      Omega Productions its possible to have self driving ambulances now that technology is already used en masse the only issue with it other than budget is liability. So far there have only been 2 self driving vehicle collisions and both cases were operator error the first google accident was an oncoming driver not paying attention the other was a tesla driver that overestimated what he could do in driver settings. If a human driving ambo got into an accident thats already a lawsuit but you add on a self driving ambo and that just a shit storm. Then of course the fact that a fully equipped ambo costs around 250k and a self driving ambo unequipped would cost anywhere from 300k-500k

      Where is this money coming from? They barely want to pay EMS workers

      Currently upper body Ncis level 3a soft body armor is readily available. Safe Live has a concealable level 3a plus that is handgun and rifle rated and impact and stab resistant.
      Self driving cars are about to be huge as major car manufacturers are getting into the game.
      The wrist pad and ai might take the longest to form but will be possible in 20 years

    We've been using Hover mattresses for almost a decade. Fancy diagnostic tools are no substitute for sound patient assessment and good clinical judgement in patient care management.

    So basically we don't even need EMTs at that point.

    So we can have color changing shirts and a self driving van chassis box truck, but we can't have a fancier cot or maybe something more nimble than a giant straight truck?

    not much of this will ever happen anytime soon. all those things cost money. plus slap medical on it and just triple the price tag. this is all money agencies aren't willing to spend.

    can tell you right now I'm not trusting no matter how goo the technology is, not trusting a self driving ambulance...... i will be driving it at all costs or if I'm assessing the patient, my partner will be driving.....

    I'd just be happy with wireless systems so we can do away with cardiac leads. Bluetooth electrodes! Maybe when somebody asks for some cricoid pressure I can just respond "no need, I've got an app for that"! Better than asking which cupboard they keep it in Hahaha!!

    • @JohnDoe-yq5bd
      @JohnDoe-yq5bd 6 років тому

      Delaney Goings like the self driving ambo alone would cost the same if not more than a fully equipped fire engine that costs about 750k, a self driving unequipped ambo would cost around 500k alone then you have to outfit and equip it that brings it to around 7-800k

    Okay, this is awesome for a futuristic MOVIE! All this costs money...in the real world we can't even get updated or newer rigs, Lucas machines on all ambulances let alone full power stretchers. LMAO...this video is a good joke.

    Lmao I love how the “hoverboard” is just a backboard/spine board which usually do more harm than good (obviously there’s certain situations in which you might need to use one)

    I don't get it a sticker to get your blood pressure I'm going to EMS School I've been a CNA and even if I go to the hospital for small ailment most of those don't even trust the electronical once they do have so what makes you think the sticker will be even better
