    This was SUPER helpful 😃
    I have tried watching several other breakdowns of the olaplex line and, they were not helpful at all and filled with information and pictures that I don't need. Based on this video, I implemented number three and number five and within a week my hair is completely changed! Thank you so much.

    I have curly hair, natural, never used dyes. I used olaplex 0, 3,6 and 7. I love the 7!!!!! The rest is a big no no (so dry, hard and heavy). I guess is because my hair is not as damaged. Thanks for all the good info!

    Always love these videos and how informative they are, but was just wondering if you can elaborate on whether olaplex is necessary for everyone?
    A few people I know, my hairdresser included have explained olaplex as such.
    If your Hairdresser hasn’t used Olaplex no 1 and 2 in your colour service it isn’t necessary to use the olaplex hair care range to maintain bonds that aren’t there.
    Olaplex is a bonding system, Olaplex no1 is the bonds which is mixed into your colour it creates artificial bonds within the hair to prevent breakage, Olaplex no 2 is applied at the salon to seal in those bonds. You use Olaplex no3 at home to maintain these artificial bonds. If the hairdresser hasn’t put these bonds in your hair during the colour service then it is unnecessary to use olaplex.

    I’m curious what it is about 1 and 2 that is only available in a salon?

    I am a 69 year old lady who has received salon blond hi lites for 25 years. Now my hair is 70% natural grey and I find even when I renew my colour my hair is much dryer. My hairdresser told that as my hair is now predominantly grey that the texture has changed , but apart from formal salon conditioning is not offering me any other solutions. My hair looks really well when I get it blow dried but within 24/48 hours this dry unmanageable look takes over. What of the Olaplex products would you recommend. Thank you. Phyl .F.

    Please clarify, so when using no 0 and 3 together you leave it in for 10min only but if you are using no 3 only it's best to leave it in overnight?

    • @adorebeauty
      @adorebeauty  2 роки тому +1

      So No.0 applied to the hair for 10 minutes, and then No.3 on top for minimum 30 minutes. There's no research to say that overnight is best (I've just found that overnight works for my hair), so you can just leave it for 30-60 min and rinse after :)

    CAN ANYONE SUGGEST if I can just use No. 3 Olaplex and then use Cantu shampoo and conditioner, I’ve really frizzy/dry( frizzy is the correct word ig) curly hair. Also, I never colored or had any chemical treatment done on my hair in my entire life so it’s just medium damage but I wanna repair it

    Thank you! I have the whole set. I read somewhere that the number 7 can put a yellow stain on platinum blonde? Is this true?

    • @adorebeauty
      @adorebeauty  3 роки тому

      It shouldn't! I've been using it on my blonde hair for a long time and there hasn't been any staining :)

    question can I use Olaplex
    4 & 5 shampoo & conditioner on my bleached blonde hair for the dryness & breaking in my hair cause I was told by a sales lady in Sephora not too use these or it would damage & dry out my hair because it not my natural hair color an because its chemically treated.. also if my salon dresser doesn't use Olaplex 1 or 2 in my color treatment in the salon would I be able to even use these products 4-5 at all?

    I know some people won't understand this : but due to the current situation with Covid I lost my job and so I can't afford to buy the big whole set of olaplex🙈😔..I have curly flat,limp,damaged hair..if you could recommend one product which one would that be!? Thanks so much 💖💋😍💖💋😍

    • @adorebeauty
      @adorebeauty  2 роки тому +1

      So sorry to hear that! If you want just one Olaplex product, you can't go wrong with No.3 as a strengthening treatment. You may also be able to find shampoos, conditioners or protein treatments that cost less, from brands like Eleven, Evo, Davroe etc.

    Can I put No.0 in, wait 20mins then add No.3,
    then leave that until the next day to then wash with No.4&5???
    Or will that damage my hair?

    • @adorebeauty
      @adorebeauty  2 роки тому +1

      It shouldn't damage your hair! Give it a go and see how your hair reacts.

    I have bleached my hair in the past although that was about 4 years ago so I have virgin hair now. But I just feel like it’s so dull and lifeless, it’s not even that damaged (but I do have split ends), but its not shiny like it used to, it’s dry, dull etc. I really just need one Olaplex product to help with that but I’m not sure which one to get. I was thinking No.7... ? But I’m not sure. I’m not fond of oils.

    • @adorebeauty

      No 7 would be perfect! if you don't like the feel of oil in dry hair, then try applying 2-5 drops on damp hair and using 1-2 on dry for second day hair for that extra shine :) It's a super lightweight oil, so it's not going to leave residue etc!

    In a recent article you mentioned that you put the 3 in dry hair. Was that an error or can you use it on wet or dry?

    • @adorebeauty
      @adorebeauty  3 роки тому +3

      Oop you're right, there was an error in the article! It's meant to go on damp hair :)

    Do you recommend olaplex or kerastase for blonde damaged hair and not wanting it to go brassy?

    • @adorebeauty
      @adorebeauty  3 роки тому

      If you're more wanting to focus on the hair not going brassy then I'd suggest Kerastase's Blonde Absolu Range as you'll be able to use either the Bain Absolu or even the Masque to keep your hair looking and feeling amazing! If your top priority is more the hair health/strength vs the colour then I'd go Olaplex! (or even mix and match, Olaplex for your shampoo & Absolu Cicaflash conditioner for the colour) :)
