He is boring & poorly presented. Which Ugandan culture /tribe dresses up like this complete with cornrows. Then talking with his hands instead of stressing his points verbally ...I am disgusted.
@@SB-rw7oq Again going for form and missing the substance. Who cares about how someone is dressed when the executive is stifling the judiciary? And even if he dressed differently, you would still not be impressed because you simply don't like the way he is confronting those who have abused power.
Excellent interviewer: asking all the relevant questions & allowing the guest ample time to develop and articulate his thoughts. NTV will always be NTV. Where else on Ugandan airwaves can one find this sort of thing, of quality anymore? Nowhere else. It was a wise move that Isaac Ssemakadde, who has been cautious about some media interview invitations, granted this one. It was time well spent.
I have watched with brilliance and I must congratulate you prescilla and say you have grown to be one of the most epic interviewers when it comes to conducting interviews on matters rating to law and politics.... I enjoy your shows right from doha qatar.keep shinning
This is a great man, probably the best who has ever been at the helm of the law society. He clearly represents courage, temperance, justice, and wisdom. Semakdde , please keep it up, and thanks.
Bro, Uganda is full of clear-sighted fellows but they have decided to either focus on themselves or have not gathered the courage to stand as men and women to be counted. Game changes are not few in Uganda, they are there chilling and waiting for the right time to stand and contribute to Mama Uganda. Wait and see
@MatovuJob because those who hold political offices wield the power to make and implement laws that govern the country. Every body else is merely doing advocacy work. Even as president of ULS, the best he can do is offer legal advise to govt but on the sidelines nothing more.
Isaac Ssemakadde represents the very best of Ugandan lawyers trained in the last couple decades. Such courage, candor and calm in the discussion. Keep it up lad!
The chief justice is already seen as a political player. I’ll never forget how told Kyagulanyi to go to his plan B but expect no fair hearing from the Supreme Court
I have watched the first 10 Mins of this interview and I can see the President of ULS is very calm and eloquent indeed
😂😂😂 He is a typical reflection of the level of Uganda's current education system: below-par.
He is boring & poorly presented.

The reason why we have problems in our country is that such clear sighted fellows like this guy are very few!

They are deliberately kept out of the system.
Very few indeed.
Well articulated counsel
No shouting. No abusing. Pure class. Well done counsel

I thought he will jumped on tables but booms to see calmness in him
Ssemakade,100 men like you keep it up.
we need this man as an MP in Kampala ASAP instead of the likes of Nyeeko and other nothing doers of NUP.
Why do you think that somebody must or should need to hold a political position in order to play their role to change Uganda ?

What are the roles of political leaders, case in point MPs?

Salute Mr Semakade
Yes keep on bring him again and gain,i like his points.
Good stuff to watch as we break for the weekend...
How can anyone reason with a man who thinks that in a country of over 45 million people his son is most qualified to be army commander
Not only that, that the father himself is the only human being with a vision in the whole country.
No clear thinking person can take such a person seriously
I have enjoyed a humble semakadde interview
This is legal genius
He was the best student in Uganda at O and A levels . His brilliance is sometimes concealed by his eccentrics
@@MatovuJobdon’t reveal too much about him. You’ll get him in trouble
Thanks 4 the insight
This is a wonderful of person
Humility goes a long way
Power belongs to the people but not what?,Come again I'm not hearing it properly my lawyer.
Uganda is a blessed to have him standing in between fire of Politics and Judiciary.
Counsel is Presidential material.

Do not be surprised if Besigye is kept in upto the end of 2025
With that why are they still sitting???
I've missed the show.
the cj has lost value and has become apapet
Host him again soon
why the shaul always?
Meanwhile, "Kondo" is an English word? So, saying "mubbi kondo" is half luganda, half English? 😂😂😂

Which judiciary, Amin didn't have any arm of government.
You can tell that to the 7year olds.
How old are you ?
Then, what was Benedict Kiwanuka doing in his government? Do some research or ask if you don't know.
You man, executive, plus he just abolished parliament and downgraded the judiciary.
