But this is a great mod, and if you ever want to get a game with some of the guys that helped build it, let me know we would be happy to have you in the ranks for a fight.
Its not about battle time it messes with the moral system of the units, so it throws the game off. Also it is designed to be at its best in 3 v 3 or 4 v 4 battles, so you can end up with over 16K men on the field.

napoleon vids are awesome! one thing that i dont like about napoleon or earlier games is that its hard to see your own units in the woods. which is realistic i suppose. later games do a good job of making trees fairly see through. i love playing napoleon though for sure

The reason the mod is balanced around Medium funds and medium size units is because, for funds: Large funds will just meant hat whover has the Imperial Guard or Britain will will guaranteed. And for size: bigger than medium will result in wierd morale bugs. Units will route after only a few casualties.
this mod makes the game so realistic. bayonet fights would end so quickly- either you're winning or running(losing), cav was devastating, and everyone pooped in their pants when they fought up against elite troops of a nation who were known throughout europe (like old guard, everyone knew like apollo says "you do not mess with Z old guard")

"Downfall of Monarchs" It would have been.. but it wasn't. Infact after the war it basically became forbidden to have a democracy instead of a monarchy. It would stay this way until the mid 1800s Also I love the uniforms to ;) this style of warfare Gose farther back then Napoleon. Like the 7 years, 30 years, and 80 years war.

It is called "King'S German Legion". You tend to pronounce it as "King German Legion". Now, people may call be a grammar nazi but I can't help but point it out. Your content is fantastic, and the astounding fact that you take feedback and comments from your viewers in regards to your content seriously is what gave me the courage to point this out.
What Apollo should have done about the farmhouse was slowly deplete the troops not deployed in the farmhouse, and eventually surround the farmhouse, or force the highlanders to exit the house and support their troops, allowing an opportunity to enter some troops in. (And the fact that he faced highlanders (a great melee unit) garrisoned inside the building was his biggest mistake on the farmhouse)

Ok this one was epic. I liked how strong the Foot Guard was in both line and square. Any chance you could do an Austerlitz type battle where you play as Napoleon going up against Russia and Austria? I'd pay to see you play that out
The best way to fight cavalry in this game with units that cannot form square is to enable the "Stand Ground" ability (shield icon) and just let them sit their and keep shooting. Do not try to run your men away from a cavalry charge. Horses are Faster than men on foot. Therefore, the only logical thing to do is stand and fight.
PA, I always play this mod with a little extra rule. Whenever you reform a unit, or give it orders, it MUST be 3 ranks deep. It forces me to use reserves etc. It looks better aesthetically as well.

I think the best are the ones of the 18th century.
It looks brilliant, but my favourite visually remains 18th century.
This battle was won by line infantry. All of his other units failed, and the main reason he won was the fact that he had so many troops.

Great video but too be honest i think that large units are better even if it means longer battles :D
Its not about battle time it messes with the moral system of the units, so it throws the game off. Also it is designed to be at its best in 3 v 3 or 4 v 4 battles, so you can end up with over 16K men on the field.

I also never select more than 1 unit at a time when commanding armies, makes the battles look more chaotic instead of just one big ass line.

Yo Pixelated Apollo, you might want to check out Ultimate General Gettysburg, definitely the best Civil War RTS.
You should have had one company of elite infantry with your musketeers to storm the building, also where are the skirmishers?
