#m but its Gbm Dbm
This is awesome good work
