Let's Play Hardcore Minecraft 1.20.4 Episode 3! Today we continue a brand new Minecraft adventure and if we die, then it's all over! In this episode we build a massive custom library trading hall next to the starter house! We also build a cozy farm and axolotl sanctuary! I used Complementary Reimagined Unbound Shaders when recording this episode. I also use the resource pack called Fancy 2.0 GUI Overhaul. WaxFraud. the reason why it is raining a lot is because the weather cycle restart every time you sleep. in your world rain is coded to rain like 1-2 days of sleeping from a bed in your world
note that a weather cycle is different in every world not seeds
Wax I gotta say you might be the most efficient yet scattered builder in Minecraft. It’s crazy how you can turn a blank slate to the most detailed build I’ve ever seen without missing a beat!
10:02 “I’m not the best at interior design”. Your decorating skills are honestly the most impressive I have seen out of any UA-camr that does Minecraft Hardcore series.
I won't lie. The library looks great. Though I think what would have really made it pop would be some stained glass windows. I think the sunlight coming through the glass would add to the feel of the library or maybe a different structure with some stained glass.
Agreed I love the shader with stained glass bc it really makes builds pop and fee so real.
Absolutely, with bigger windows on the walls, birch trees to give a more clear aspect on the outside etc...

I was kinda hoping he’d put like a stained glass void effect for the floor (like glass that gets darker each layer you go down)
Ill never get over how amazing your cozy maximalist style is, it feels so different. Its like you appreciate every single block in this game, its how I strive to play.
This might be my favourite Minecraft library of all time! It's super cosy and epic.

you have such a distinct and unique way of building that i find really mesmerizing. so intricate its almost loud, kind of like those huge renaissance paintings where you never stop finding new things in it. and i find that even when i don't like a choice you make that it always ends up if not entirely symmetrical then miraculously cohesive and it is SUPER satisfying

this is the type of build i can only dream of making 😭 ive been playing more and trying to build stuff but it takes so long to collect materials and it's a little different with the bedrock version

Im so glad the hardcore series is back in full effect. You're my absolute favorite minecraft creator who inspires me to build in my own world after every single video. Big fan. 🖤
TIP: put a glass block one block above the spawner for the skeleton spawner that way if a skeleton spawns there it gets pushed off by the glass. For the spider spawner I would just use a slab on top.

As someone who regularly builds 80+ block tall builds, yeah, popping totems is a common occurrence. Also, many stacks of scaffolding are used, so I take them down when no longer needed.
Your librarian cathedral looks amazing. I love the wide open space and vaulted ceilings with skylights. Love of the grandiose and all. The red circles with a pointed arch was an amazing touch I might have to pinch for my own works.

Damn it’s crazy to see how much better he has gotten at detailing and building. He was already pretty good but even this is miles ahead of the third episode on his last series.

love the build, some details that you could add would be a big chandeleer hanging from the middle dome and/or a big organised garden around the library. but other than that i could never build something this big with that amount of detail.

Great build dude, on the subject of naming animals i think it would be a fun idea to gather 1 of every passive mob and name each one hardcore+mob name so like hardcore cat, hardcore cow, hardcore dolphin ect

Your videos really inspire me for my own minecraft world :-). I don’t like doing super big and fancy projects, I prefer just adding things little by little and watching as my world gradually changes, but there’s so many cool little details that you do that I enjoy adding to my own builds just to make the whole world feel that much more lived in.
So happy to see another WaxFraud upload! You inspired me to get back into playing Minecraft and also totally got me through my college finals this semester, so thanks man!

I think you should download the dusty decorations mods to really add to your builds. Great vid
Tip: You can get a lot of bonemeal if you go to the nether and finde boneblock
