Hi Jeremy, thanks for tackling this question because I have been wondering about the effect that marijuana might have for our PD symptoms. I was given a CBD spray that you take orally but found it's benefits were very hit and miss. Recently I received a roll-on pain cream that contains both CBD and THC and it brings relief almost instantly 😅 I'm just a little old lady who's never smoked or drank or taken anything stronger than codeine, but I would consider other remedies if they were shown to bring symptom relief. Thanks for sharing your "verified" experience with us 😊
"a roll-on pain cream" - you mean a kind of ointment to put on your affected limbs? I've heard similar stories from people with arthritis, who use cannabis ointments for pain relief, although I find them somewhat hard to believe. I am not a great believer in ointments of any kind (sounds like snake oil to me) - but what do I know?
You are welcome, Jeannine! I really wish all the hype about marijuana was true, but for me anyway, it’s been a letdown. I’m glad you found something for the pain!
As an Aussie backpacking through Europe in the early 90’s I may have come across a bit of marijuana. I quickly learned though it mostly put me to sleep and like you now, I didn’t enjoy the way it made me feel. So I’ve avoided it ever since. But I could do with a bit of help with sleeping these days…..😜 Thanks for the topic, JMac!
@@JeremyMcdonald It was an amazing carefree time for me. Traveling opened my eyes to so much….I was constantly blown away. A beer or two was all the enhancement I needed!
Even without PD I couldn’t handle edibles of any kind. CBD doesn’t help me either, and I’ve tried many different ones. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for sharing this topic, I was wondering about it.
Anything for my listeners!
Good topic, I too have been asked to try it. But I don't think I will ever try it. "Bong" cracked me up 😂😂😂
Bong, bong, bong!

Thanks Jeremy I've been wondering if I should try it or not😊
I wouldn’t recommend it!😂
I use it and it just calm me down a bit and I don't get stoned as a rule and I don't use it every day
No judgement here!😎

@@alittlebitshaky That sounds amazing!
my PD brain now is too week for drugs. i thought mushrooms have BDNF, micro-dose may be. full dose i felt worse then drunk.
That sounds terrible!
Isnt cbd the option for you, so your PD gets affected by the CBD not your mindset/feelings by the thc
CBD has no effect. THC has a negative effect.
Hi Jeremy, how much sinemet do you have to take just to get through the day
I take 7-8 pills a day.
@@JeremyMcdonald that is 125ones 100mg lLdopa and 25mg carbidopa? I have actually lost count of how many I took today.
@@VictoryAlways-l6g Yes. 125mg
