I would call it respectful riding as it should always be "no one gets hurt that way "

Always loved this track, and always wanted to do a track day, could you briefly share with me the process from booking to turning up and getting going? And prices?
    Thanks!

Hi Graham, you should do it if you get the opportunity, its great fun. I booked through No Limits track days on my first track day and have stuck with them ever since. They are so well organised and friendly, you can check the prices on their website, and there's loads of information about what to expect on a track day. Once you've booked and selected the group you want to ride in (novice for beginners) you turn up on the day, nice and early around 6-6.30am, get your bike unloaded, and then if your as nervous as I was just try and relax and grab a coffee - there truly is nothing to be nervous about. You then sign in, get you wrist band confirming your group and a couple of stickers to put on your bike. You then take your bike to scrutineering for a check over and noise test which only takes a few moments - but you usually have to que. The Marshalls doing the scrutineering then ticks one of the stickers on you bike to say you've passed and your good to go. Next comes the safety briefing which usually last around 30mins and goes over all the safety and track information. And then that's it.
There's normally three groups of riders, novice, intermediate and fast group. Each group get 20mins on track and then 40mins off while the other two groups go out, and then repeat through out the day. 20mins doesn't seem a lot but its plenty. Novices are the 3rd group to go out i.e last and you will be called to the track though the pa system when it your turn.
It is great fun and every rider should do it.

Just booked my 1st Trackday at Brands-hatch with MSVT. Do you know if there are tyre warmers available for hire at the location? I couldn't see any option when booking...

I've never used tyre warmers so I can't really help.

Mostly, there were two lads that shot by us that should have been in the intermediate/fast group. And we thought we were doing really well until then. :)

hahaha that guy in front of you at 1:45 trying to get his knee down by literally hanging completely off the side of bike with no lean angle oh man......

He’s probably just practicing and having a great time. It’s not all about being Valentino, especially in the novice group :)

you lean off the bike so you dont need lean angle on the bike. its a safer way of going fast especially if theyre on cold tyres
