I think there can truly be seamless transfer to an extent and probably gain even more viewers. You have an entire generation of people right now who rarely, if ever watch mainstream TV. We all loved the show, an more importantly we liked it because we saw ourselves in you and Fin. We saw you guys living out stuff we wanted to do with our buddies but either couldnt afford or didnt have the time. This video is 2 hrs old and has 7k likes lol, your fans are here man and will be!
While I'm bummed that Roadkill is done, I am super stoked to hear you two can collaborate on UA-cam now (I didn't know you couldn't before), and look forward to both of your contents!
Such an EPIC show and something that I thought would never end. Happy to call you guys friends and humbled yet proud that you called on me to be in a couple of episodes! How do I get added to the IMDB page too??
Roadkill will NEVER die!! You and Frieberger ARE Roadkill. The show succeeded because of you guys. They might have taken the name away, but as long as you guys keep making videos, Roadkill lives! 😊
To this day and forever, my absolute FAVORITE episode on any of the shows, was when you and Freiburger stopped by your parents’ store on the road-trip in the Crusher Camaro. The unbridled reaction of your Dad when you pulled up to him checking the mail: “Sonofabitch! I’ll be damned! How are you, Son? You are the last person on the planet I expected to see today.” You could hear his smile before you could see it. If you got nothing else out of Roadkill, Mike, that visit with your Dad was worth it all.
my son was 13 when you did the first roadkill nights in Pontiac at the M1, he was upset because we spent the first half of the day there and all he wanted to do was meet you guys ( you were his hero's), well it got a little late and we had almost a 2 hour drive home so we left, we actually passed you guys on the road, poor guy was in tears when I wouldn't turn around and pay to go back inside, now he is going on 22 and has built several "cars" and done tons of modifications to vehicles, he works for Roush as a mechanic at the ford motor company proving grounds in Romeo, long story short because of you guys his life is all about cars and trucks now, thanks for that!
@@FinnegansGarage hey man, appreciate all the laughs and memories over the years watching your content. Something to share around, one of the ways to tweak the algorithm on UA-cam is to encourage your audience to leave comments with at least 7 words. Don't know why that's the cutoff for YT's algo, but hope it helps yall pull a few more pennies out of YT.
Dave mentioned it on his video, but I wanted to express it here. I was down in it, thought about "ending it", then I found roadkill on youtube. Yall lifted me up. Been around for all the episodes since. Much love.
Hi Mike. I'd been avoiding leaving a comment for years but finally it seems now is a better time than any. I worked as a Post Production Edit Lead for Velocity and then currently with MotorTrend as my client including through the joint-venture and merger. But before that, I was a avid fan of Roadkill back in college in 2012 and 2013 before working at Discovery. I had the opportunity to pick which network I wanted to work with, and Velocity was my choice. Since I was the one of the few people with familiarity of your show, I was excited to lead the edits in the bay and keep the soul of the show intact as much as possible while potentially bringing it to a larger audience (before El Segundo took over editing for TV). As a fan, I'm glad it continued for as long as it did. We also lost a lot of talent on our side during this whole ordeal, so it wasn't uni-directional (large debt from the merger to make WBD), and I was never at the level to get advance knowledge or any sort of input just to be clear - just a cog in a larger machine. I wish you, David, and the other hosts and crew the best and will look forward to this being a stepping stone in a hopefully much larger future story! PS. I also agree that the first incarnation of the Rotsun was the best :)
My second son was born August of 2020. My wife and celebrated New Year’s Eve in a children’s hospital five hours from home. We celebrated our anniversary in that same hospital in February. Finally going home that March. Roadkill, among other shows, helped pass the time while I held my son keeping him comfortable so my wife could work. I’d set the iPad on a table next to the recliner and we’d enjoy hours of episodes. He was hooked to all sorts of tubes and wires. Test after test came back “normal”. He was finally confirmed to be one of five children known in the world with an unnamed genetic disorder. Now four, he is unable to walk or talk. But he can make sounds. Laugh and giggle. He is on a feeding tube. He loves the sound of engines and will spend hours with me in the shop. Often found napping in front of the wood stove. I can’t thank you guys enough for helping us get through a very difficult time. You’ve inspired us to get out and do cool stuff with our junk. Hope to see you at a live event someday 🙏🏼
1000% All shows that were Canceled on Motortrend just bring them to UA-cam!! I guarantee your fans will show up. I understand the names of the shows will have to change for legal reasons, but who cares about the semantics! You and David Invest into a New Channel and Media Company that can house all of the shows we Love! Yes it will be a lot of work, Yes it will take a lot of time and investment, but by golly it can be done and I am here for it! Even if you have to have it on Patreon to have a Paywall... Either way I will support the whole Team!!
Shoot I would even be willing to help!! I am out here in SoCal! I am friends with SlimsFab! You member, he supplied the V-drive for Stubby Bob!! Let's freaking Goooooooo!
Mike, hearing you and Dave say “This time on Roadkill” has been a weekly occurrence in my life since before I could drive. Roadkill is the reason I got into cars and I have nothing but fond memories of watching you guys live the absolute dream with all the hotrods and projects. Meeting you at Cleetus & Cars in Bristol was an absolute bucket list experience for me and I’ll never forget it. Long live Roadkill, I hope you and Dave continue to make content together here on UA-cam to continue the legacy
That Stubby Bob moment was absolutely epic! You guys did great, fun, work and for that we can all be grateful. And we can thank both MotorTrend and UA-cam for starting Roadkill and giving you and us the opportunity to have 13 years of this great show. And now that you are on UA-cam, I wish you, and David, and all the other hosts continued success!
I just want to say thank you to you and Freiburgern. I'm a 50 yo female with 3 now adult daughters. We all started watching Roadkill years ago. Watching you guys and similar shows inspired our daughters to learn about cars. I was never more proud than when our girls announced they wanted tools for holiday gifts and then went on to learn to maintain their vehicles and use those tools. All of that was inspired by the entertainment and antics of Roadkill. I still find myself pausing and asking my husband what something means, thus learning more about how things work than I'd have learned otherwise. So thank you for the entertainment and the education and for inspiring my girls to take care of their cars themselves, thus not having to be at the mercy of others. It's a special kind of freedom when you know how to fix your own car. Best of luck in what you're doing. Whoever you guys end up, we will be following.
Mike, we did not stick with you for 13 years, You and Freiburger kept us excited for the next episode for 13 years. Best content ever. Thank you so much!
Growing up on UA-cam I am 27 years old. My dad and I really connected over roadkill and brought him onto UA-cam. I would get in trouble for watching your videos at lunch too loud or in class. You guys drove me into this crazy passion as well as my father. You guys show me a little bit of gas, spark and you can have fun in any car
As a cancer survivor I have to thank you all for keeping me sane while I was going through chemo earlier this year. As I was sitting through 5-6 hours getting my treatments I would watch all the iterations of your shows, RK, RKG, HRG, Faster and Engine Masters, which made each day of feeling crappy not so bad. They say laughter is the best medicine, and that is very true. You guys made me laugh my ass off with your antics and banter was very entertaining and enjoyable. It sucks that these big companies don't care about the fans, just the almighty dollar. I will still keep my MT subscription so I can still watch all your great shows! Thanks for keeping me sane and not feeling so terrible during my issues!
Thanks for the laughs and entertainment over the years. I have been watching since you started on UA-cam. Roadkill and Top Gear (original) are my top motor shows. I look forward to seeing more from you.
Wow, this was a lot more emotional than I thought it'd be. Gonna miss hearing you guys say "This time on Roadkill" for the first time on another new adventure. Hats off Freiburger and Finnegan, and all the hearts and souls of those who helped them make this greatness possible ❤️
Hey Mike/David, thanks for all the great moments that you've shown us over the years! While I hadn't really watched Roadkill past when MotorTrend decided to leave UA-cam, I LOVED the content that you guys put out 10+ years ago. My favorite moments were the episodes where you brought your "builds" to DirtFish and just had a ton of fun rallying around their course. Best to both of ya and hope that you guys can continue on with sharing your experiences and joy with everyone!
Such a great tribute to a show that changed the lives of so many in the car community, and had a bigger affect on my life than I could have ever expected or hoped for. Thanks for everything Mike!
We've been dying for another roadkill on UA-cam. Motortrend definitely dropped the ball on that one and didn't see the future. Start a new one.... Finn and Fry's excellent adventures. You can thank me later.
@P2Feener305 Sorry it's not "reverse male cowboys" like you said you wanted, and "my turn at the truck stop glory hole" was already taken. Keep coming with the suggestions though, you'll get one you'll like eventually little guy.
My 6 year old son has grown up watching all the Roadkill shows with me. I'm sad to see them go. Thank you for so many fun shared memories watching your shows. It helped me share the world of cars with him. He was calling out car models before he could count to 10. I really hope to bring him to a Roadkill nights event in the future.
You guys are the reason I decided to work on reviving the forgotten treasures i can aquire. Currently working on reviving an old vw type3 squareback but there's also a coe van and a ¾ ton 4x4 truck potentially brought in as new projects and mini projects out of vehicles that are beyond rebuilding. Most of what I'm working with is abandoned vehicles but that's what I prefer as bringing life to forgotten dreams. I'm by no means good at it but I found a hobby I can turn into a passion because of you guys. Thank you so much for being the joyous inspiration that brought me so much happiness. While the show will be missed, i can't wait to see what happens next in this inspiring saga. Best of luck on saving the cars and hopefully others may have the chance to aquire the ones that remain.
5:25 that opening though… I was 13 years old when I saw the first episode. To say you guys made affordable hot rodding cool again is putting it lightly. Thank you for the laughs, and good luck with your future endeavors. I’ll keep tuning in!
You could hear the emotion in Freiburgers post the other day. You guys created something awesome, touched and changed so many lives, and us gearheads are forever grateful. Cant wait to see all of you guys next chapters soon. Hopefully you guys can put the band back together soon. Best wishes and happy holidays to you all.
Thank you for the years of enjoyment. So glad you mentioned the muscle truck/jet boat episode; I've been watching since before then and that one may arguably be my favorite. Really excited to hear that you and Freiburger are going to continue to collab! Now off to watch the drag week movie
I've been watching Roadkill since Episode 1. I don't remember how I found it when it came out, I was 12, and watched it religiously throughout my teenage years, and it defined who I am and who I became in the world. It made me realize that the 20+ vehicles rotting away in my fathers yard don't all need to be restorations, but rather, something I can slap together and have fun with as is. I met you back in around 2015 I want to say, or whenever you had first built the first painted version of Blasphemi. You brought it out to the Pomona Swap meet, and signed a hat I had, the only thing I had on me at the time, and spent time with this 14 or 15 year old kid talking about your Hemi 55. I never forgot it, and now I am 24, with my own UA-cam channel, hoping to create half the content you and the other guys put out, because I have to. Car guys, enthusiasts, we don't choose this life. I was born into it, my father being in the Ford Performance Parts and Cougar business since the 1970's, it took me a long time to realize that what I really wanted to do when I grew up, was build cool cars, and make friends while doing it. I wish you all the best, and hope that you all can continue with new and interesting content for as long as you WANT. And we all get the benefit of watching. Thank you so much, from all the fans, especially that 14 year old that got to see his hero and the car he built, and was not let down. You guys have something very few have. Good Luck, and here's a quote for you that I still live with every day, from the speed businessman himself, Carroll Shelby, "Every morning I wake up with new ideas" #Roadkillforever
Nothing but fond memories of your adventures. I hope you, Dave, Tony, lucky and Dulcich make time to still catch up, have some fun, and film it for us! Thank you for so many great memories!
Roadkill was the first MotorTrend show I ever watched, right in the first season, still watching in Season 13. I’ve watched every episode so many times. For the laughs, fixing cars the right way, the wrong way, but still having fun either way! It breaks my heart to hear that Roadkill and many other of my favorite shows in the MotorTrend world are cancelled. But hearing that you all have UA-cam channels, it gives me hope. Good luck Finn! I’ll be checking out those UA-cam channels!
Man not gonna lie, kinda teared up at the begining of this video. I wish nothing but the best for all the motortrend people involved in this, have been watching roadkill for 10+ years and have found many other people because of it. You will go down as one of the best to ever do car "tv" and can't wait to see what you and freiburger end up doing in the future. Much love from Canada
Damn bro . Been with y'all since episode 1. The shear amount of automotive knowledge y'all have given me is difficult to put into words . There was a good 2-3 years where y'all's uploads were genuinely the highlight of my week . Thanks for all the memories Mike .
I have been watching you guys since I is about 12 now I'm 22, I'm going to miss you guys for a longest time I'm alive. I started watching you guys for after my aunt died. You guys got me out of a deep depression and now I'm going to start watching you guys for from the start up to the last episode. You're the reason why I'm in the cars and always will be. You guys keep doing what you guys are doing. Forever in my heart you guys are the best that can't wait to see you guys are roadkill nights next next year and hopefully I'll bring on my car for you guys to all enjoy. RIP roadkill
Roadkill might be dead, but the brotherhood it created cannot be killed that easily. Regardless of Roadkill being dead, keep doing what you guys do! If you love it keep doing it. We love watching you guys, but we also know that its a tough road. Do whats best for you guys.
17:30 Doesnt make enough money for them! Roadkill is the ONLY reason I ever subbed to Motortrend. I cant get enough of you guys, the show was amazing. I hope you can get something together and do something similar on UA-cam.
Okay sorry for the late comment, Roadkill to me is the mecca of car shows, So much it got me back into what i love. Its the phrase "Don't make it right, Just make it run" I now have a collection of cars that just run. Im beyond proud of the fact that you guys got me back into a hobby I love. And I owe you guys because my daughter and I bonded watching your shows. I had been saving up money to go to a RoadKill event but knowing you are still going to create more content then I'm not upset. I wish i could say it in a way that makes you understand how much we loved Roadkill with you and David. As a big fan I thank you!!!
I went to the first roadkill event at Tucson Dragway with my dad. I got the OG roadkill shirt and hat signed by you two and got to have a cool conversation. Funny thing is there was literally a dead coyote right by the entrance to the drag strip. I thought that was the best thing haha. That rat rod Jeep was built by my uncle when he was a teenager in my Grandpa’s backyard. I thought it was awesome seeing it on roadkill! Sad the show is gone, but excited to see what is to come with the UA-cam freedom all of you guys have now. Good luck and keep the fun automotive spirit alive!
I grew up watching Top Gear and then found you guys in college while rewatching old TG episodes. You guys taught me SO much about these cars and how to work on all of them. I'll continue to watch everything you guys make and I thank you for everything you've done. Here's to the years to come.
I'm 9 days late to the comment party, but here I go: You, Mike, are more or less personally responsible to what I've been up to in my spare time for the past 8 or 9 years. After randomly watching a Hagerty stop-motion video featuring a rebuild of an MG engine, I let autoplay roll with the next video, and the next video started with a '68 Charger sliding to a stop in front of a camera, and you were there saying "In this episode of Roadkill, we rebuild a '68 Charger using use motorhome parts!" That video had my attention for the next 40 minutes, and thus my addiction to UA-cam as an alternative to regular TV began. In that same episode, I heard about the Monaco that was used to race in Lemons, and I was like "What's Lemons?". So I looked up the episode where the Monaco was taken to a 24 hours of Lemons race, and now I'm a Lemons race driver (kinda, almost). Then I saw the video about the Lemons Rally (probably the closest you recorded to my house) and I was like, "I can do that, too!" and now I go on Lemons Rallies whenever I can. Later on (2018 or 2019), I met you in person at the Carlisle Ford show, and I asked you to deliver a Freiburger Pilsner beer mug to David. Then I took ErictheCarGuy to dinner later that same day. I've done a lot of fun stuff thanks to all the UA-cam I consume, and I figure I have you and David to thank for all that. So thanks, Mike. I've been watching yours and Tony's and David's and Lucky's and everyone else's UA-cam shenanigans and I look forward to what everyone's doing next.
I bought a 1988 Grand Wagoneer that was SBC swapped, was someone's abandoned project, and it barely ran. I was in way over my head but I jumped in with both feet, I learned how to work on it on the fly. It's now so reliable I use it as a daily driver to work every week. It's been eternally rewarding and I never would have done it if it wasn't for roadkill. I've been watching since the beginning and its remarkable the impact it's had on me. Thank you Fin. You changed my life.
Real talk,..IF you want to keep going, and make more shows, pursue David’s idea again of starting and owning a media company. Take all the hosts, all the crew people, and make another attempt. The fan base is here to support you, put it behind a paywall. I’d be willing to pay as a show of support for your time and efforts. I’m sure many others would agree.
Putting a previously free and popular youtube show behind the Motortrend paywall is what started the decline of Roadkill in the first place and led to this
@@jerfizzlehow did that start the end when MOD started in 2015 and it's currently 2024. If you couldn't be bother to pay $5 a month to keep watching Roadkill and all the other shows they produced you missed out. I gladly supported the guys that way from 2016 until WarnerBros pulled the MotorTrend tile off Prime Video. I don't mean to sound harsh but I can't stand how many Roadkill fans still whine about $5 a month ffs.
You guys were my biggest inspiration to start making my own videos for UA-cam. The automotive space is totally saturated with supercars and million horsepower builds, it was so refreshing to see 2 regular guys wrenching on hoopties with no schtick, no agenda, just having fun. Your content is more accessible, very relatable, it inspired me to start rolling camera.
Roadkill is the only car show that can exist without constantly being compared to Top Gear/The Grand Tour, and has created a whole new genre. To me, it will always be on par with those shows. I have to mention MCM as one of the all time greats and for predating Roadkill, who are still going strong. Absolute legends and the episode with them is still one of the greatest. We're going to miss this format but I'm so happy all the MotorTrend hosts have YT channels.
Please launch a Patreon so we can donate. Roadkill, you and Dave and all of the stuff that came from that has carried me and numerous other people through some really tough times. I'd be absolutely happy to help support you guys continuing to do what you do.
Add Lucky Costa's channel link to your list dude. Thanks for 13 yrs of amazing automotive mayhem! You guys laid down the gold standard. Can't wait to see what come next. Enjoy your beer...you've damn well earned it!
Not gonna lie that opening montage had me tearing up 😔 watching you guys on that journey has got me through some pretty crappy times and I can’t believe it’s all coming to an end
Thanks Fin, Freiburger, and the entire crew. I can honestly your videos have meant so so much to me any many others. Roadkill has been a movement and I hope it continues on in one for, or another far into the future.
Finnegan, from the 80s-90s mini truck days (Resoloutions anyone?) through to Roadkill, you have created fun, automotive content. I've happily absorbed a great deal of it, and intend to continue that as long as you post content. I hate that another one of my favorite things to watch will be (is?) no more. Mostly, I hate that everyone has lost their jobs, and so close to the holidays to boot. I hope everybody lands on their feet. Can't wait to see what you cook up next. And, for the record, the Rotsun with the race V6, would be absolutely epic. Glad we could all be part of the RoadKill ride. Cheers
I remember watching Roadkill for years, I raise my hat to you guys, you went above and beyond what I thought was possible, I remember when you guys region locked it to the US and me in the UK was unable to watch it anymore, but I am going to miss you guys so damn bloody much, you should upload ALL your episodes to UA-cam all 170 of them so they are free to access world wide!
Discovery are the ones that did the Geo-blocking. There is a lot of episode that have been thrown on youtube, you just need to download them quickly before they're hit with copyright and taken down. The only people who can legally post the episodes are Discovery.
Dude I'm following you from France since the beginning of Roadkill. So I can tell you I’m gonna buy all the merch' I can. We need a show with Dave, Steve, You and all the hosts to fill our veins with good Roadkill spirit. Take care and thx for all the entertainment !
This intro had no business going that hard. I’m not crying you’re crying. I’ve watched Roadkill since day one. It really hit me hard when I heard the news. I will always be thankful for the drive and joy you guys gave have all given us.
Im a bit behind on watching the videos on how/why. 1- Thank you so much for making some of the best car guy entertainment out there. (I’ve always said that OG TopGear, Grand Tour, and Roadkill are my favorite shows). 2 - I am so sorry it’s over, but I’m SURE you will land on your feet. (Not even that you have been knocked down, you seem to have done well getting a solid channel built and merch as well). You guys are the GOAT as far as representing us - the average car guys working on our cars in the driveway (sometimes the side of the road) and other places we didn’t plan on lol. Duct tape up and carry on sir!
Mike, David and The Dulcich, y’all have fans for life. It’s sad that MotorTrend didn’t see the technical information, the joy and motivation you guys gave to the world. I’m glad that you guys can collaborate together now without reservation and can create true masterpieces. Can’t wait for the movie either! Definitely going to watch! From all the motor-heads across the world we salute you and can’t wait for the new incarnation you guys dream up!
Don’t usually post to channels, BUT an exception for the Roadkill programs. I enjoyed the programs not only for the content, which was classic, but for the fact that we got to watch every host do something they enjoyed and have fun with that. That is what made the programs. For me. Not everyone gets to do what they love to do for a “job”, but some are blessed , and we were blessed because we got to sit in with you. Thanks for some of the best entertainment and learning experience I’ve had in a long time. Best to all of you.
Nothing ever lasts forever unfortunately, it's all a moment in time, enjoy the moment. Life moves pretty quick, make the most of it. Ever since the Motortrend app stopped for people outside the USA it's been difficult to see episodes. Thanks for giving us great content Mick. Hello from the UK 🇬🇧
I have been watching Roadkill since the first episode here on UA-cam. It is the reason I got my project truck, then another car, then another truck. None work but I've been having so much fun. I even started my own channel to hopefully be like you guys. To be honest, life got a bit dark there and watching your videos and working on cars got me back to a safe place. Almost didn't make it. You guys made me realize the impact cars have on people of all ages. I work now as a mental health therapist with kids with all sorts of trauma and hope to one day open an automotive shop/therapy clinic for kids to help them. Its really emotional watching all those channels come to an end but I'm excited to see the future. I will be a forever fan of you all. Hopefully when I get the therapy shop thing going, we can convince you guys to come by and do burnouts in the parking lot. Thanks for all the laughs. Thanks for saving me.
Too bad to see Roadkill go, I dont think you guys realize how far you really reached. You put cleet ahead of you on your scale but I think so many young people started watching roadkill and got that automotive itch before many other channels. Coming from a non hot rod family and not being in an automotive trade I learned more that anyone can imagine watching you guys make rust, run in farmers fields.Thank you Fin and Freiburger for unforgettable entertainment! Going to watch the boatbill episode for the 68th time...
Hey Mike. Y’all played a real role getting me through the less-than-fun parts of my childhood. I’m 26 now and doing much, much better. Still as car obsessed as ever. Thanks for the help boss.
From the ice drags in Wisconsin to the mini bikes / Muscle Truck...Zeus it back together to the music of my people..what an epic ride! Thank you Finnegan! You've done a killer job here on your channel, will always be watching!
I've been watching roadkill since the beginning. I've always wanted a roadkill shirt, BUT now I'm not giving any money to MT or whoever owns them. I will continue to buy my FSM and DF merch. Because it supports YOU guys. From the bottom of my heart Finn, Thank you for all of these years.
So why not start a new show on UA-cam similar to Roadkill that you and Freiberger own and produce? Is it a money thing? Call the show whatever you guys want…we’ll know what it really is. Anyway…thanks for all the entertainment! Looking forward to lots more! 18:32
Thank you for more than a decade of entertaining all of us gear-heads. The on camera chemistry between you, David and the rest of the roadkill crew was matched only by the Top Gear trio. I hope to see you two on camera again here on UA-cam, or for another production.
Props and good luck to all the 'behind-the-scenes' people that made the show possible. Thanks for all the laughs and learning. I am sure this isn't the end of ROADKILL!
I remember TNN back in the mid-90s, shows like Horsepower, Hot Rodding, and Car and Driver. Then Speedvision came with the same or similar shows. Discovery in the mid-2000s with all the chopper builds and Monster Garage era. Then, Velocity. Thankfully, youtube exists and anybody can create content.
Well shit. Been digging Frei and Finn's respective YT channels lately so I'm sure we will still be able to get our RK-esque fix there now. This is not the end but a new beginning. Nice montage BTW.
Thank you for the video. Don't stress over it, or your fans. You all, that have been a part of the show, you have entertained us for 13 years. We opened our browsers with excited anticipation of the next episode, watched every second , usually more than once. We dreamed of being able to do what you were doing. You answered the questions we ask ourselves, like how many leaf blowers do you need to make power. We got to see something we would only see as scrap metal, turn into the Blasphemi we see today. We all thank you for the bottom of our hearts for the joy and pleasure you have brought to us. We wish you all the very best in all your endeavors. We hope that maybe something can come out of this, with the hosts having complete control, but if not. We , your fans , will always be thankful.
Thank you Mike! You guys are THE icons in the industry! Whatever you decide to do, you’ll have a massive following! You’re creative content will drive sales, views, memberships. Follow your heart & inner spiritual voice! You all will continue to thrive and grow. Most importantly, maintain those relationships you’ve established, they’re invaluable - re-establish ctc w/ those folks! Look fwd to your future content & episodes! You & Frieburger’s innate ability to know what appeals to people like us out here is priceless and will drive your future successes! Truly excited for you guys - go forth & conquer!!
Love the show and the freedom of it. Cowboys to the end always !!! Keep your brain motors running because the world needs to see it 🤘🤘Vintage Evolution Skateboards in the house!!!
Down but not out! Two thumbs up, Fin.
Some of us will still be watching everything from each of you and looking forward to more
Fan of what you guys do, not for who you worked for and will support you all however I can.
Miss the Chaos already...😂 hope to keep watching your adventures on UA-cam.🤣
Watched every single one until we couldn’t due to geoblocking. Love what you do and keen to hang out again.
The collab was epic one of my favourites for sure
Wold love to see it
That tie in episode was epic! The economy car you built compared to the Roadkill gas guzzling tire frier was so hilarious!
Legends! MCM For lyfe!
I did too....
Whenever you boys get together, let me know and I'll be there!
That would be badass
Tony you were always right. They lost the shop!
💯%!!
HOLY SHIT ITS TONY!!!
And we will watch it!
Such an EPIC show and something that I thought would never end. Happy to call you guys friends and humbled yet proud that you called on me to be in a couple of episodes! How do I get added to the IMDB page too??
Roadkill will go down in history as one of the greatest automotive shows to ever grace our screens. Thanks Mike
I will forever rank it up with the original Top Gear and Grand Tour.
I 100% agree this show will always go down in history as one of the greatest shows in history, thank you Mike and David for the last 13 years
THE greatest, automotive show in history
@@605gritfitness9 Came down here to say exactly this - though IMO TG around the 1st Africa Special is peak TG and I rank RKG with that.
Not one of. In my opinion it is the greatest
Roadkill will NEVER die!! You and Frieberger ARE Roadkill. The show succeeded because of you guys. They might have taken the name away, but as long as you guys keep making videos, Roadkill lives! 😊
Amen brother✊️Roadkill 4 ever
Id watch these guys make pottery. The synergy of these personalities is rare.
You might be on to something: The Grand Tour was Top Gear until it got cancelled. How about continuing it with Amazon under a different name?
@@Cadollanwe can call it, Roadside Dead Things 😂
@@Cadollan let's call it 'The KillRoaders'
To this day and forever, my absolute FAVORITE episode on any of the shows, was when you and Freiburger stopped by your parents’ store on the road-trip in the Crusher Camaro. The unbridled reaction of your Dad when you pulled up to him checking the mail: “Sonofabitch! I’ll be damned! How are you, Son? You are the last person on the planet I expected to see today.” You could hear his smile before you could see it.
If you got nothing else out of Roadkill, Mike, that visit with your Dad was worth it all.
im so glad we got that video. I was so surprised he was at the mailbox when we pulled up.
That was one of my favorit episodes also ❤
That was a special one for sure.
That episode was cool
🐴🤠🇺🇲🙏mine 2 love their store
my son was 13 when you did the first roadkill nights in Pontiac at the M1, he was upset because we spent the first half of the day there and all he wanted to do was meet you guys ( you were his hero's), well it got a little late and we had almost a 2 hour drive home so we left, we actually passed you guys on the road, poor guy was in tears when I wouldn't turn around and pay to go back inside, now he is going on 22 and has built several "cars" and done tons of modifications to vehicles, he works for Roush as a mechanic at the ford motor company proving grounds in Romeo, long story short because of you guys his life is all about cars and trucks now, thanks for that!
Roadkill x Mighty Car Mods is one of the best UA-cam moments for me. That was the collab we needed.
That was so fun having those kids scare wet. Great great episode
I only got to see the MCM side of it.
Thanks for everything I’ve enjoyed before, and for what’s to come!
holy shit! thank you. :)
Your doing what many of us wish we could. Thank you.
You dropped this 👑
Did you just donate money? Didn’t know you could do that
All this means is that roadkill (Fry and Finn) is back on UA-cam. Hell yeah, welcome back!
Yup no more paywalls or geo location block out hell. Woo hooooo. Now they have build it better if anyone will follow

Much love.
PS. I also agree that the first incarnation of the Rotsun was the best :)
thank you for the comment and the inside look. :)
Hope to see you at a live event someday 🙏🏼
thank you for sharing your story. I appreciate it.
Awesome dad! Lucky kid.

Greatest automotive show ever thank you guys for all the amazing content and laughter threw the years!
Great post. Go ladies GO!
That's awesome! My mother and father were both mechanics. My mom taught me how to sew and how to rebuild an engine.
Mike, we did not stick with you for 13 years, You and Freiburger kept us excited for the next episode for 13 years. Best content ever. Thank you so much!
Thanks for Roadkill and Finnegan's Garage
thank u!
Thanks for keeping me sane and not feeling so terrible during my issues!
thanks for sharing your story and Im glad to hear you're doing better now.
I'm glad you're still here, brother. Stay healthy!

@laughingatlife7100 I would assume that there were some contracts that ended before this video was uploaded. They're free now buddy!
Finnburger?
“Finn and Fry's excellent adventures” that has to be the lamest name I’ve ever heard suggested.
@P2Feener305 Sorry it's not "reverse male cowboys" like you said you wanted, and "my turn at the truck stop glory hole" was already taken. Keep coming with the suggestions though, you'll get one you'll like eventually little guy.
We would all still watch it.
My 6 year old son has grown up watching all the Roadkill shows with me. I'm sad to see them go. Thank you for so many fun shared memories watching your shows. It helped me share the world of cars with him. He was calling out car models before he could count to 10. I really hope to bring him to a Roadkill nights event in the future.
thank u!

Stubby Bob would shine at a Cleetus event! Thanks for all the laughs and memories through the years gentlemen!

The Grand Tour and Roadkill dying in the same calendar year. What a sad time to be alive
You changed my life.
sounds rad...
THIS!
Putting a previously free and popular youtube show behind the Motortrend paywall is what started the decline of Roadkill in the first place and led to this

Thank you so much for Roadkill over the years! At least you and Dave can do collabs now!

There's no way they own those episodes, especially ones produced since the Discovery acquisition
Discovery are the ones that did the Geo-blocking.

That Finn laugh and David saying this is “garbage” makes me laugh every time. Thanks guys!
@@aidenmckenzie195 i couldn't agree more. They changed the automotive world in my humble opinion
You brand, film & merch it, we'll watch and support it!
Get the band back together!
Hey Mike.
Y’all played a real role getting me through the less-than-fun parts of my childhood. I’m 26 now and doing much, much better. Still as car obsessed as ever. Thanks for the help boss.
Thanks for the ride guys! We will see you on your channels.
What a beautiful tribute my guy, thanks for the laughs tears and memories.
We lived vicariously through you guys! A show about doing epic shit with your friends and loving every minute of it. "LONG LIVE ROADKILL"!!!!
From the ice drags in Wisconsin to the mini bikes / Muscle Truck...Zeus it back together to the music of my people..what an epic ride! Thank you Finnegan! You've done a killer job here on your channel, will always be watching!
Another victim of Warners rapid over-expansion. I don't see this as the end, I see this as the hosts and hopefully the show too, coming back home
I am sure this isn't the end of ROADKILL!
...victim of corporate GREED.
Stubby Bob sticking that trailer hitch....best day at work ever. I'm so sad he drives off into history along with Roadkill.
What comes next involving Finn And Fry will be even better, we aint scared.
Now it's our part to step up! Lucky for me, you got a merch store that has a lot of options!
Were going to miss it. But we got yall on youtube now. ROADKILL FOREVER
What a beautiful tribute to an amazing group of people.
You and Dave F need to just do your own thing. UA-cam can handle it, we'll all pay to watch it.
43:37 this makes me happy, coming from the world of reality tv, the crew that makes it happen often goes unnoticed, thank you for mentioning them.
