What side are you on? I personally think leaving your stuff everywhere is dangerous for everyone. but also one person doesnt need the entire park to themselves. It's definitely a sticky situation
"hey mam can I move this so people don't get hurt?" "going to try some trickier stuff do you guys wanna watch" "no need to yell mam I'll try to skate on this side of the park" idk the lady is putting those kids in danger but just de-escalate with people
I had another skater do this to me a few days ago. I was trying to fakie 50-50 a curb next to a QP and he saw me skating it. I walked to get a drink of water and he sprawled his dinner and stuff right where I was grinding. I started to ask politely if he could move his stuff a couple of feet one way or another and he basically jumped down my throat cussing me out telling me I'm too old and to go anywhere else in the park. Some people are just looking for a conflict. I think the lady had been waiting for him to commit this huge offense of asking her to move again so she could have the police tell him he's in the wrong. At least in this situation the guy was safe, doing things within his ability even if close and no one got hurt.
They can chill on the manual pad if they want to. He can’t physically remove them or their stuff. They were there first it looks like. “But I’m a pro scooter rider and I’m streaming” doesn’t mean you get to clear everyone from the park anyway. It’s a good pretext to ban filming in that park, really. I wanna see him clear skateboarders instead of five year olds. He’s just a bully. Picking on those smaller than him. There was more children than adults and his demands are unreasonable! He’s bothered that lady before, because she can only call the cops. If it was a big man that could whip his a*s, he would have backed off.
i have had experience with this and local kids played on our ramp. one got injured and the council came and destroyed the ramp. we had no ramp. so fuck kids going around the park they will only get the place shut down if they get injured
The skatepark is for everybody, that wants to skate. Every official park has rules regarding, what behavior is to be tolerated and whats not. It is not a play ground. People sitting on ramps is not ok. People leaving the rides unattended is an absolute no go. Kids not being able to even ride a bike unsupervised are not material to ride around on a skatepark. They are a safety hazard to everyone that actually wants to skate and a safety hazard to themselves. Im so glad that kids under the age of 10 arent even allowed in the street section. And how is he even supposed to get hus turn if everyone has his shit all across the park, sitting on ramps and not paying fucking attention?
@@UndergroundHound absolutely true, but two things here. First, this wasnt the first tango he had to dance there and not even the first tango he danced with those moms. So his reaction, while over the top, was being taken out of context. Also that 60 percent of the rest was available. Nonsense. You do not have the right to block any obstacle on a park. Simply by the nature of the usual "wait your turn" policy you cant do that as you are permanently taking the turn. Manners are something to discussed here surely, but those moms were absolutely wrong. Thats not how you act on a skatepark and thats not what you should teach your kids in this regards.
@@thorben2228I totally agree with you sir. I grew up rollerblading, and used to go to bam margera’s skate park every weekend and the employees there always enforced no laying or sitting on the ramps unless the park is empty. No leaving your boards on the ramps on anywhere unattended. It’s all safety hazards. Even sitting on the ramps or sitting on the boxes or ledges..
@@thorben2228 Amen you tell this guy. i hate when non sk8rs gotta put in they 2 cents like they know anything about it. No part of the park should be blocked AND ANYONE SHOULD BE ABLE TO SK8 ANY PART AT ANY TIME WITHOUT IT BEING BLOCKED BY LITTLE KIDS
Those soccer mom Karen's are in the wrong. Your kid can go learn how to ride at a normal park with a playground. The skate park is so people don't skate the rails at places like where these Karen's work, their kids' schools, their front yard. But none of that matters if some ignorant loser sits & moves things onto where people are meant to perform stunts.
Bad take Dan. You’re so stuck on “he told them to leave” no he asked them to get them to get off the obstacles. All these moms just sitting around, kids sliding down on their butts and running in circles while all their bikes and scooters are randomly strewn about. How do you see that opening scene and then side with the parents?? It’s a madhouse when he shows up. He had every right to warn them that soon he would be using the park as intended and to please get off the ramps and boxes. He was nice at first though a little cringe, he was being real with them. The lady’s reaction and attitude is what set it in a bad direction. You can’t just let kids run around the park while you stand around in random locations where people want to ride. If your kid drops his bike either tell them to move it off the park or be a responsible parent and get it yourself. An abandoned scooter/bike/skateboard is an extreme hazard for everyone involved. The kids are not the problem as they don’t know better. It’s up to the parents to teach them how to properly use the skatepark with others of all ages and skill levels. Super low blow of the mom to say “get a job” “do you own a house and pay taxes?” Like really? She IS entitled and thinks having kids and owning a house is some kind of super power in society. Can’t believe you wouldn’t side with the skater/ pro scooter guy on this. Not everyone gets up at 6am to skate an empty park. And not everyone is okay with letting parents like this totally walk all over them. My local is always over run with little kids on scooters and bikes as well. At some point someone gotta say something cause these parents are not in the culture enough to know the etiquette.
Hey man. While I agree with most of the things you’re saying and I do say at the end of the video that I can see both sides of the story and it’s a tough one to judge. One of the first things said when the first adult lady asks, “what are you asking” He replies with “if you wouldn’t mind just hopping off the park” and also tells them to go and use the pump track instead. While you are right with the first thing he asks the kids is if you wouldn’t mind jumping off the obstacles. But that’s not what was said to the parents Then when they approach him slightly later in the video he said “please just get off the skatepark” As someone who deals with this type of situation regularly you have to let the kids use the park too. If the kids get hurt at the end of the day that is totally the parents fault and as I said in the video it’s like letting them play in a busy road. It’s not the kids fault in the slightest. I also spoke about the fact how it’s dangerous and obviously stupid to leave bikes and vehicles dotted about the place. However as an adult it’s just best to use a less busy side of the skatepark until the other people have finished doing what they are doing. If it takes getting hurt for the parents to learn then that is on them, but sometimes people only learn the hard way. I also will say the way the woman spoke to him is of course completely disrespectful and laughable she would even think like that. At the end of the day both parties are in the wrong but as the professional rider he should 100% know better and take the higher ground without trying to force them out or purposely riding right next to them. Personally I think the rider filming was purposely trying to antagonise because he knew it would make a more entertaining video. Just my opinion mate and I thank you for yours :)
if someone leaves their stuff in the paved areas of the skatepark it's definitely ok to move it to the grass. It's just unsafe to leave junk in the way when there's a better place for it. Grass is always best because people don't skate on grass, it's there for you to lounge and store your stuff.
Exactly. It is so simple to just be a nice human being and you get way better results from it. The guy in the video was deliberately asking for confrontation and he suffered the consequences
the skatepark is not a bench, a beach, or a daycare, it is above all a sports facility for specific sports (skateboarding, scooter, rollerblading, BMX...) By letting their children run and sit anywhere, these people believe they are within their rights, but will not hesitate to sue the athlete if a problem occurs (for example a skateboard that goes off on its own towards a child), it is unacceptable. Let them take their children to play football on the highway...
As an older dude skater/punk rocker from the 90s , now with kids. I get his first interaction with the requesting some room, but then he just goes into super passive aggressive behavior with an ego complex. The dude was just a prick who shouldn’t have approached the young kids at all but went straight to the moms and said hey would you mind yadda yadda . And then tried to be accommodating to both sides. him ridding so close as an intimidation tactic was so cringey. That dude went to that park looking to start something and get a rise out of people just because, no parent is going kick back and not defend their kids
I don’t see an “entitled scoot/skater” I see entitled parents misusing the skate park as a playground. What do you think would happen if a bunch of skateboarders took over a playground? You’d have parents screaming “go use the skatepark”. These are parents clearly being selfish assholes and don’t respect the real purpose why the skatepark exists in the first place. If the police showed because the parents complained about someone using the park for its intended purpose, hopefully the cop would be on the skater/bmx’er/scooters side. If this guy was an asshole he would’ve punted and threw the kids stuff off the obstacle not respectfully relocate them. Personally I think this guy is a hero and most of us wouldn’t say or do shit about it. Sure it would be more polite to be passive and just leave till the park was less busy. Being a passive pussee is why we have so many of the issues we have today. Ultimately I think Dan trolled us on this one 😆 or he’s become a big softy.
I'm learning to skate. At 41. And, whenever I'm in the skatepark - I just start warming up carefully. Tick-tacks, low speed kickturns etc. And all the mindful parents are getting their kids off the ramps straight away. Or the kids running away themselves. So, it's usually enough to show your presence and intentions to make the park clear to ride to your ability.
sorry but this is incredibly cringe behaviour from a grown-ass adult to incite in front of a bunch of children. park etiquette aside, there's other ways to resolve a problem without blind-face disrespecting the parents of these kids in front of them. like how is he not embarrassed with himself.
@@ShawnxEdge lmaoooo I don't disagree, but he still incited the conversation, putting the responsibility of de-escalation on him, which he failed to do, and then proceeded to berate and insult the parents of these kids in front of them. Regardless of how the mom's acted, that's a shitty thing to do from the perspective of someone who's postering himself to be the rational one, like if kids are involved, you have to handle yourself a little bit better.
And the blatant cursing in front of the kids was just wholly unneccessary. That makes me more upset than anything else, really. And the purposely brushing dirt near them, walking through the crowd, and riding very close to them, is just so dumb. Hes just asking for things to escalate. But the parents should have done a better job of corralling their kids, making sure they didnt leave their rides everywhere, and actively sitting on/standing near the obstacles. Both parties just couldnt let it go though 🙄😮💨
If you look through his videos, he is very supportive of the kids, gives out free stuff to them and helps with learning tricks. I don’t think it’s a bad thing to teach parents skate park etiquette. That said, the guy could deescalate a little more and the mom(s) could be a little more open about learning their way around the park.
it wasn't jus 1 person, there was like around 3 or more people. you can see the scooter kid talk to some skaters sitting down in the video. And when the officer comes and most of the children are not in the middle of the park, they start skating instead of sitting down.
He wants the parents off the court, but then when the kid falls down he calls the parents to help lmao. Dude, that's why they were hanging around to begin with. One of the kids can barely walk.
Yeah this is everywhere and i have mixed feeling's forsure cause you cant just takeover a whole skatepark and leave your equipment everywhere but it is for everyone.
sitting on and leaving shit on the park is a big no no but kids and their parents actually using it is fine, if of course they are actually using it. yeah theyre both in the wrong.
You have no clue if he's using the obstacles to scare them away or he's literally just trying to use the damn skatepark!!! It's pretty obvious you got a bunch of kids messing around on a really nice looking SKATEpark with mom's standing around and strollers on the thing and you think they aren't in the wrong?? Take the kids to the pump track or playground. None of those riders know how to use ANY of the obstacles other than to run all over the place and slide on the banks! How about instead of yelling and screaming at a guy who's obviously prepared to scoot around the park how about striking a deal with him and realize that it's dangerous for your little kids to be playing there........just a thought! AND take all the stuff that's just sitting in the way blocking obstacles and move them so everyone can skate! It's obvious to me that if anyone should be acting entitled I believe it's the mature scooter rider politely asking everyone to move while he rides the park, just sayin'!
I agree with Dan on both sides. It’s really hard to judge but him saying “you’re going viral” is pretty cringe. But leaving items on obstacles. Is very dangerous so I can’t decide.
these parents with their kids are way out of control. im not on either side but i see parents do the same shit regardless where they go. they let their kids run up and down peoples apartment complex, run up and down the aisles of a store, run up and down laundry mats where people are doing their laundry. not to mention the madness that occurs when a kid is on an airplane. kids have no concept of being quiet and turn everything into a playground. any parent that allows their kids to do this deserve to be confronted.
I mean if kids are in the park with the parents who are all oblivious and there’s a section like pump track specifically for kids who are younger then get tf out
Some people don't understand a skatepark is SPORTS FACILITY, and a dangerous one. They probably don't take skating in any of its forms seriously as something grown ups should be doing and think it's just for little kids. They probably don't understand what skating is in those ramps.
Scooter people always seem like that kind of person who never had to do any hard work in their life, and still act like they are better than anyone else!
when i was younger, I was learning how to ride a bike at a skatepark. The skaters were really nice and supportive, but the scooter kids.... And the teen bmx bikers.... God they were awful. purposefully ran into me, blamed me for them snaking, and even going as far as to shove my bike out of the park with me still on it when my parents weren't looking. Mind you, I was like 3-4, and had no idea how to even right myself on a bike yet. (mind you, i was in the corner on the flat.) But since then, I've hated those types of people at the skateparks. Even now as a newbie skateboarder myself.
Using the "i'm a professional" angle actually hurts his argument. If you're so "professional", go rent out a park for your training. If some pro football club just showed up at some random public park, they still don't have the right to tell all the kids playing in the grass to move so they can have a match.
At the end of the day the park is there for the PUBLIC. 80s skaters know that these parks are a privilege seeing as we had none. Share the park BROs...even when it's painfully annoying. There could always be NO park and I sure know how that felt.
That’s kind of a weird way to look at it. “There could be no park” you could say that about anything. If you showed up to a tennis court and there’s family’s treating it like a play ground, you wouldn’t think “well there could be no tennis court”
This guy is the ironic anti-poser skatepark scooter god. Watch out, make room. Skateboarders with light-up wheels (and adversarial karens) better clear it for here comes the scooter blaster himself. He’s streaming some very important shit. His true sense of purpose found. His dignity as a pro scooter rider and full-time streamer questioned AND tested. He is literally in his lane AND thriving off this shit. Doesn’t she know who he is? [only]The foremost authority on park scootering in all the world… which also happens to be exponentially more difficult AND respected than skateboarding, of course. But also many times more rewarding AND fulfilling… nobody knows scootergod’s real name or internet handle, he just appeared from a portal in space one day. 🥴
20:50 I beg to differ. If there are people sitting around and you got 10 young kids running around like it's a playground yeah I'm asking them politely to leave. And best case scenario is I get a good sesh in and the non-riders learn some park etiquette.
It's annoying, but I just try to wait it out, and work around it, it would be nice if every parent taught them to mind their surroundings, and share the space, but that is just not the real world.
There's a right way and wrong way to approach people, especially when there's a high probability of them being a Karen. This was definitely the wrong way.
even when the dude exaggerates the situation I'm totally on his side, it is like when some dudes are playing a soccer game on the field and you don't walk or play in between them, kids are using the skatepark like a playground, even when they basically can run, snake, sliding down or ride in the flat in any other place, not in the obstacles that were made for ride skateboards, scooters, BMX, roller blades, that "little" space was designed for that, that is the purpose of the skateparks
That woman is out of order in my opinion, but saying she's going to go viral is proper cringe. It happens at my local park all the time, young kids with no boards, bikes or scooters, sitting on the obstacles staring at their phones, or using the ramps as slides, it's really frustrating.
I side with the parents who are not Karens. The parents and scooter kids were there first and had every right to tell off this manchild. You don’t get to walk into a public park and tell everyone to move so you can use the whole park It’s obv overrun with kids, so he has some adult choices: wait, leave and come back, or be where the kids aren’t. The 2 skateboard guys at the very end of the park, I assume, we’re using the side farthest from the kids. I was kind of hoping they’d call him out a little, but it wasn’t their problem I do agree that they shouldn’t leave stuff on obstacles, but, again, there are 20 kids there. You’re not blasting through there, so the principle is moot But he’s a madchild and wanted to create an issue that was easily avoidable. And what would happen if he crashed into a kid or broke a kid’s arm/ leg? I’ll let you guess how that assault charge would go in court (not knowing Aussie law) None of us are the main character in this world. Just chill. Take a breath. The skate park will be there tomorrow. Be an adult
Totally cool that kids are using a park as intended. Just don't like when parents use it as a playground / Daycare. Dude is definitely antagonizing though. He's getting the response he wanted.
He was lucky there was no dad around there. he wouldnt have dared to make this kind of speech and entrance to a guy. and im a bit ashamed of these two skateboarders chilln on that bench on the quarterpipe in the corner. They were siding with him while the park in front of them was 80% empty....
Karen wants scooter boy to be ripping up the streets. Look legit. This is exactly why I don't go to skateparks. When cops roll up and tell me to move on when I'm skating Street with friends. Cops always go they're always building your skateparks. And we just say look where to old for skateparks and we don't ride scooters. Generally the cops kind of get it. And say hey well we don't mind your skating here it's just we've got a call and we're just doing our job. Where to send up going to another spot no skin off our back.
Yea that first one was a bit cringe, asking them to leave the park is kinda wild. Just skate something and try not to run into anyone and see what happens. If it doesn't work just explain to them the way skaters share obstacles and take turns lol. (Edit) O it's a scooter kid, this all makes so much sense now
Let’s put it this way. It’s no different than if the weather had forced him to cancel his stream. In fact, the park had a ton of 3-5 year olds in it running and scootering with their light up skateboards, and he still had space to skate, or scooter, whatever. What’s his point? As soon as he saw that lady he should have turned around and left, she called the cops on him before, for harassment!! I really wonder if he’s not treating others how he doesn’t wanna be treated. Which means he doesn’t really want respect, just wants to be a tyrant. If someone acts elitist towards me, I should be like “man that sucks I’ll never act like that”… rather than “can’t wait to be in a position of status to use it like a position of authority to treat some other kid like an elitist and make him not wanna come back here, like they did to me” we know pro scooter riders aren’t super popular. But you can still be a cool person, honestly. I don’t think this is for content, I actually think he’s just an ass.
this happenes all the time at our sk8 park and its the worst. parents not even watching their 3 year old walk around in the middle of the park, leaving their boards opr scooters or little bikes with training wheels in the middle of the park. I even tell my 11 year old he is not ready for the park, like at least ghet comfortable first learn how to ollie at least then go. Dont go and get in the way
It sucks, but if there’s a bunch of kids there, you just have to co exist, or come back another time. She was a Karen, but bro also made it a bigger deal than it should have been.
While you have a point Webz, think about it, this particular situation would make those parents not want their kids to SCOOTER, not skateboard. So this is a win! Lol ;)
Dude was having a nervous breakdown about getting that lady’s kids off the park, meanwhile there’s 40 other 5-year olds inside the skatepark. He clearly tried to make a point and failed. And terrible streamer content. Someone should tell him it’s not okay.
it's so annoying cause like he could have used this as an opportunity to talk to them about properly sharing the park and respecting the flow but from the very first moment he was so hell bent on being a stuck-up douchebag that Karen just returned his energy. Like we want those kids to have fun and use the park, that's how we get more skateparks built!!
Sometimes people bring their kid to the skatepark, when I was a kid the razor scooters were the fad. I remember buying custom transparent neon yellow wheels at the mall kiosk and swapping them out and going to the regular park and riding around. Or the roller blade rink place with the blacklights and cool music, I loved that! I always went during the day. But occasionally I went on a friday night and it just seemed like people were having fun. An adult would have felt more wary being there on one of those nights than me lol That was before skateboarding was in my field of vision. I wish I had discovered skateboarding sooner! But my point is random kids show up at the park in the evening and their parents quickly realize there’s a lot of big kids at the park or at least serious skaters. This guy arrived when there was only kids and tried to act like a big shot, talking about “i’m a pro scooter rider” lol… nope. Wrong is what you are. The fact that she had to call the cops on him on other occasions and him going, “you didn’t win last time” tells me he’s just an asshole. He didn’t have to upset anybody to make a point. Guys like this are just having a temper tantrum. He’s trying to be so disagreeable that she just gives up. Beefing with a ‘karen’ like this like it’s a thps mission. But he actually started it! Outside of asking nicely, you don’t really get to rearrange people (and their belongings) at a park so you can record. Dude doesn’t even look in control of his emotions to me, he looks like he’s gonna start crying or shaking or something, especially if he doesn’t get his way. The fact that the kid trolled him anyway, and they still had to call the police. You can’t be out here beefing with kids or their parents, because one day you’ll meet your match. And it won’t be pretty. Whether it’s getting arrested on stream or getting his a*s whipped. Some people think they can do anything they want because they have a couple of followers online.
11:23 dude no one cares what you would do at that park. The scooter guy wants to ride the entire park I believe he should be able to do that. He shouldn't have to worry about hitting kids bikes and scooters that are just sitting around willy nilly 🙄
He tells the cop “Oh no! She’s just having a karen moment” I think he’s an asshole. But do formulate your own opinion… Someone needs to remind him he doesn’t own the place, not even close. That’s pretty much a fact. I thought that ‘karen’ was pretty formidable! “Get a job”… “this is my job!!” whatever. She told him. “I’m gonna hit somebody” he says. If he’s such a pro he better not do it.
You can tell he’s entitled because he treated the cop like a buddy-buddy. He’s never actually faced consequences for anything. I was wishing they told him he would be arrested if he kept it up, or actually put the handcuffs on him. And if he would get upset and belligerent lol Since he thought he was so in the right. Idc if he’s right why’s he screaming at a 5-year olds mom. Loser. Not that interested in like “seeing his side of it”
Oh how I hate this passive agressive guys. And I hate to say it but I think he was the entitled Karen in this situation. Calling the cops for kids sitting on the box. 😀 Im glad you're calling out cringe behaviour Webz
You defo have some good point about him, but the way she came charging and started shouting, can't side with her at all.. ppl just need to learn to be chill again.. EDIT: Bringing the lil bike back is actually pretty crazy lmao
In my opinion the park is for anyone who wants to skate. If you don’t ride a skateboard gtfo! Nobody wants to lose their park because of idiots. I think at one point scooter guy goes, “he doesn’t even have a skateboard” and she goes “yes he does” and the camera pans down and it has four wheels, she disowned the scooter culture right there lol
This man's a clown. There's plenty of room. It's not a bowl or minramp situation where kids are using it as a slide and the potential to run into them is much higher. Maybe it is just because I started off street skating before the explosion of concrete parks everywhere, but just seems weird to me not just skate around if you can. Part of the fun is the flow and figuring it out. Just a weird mindset on this guy.
Way to take things out of context, he was actually helping teach some of the scooter kids and when he moved things he had already asked. He wasn't disrespecting the kids. Its definitely ideal to skate the obstacles they are standing too close to being in the way for no fn reason.
How the hell do you let scootering go to your head? This guy has maxed out his loser energy. There were so many reasonable solutions between him leaving without saying anything and him demanding that they empty out the park for him. He came here looking for a fight with literal moms and toddlers, I don't think it gets any more cringy than that.
If I was a scooter rider, I would be ashamed of this kind of pro. Like yeah, he can scoot but he copped an attitude on some little kids. I’d rather stay home than get caught being sour at the park. I had a dream a few months ago where I almost punched a rude ass kid lol my biggest fear. I don’t even think I would ever do that, it’s was almost portrayed like black humor. If random free skateparks can’t be a safe space for a 5year old at 12 in the afternoon then what the fuck is it good for. The ratio of adults to children using the park in the video means he was out numbered anyway, because everyone brought out the kids. He was being a nuisance to that lady and her children, or grandchildren, she looked kinda old! If he thinks they’re in his way and dangerous then don’t fucking send it, just to prove a point. He could’ve actually hurt someone, because he was acting out of spite and obviously fixated on this lady.
I think when your like 15 your ultimate dream is to beef with the Karen and get her to take her scooter kids out of “your” park but once you get a bit older your like eh I can go skate the many pad if there playing on the mini ramp
I think he’s wrong on the sole fact that a public park is not a studio… noone cares if streaming is his job. Pathetic. We know skateparks can be difficult even for adults. But you still have to be respectful of kids, paid parks used to be more elite but even now they’re centered on fostering a community for kids. This is the definition of an entitled adult. I didn’t like how he was scootering all aggressively near them. Like if he was about to land an nbd. He’s not a man. Imagine if that lady’s husband walked up at that moment and saw him whipping a scooter near his toddler. It seemed like he lost his cool (big mistake at a park), he could have just changed his line. Instead fixating on how he was gonna blast everywhere on his scooter while going viral. I think he was also ‘blasting’ the pipe lol
Im sure there are playgrounds around that area. I highly doubt those kids will be using any obstacles. Take them to an empty lot or something. I get that its public and for everyone but they arent using it for its intended purpose. This guy handled it poorly, but i side with him for sure. No reason for her to be such a b.
It is a bit of a problem.mums and kids all over the skate park, it's not a play ground. And it can also be dangerous have little kids all over the place, This bloke just Karen the Karen's . I can understand his frustration. But yeah he's a scooter rider.
Honestly unless your skateboarding gtfo. I get its a free society but really they need a little kids park for the groms to go too. Both groups cant really use the space effectively.
@@rafes8206u dont understand! If they dont listen is their fault! I have a daughter of 8 she loves to come with me to the park but she always runs behind me like “daddy, daddy, daddy” once i broke my elbow bcs i wanted to grind a down rail en she came running towards me on the end of the rail. I jumped of my board, hit her in the face and fell rlly awkward..we both were hurted so ofc i instantly went to her but when we got in the hospital i told her very carefully that that behavior is dangerous af
I agree, he is breaking the rules, and he's being a total cnt. I also think park rules should include an age limit per parks. Some parks for toddlers/beginers and other parks for more advanced. Kids and beginners don't understand park etiquette
I like how you aired on the side of caution and that probably will work in your favour but c’mon they had like a whole daycare worth of kids and they would of been the first ones having a go at him if he just started blasting and hurt someone else he did his due diligence and she just grew up never being told she couldn’t have something probably idk 🤷🏼♂️
What side are you on? I personally think leaving your stuff everywhere is dangerous for everyone. but also one person doesnt need the entire park to themselves. It's definitely a sticky situation
you sound like you're working too hard to go against him bro lol
and he didn't say you have to leave lol he asked if they can get off of the obstacles specifically
It's negative either way I'm a model and I do it for money
He didn't tell them to leave, he asked if they could go to a different ramp
Bruh you can literally see that half the park was empty, the parents were off to one side, he had plenty of space to ride other obstacles
They are both in the wrong. It was a petty situation all round. I honestly feel sorry for the cop having to deal with two babies.
One of the first things said when the first adult lady asks, “what are you asking”
He replies with “if you wouldn’t mind just hopping off the park” and also tells them to go and use the pump track instead.
While you are right with the first thing he asks the kids is if you wouldn’t mind jumping off the obstacles. But that’s not what was said to the parents
Then when they approach him slightly later in the video he said “please just get off the skatepark”
As someone who deals with this type of situation regularly you have to let the kids use the park too.
Really bad
if someone leaves their stuff in the paved areas of the skatepark it's definitely ok to move it to the grass. It's just unsafe to leave junk in the way when there's a better place for it. Grass is always best because people don't skate on grass, it's there for you to lounge and store your stuff.
I say this all the time "hey we're just waiting our turn and wanted to know how long are you gonna be using this park" and never had viral moment.
Exactly. It is so simple to just be a nice human being and you get way better results from it. The guy in the video was deliberately asking for confrontation and he suffered the consequences
the skatepark is not a bench, a beach, or a daycare, it is above all a sports facility for specific sports (skateboarding, scooter, rollerblading, BMX...)
By letting their children run and sit anywhere, these people believe they are within their rights, but will not hesitate to sue the athlete if a problem occurs (for example a skateboard that goes off on its own towards a child), it is unacceptable.
Fr 💀
I am a super punk rocker badass dude who smokes cigarettes and stays up past midnight and I agree
Word!

A group of moms bringing their toddlers to the skate park and folks think they’re capable of actually riding 😂
I agree with you 100%, im the same way bro. And scootering is easy asf its pretty gay. Maybe one day their balls drop.
sorry but this is incredibly cringe behaviour from a grown-ass adult to incite in front of a bunch of children. park etiquette aside, there's other ways to resolve a problem without blind-face disrespecting the parents of these kids in front of them. like how is he not embarrassed with himself.
@@mmeebbzz he tried to be nice and it just escalated maybe you missed that part. Also I can’t believe I’m sticking up for scoot 😆
This man makes fun of the little dude riding a scooter... then proceeds to ride a scooter lol.
it wasn't jus 1 person, there was like around 3 or more people. you can see the scooter kid talk to some skaters sitting down in the video. And when the officer comes and most of the children are not in the middle of the park, they start skating instead of sitting down.
That's how skateboarders feel about scooter riders.
I think it’s fine. Parents wouldn’t do this at a tennis court. I wouldn’t kick them out of the park entirely but I would ask for a section
He wants the parents off the court, but then when the kid falls down he calls the parents to help lmao. Dude, that's why they were hanging around to begin with. One of the kids can barely walk.
Swearing that bad in front of young children is disgusting behaviour.
Bro that was so aggravating, and so unnecessary 🙄🙄🙄
Yeah this is everywhere and i have mixed feeling's forsure cause you cant just takeover a whole skatepark and leave your equipment everywhere but it is for everyone.
sitting on and leaving shit on the park is a big no no but kids and their parents actually using it is fine, if of course they are actually using it.
yeah theyre both in the wrong.
He should have been arrested the second he said "professional scooter rider".
This video reminds me the benefits of patience. If you just wait a bit, a lot of inconvenience can be avoided.
these parents with their kids are way out of control. im not on either side but i see parents do the same shit regardless where they go. they let their kids run up and down peoples apartment complex, run up and down the aisles of a store, run up and down laundry mats where people are doing their laundry. not to mention the madness that occurs when a kid is on an airplane. kids have no concept of being quiet and turn everything into a playground. any parent that allows their kids to do this deserve to be confronted.
I mean if kids are in the park with the parents who are all oblivious and there’s a section like pump track specifically for kids who are younger then get tf out
Yeah, we don’t claim him
Scooter brad…. We don’t claim fucking SCOOTERBRAD. Your high… Dude we don’t claim you.
Dude would have watched his tone if Dad was there.
@@maxpower8429 the context of what you're saying, sure. Now the context of what he said makes complete sense
And best case scenario is I get a good sesh in and the non-riders learn some park etiquette.
there's more than enough space for him to ride until everyone leaves. He's clearly the problem here
It's annoying, but I just try to wait it out, and work around it, it would be nice if every parent taught them to mind their surroundings, and share the space, but that is just not the real world.
There's a right way and wrong way to approach people, especially when there's a high probability of them being a Karen. This was definitely the wrong way.
Dan Webz is the Scooterbrad of the skate community, so happy I got to see finna sb again
This is my opinion on the issue. Watching other peoples content and "commentating" about it is extremely lazy content and you need to go outside.
even when the dude exaggerates the situation I'm totally on his side, it is like when some dudes are playing a soccer game on the field and you don't walk or play in between them, kids are using the skatepark like a playground, even when they basically can run, snake, sliding down or ride in the flat in any other place, not in the obstacles that were made for ride skateboards, scooters, BMX, roller blades, that "little" space was designed for that, that is the purpose of the skateparks
You don’t get to walk into a public park and tell everyone to move so you can use the whole park
It’s obv overrun with kids, so he has some adult choices: wait, leave and come back, or be where the kids aren’t. The 2 skateboard guys at the very end of the park, I assume, we’re using the side farthest from the kids. I was kind of hoping they’d call him out a little, but it wasn’t their problem
I do agree that they shouldn’t leave stuff on obstacles, but, again, there are 20 kids there. You’re not blasting through there, so the principle is moot
But he’s a madchild and wanted to create an issue that was easily avoidable. And what would happen if he crashed into a kid or broke a kid’s arm/ leg? I’ll let you guess how that assault charge would go in court (not knowing Aussie law)
None of us are the main character in this world. Just chill. Take a breath. The skate park will be there tomorrow. Be an adult
Totally agree, man. Keep up the good work! Love your vids man!
I just leave when there are children that don't know what's going on.
I seen this one. I think All scooters even pro scooter riders should be banned from skateboard parks.
this happenes all the time at our sk8 park and its the worst. parents not even watching their 3 year old walk around in the middle of the park, leaving their boards opr scooters or little bikes with training wheels in the middle of the park. I even tell my 11 year old he is not ready for the park, like at least ghet comfortable first learn how to ollie at least then go. Dont go and get in the way
little kids dont belong at the sk8 park, its super dangerous for everybody
"I clock kids all the time......not on purpose, obviously"
I dunno, suspicious pause there dude
It sucks, but if there’s a bunch of kids there, you just have to co exist, or come back another time. She was a Karen, but bro also made it a bigger deal than it should have been.
While you have a point Webz, think about it, this particular situation would make those parents not want their kids to SCOOTER, not skateboard. So this is a win! Lol ;)
This was pointless but meh.
Dude was having a nervous breakdown about getting that lady’s kids off the park, meanwhile there’s 40 other 5-year olds inside the skatepark. He clearly tried to make a point and failed. And terrible streamer content. Someone should tell him it’s not okay.
This is crazy
it's so annoying cause like he could have used this as an opportunity to talk to them about properly sharing the park and respecting the flow but from the very first moment he was so hell bent on being a stuck-up douchebag that Karen just returned his energy. Like we want those kids to have fun and use the park, that's how we get more skateparks built!!
Skate parks are not for tiny kids to play in
These parents are entitled imo
Why not? They like ramps too.
An adult would have felt more wary being there on one of those nights than me lol
That was before skateboarding was in my field of vision.
Some people think they can do anything they want because they have a couple of followers online.
just ask them to not leave the scooters laying around. this guy was just a jerk
But do formulate your own opinion…
Someone needs to remind him he doesn’t own the place, not even close.
Loser. Not that interested in like “seeing his side of it”
Pretty easy to just find your own spot and pick some tricks to practice that suits whatever obstacle that's free
Oh how I hate this passive agressive guys. And I hate to say it but I think he was the entitled Karen in this situation. Calling the cops for kids sitting on the box. 😀 Im glad you're calling out cringe behaviour Webz
He didn't call the cops, the Karen did.
It makes me mad because he didn’t have the same energy when the cops arrived. Gotta be consistent…
Because the cop wasn't being a Karen lol
You defo have some good point about him, but the way she came charging and started shouting, can't side with her at all.. ppl just need to learn to be chill again..
EDIT: Bringing the lil bike back is actually pretty crazy lmao
In my opinion the park is for anyone who wants to skate. If you don’t ride a skateboard gtfo! Nobody wants to lose their park because of idiots. I think at one point scooter guy goes, “he doesn’t even have a skateboard” and she goes “yes he does” and the camera pans down and it has four wheels, she disowned the scooter culture right there lol
Oh no it’s a scooter rider 😂 now I’m not on this guys side. Dude you should also leave the park. Go do your fly outs somewhere else

This guy is why cities get rid of skate parks
He knows damn well that park was built for skaters anyway lol we call this punching down.
7:09 parents didnt even have the helmet on right....
I think he was also ‘blasting’ the pipe lol
neversoft logo tattoo lmao.btw, the park is not their backyard so they cant drop their stuff in a middle of a mannypad
Im sure there are playgrounds around that area. I highly doubt those kids will be using any obstacles. Take them to an empty lot or something. I get that its public and for everyone but they arent using it for its intended purpose. This guy handled it poorly, but i side with him for sure. No reason for her to be such a b.
Had respect for this channel after this tho I just can’t bring myself to have respect for you as a content creator
its not that deep g. as i said in the video at the end. both are just as bad as eachother
You’ll never come out as not a jerk. Just let them use the park and go around them. Added obstacles. Learned this several times in London.
i dont understand why you were in any way on her side lmao
It is a bit of a problem.mums and kids all over the skate park, it's not a play ground. And it can also be dangerous have little kids all over the place,
This bloke just Karen the Karen's .
I can understand his frustration.
But yeah he's a scooter rider.
Honestly unless your skateboarding gtfo. I get its a free society but really they need a little kids park for the groms to go too. Both groups cant really use the space effectively.
i will just skate, and when i keep falling n launching my board in their direction they’ll understand.
and you'll still feel like shit when some kid gets hurt, grow up
@@rafes8206u dont understand!
He heard no and had a hissy fit. Seems like an entitled spoiled child who rides a scooter.
I'm with Dan on this one.
Are there professional scooter riders...? 🤤
