I got the rode GO II to mount it on my 360 camera using the invisible mic bracket. However, I do not want to make interviews type of shots. I’m a videographer that shoots parties and events so I wanted something similar to a shotgun. In this case should I mount the transmitter or receiver to the bracket on the 360 camera and keep the other one in my pocket so as I record better audio with the camera footage for better editing workflow?

Thanks! Really good to see good options side by side, rather than searching for info across videos and reviews, when most have interests in some or are actually flawed when you invest. I never heard of a lens pen either, cheers!

Amazing video. Really shame Insta360 doesn't sell any ND filters. Any rumors about them? I'd love to use this camera professionally, but the "Auto" setting definitely isn't PRO.😅
I’m not aware of a mic that does that - I usually do it via the camera but with the 360 cameras you are very limited as to how much you can reduce the level. Sorry I can’t help more
@@EatSleep360 The rode mic pro has a little minus -10 dB on it but it's only really usable on a DSLR cold shoe. I was looking into the rode wireless go and they seem to have an adjustable gain on them so hopefully they work 🤞
I couldn’t find the invisible mic bracket at all anywhere its sold out and not available, really sucks and now I gotta try to model and CAD it myself then 3D print it and hoping that my copy shape of the product works good and invisible!
There are bunch of Dive cases now available for this model, wonder if you have tried any. Also any thought on the lens protectors, can see some on Amazon
I haven’t tried any dive cases sorry. With the lens guards as they’re from Amazon it’s easy to try them and send them back if they suck. The stick on ones will probably be better stitching but when you don’t need them you have to remove them and replace the sticky pad every time. Both will affect image quality but mainly in harsh sunlight. Take a look at this video to give you an idea (different camera but same principle) ua-cam.com/video/7aq6yqHNUvg/v-deo.html
I’m a bit confused. I have a Gopro cam with lots of accessory mounts (helmet mount, chest mount, bike mount etc). Some people claim the mounts can be used with a Insta360 One RS but Insta told me they can’t be used. What’s your experience?
They can ALL be used with the RS as the RS has finger mounts the same as the GoPro. You can buy cheap converters to convert finger mount to 1/4” thread as well if needed for other cameras.

Great video, thanks. So, how do I connect my DJI Mic (2 TX + 1 RX + Charging Case), Wireless Lavalier Microphone with this camera?

Some really great accessories, I haven’t seen in any other „standard“ accessory video yet!

No rumors from Insta360 - there’s a chance that a company like freewell would make some but I haven’t seen anything

What kind of mic would you recommend for shooting event where the sound is 120+ dB ? Is there any that lets you reduce the dB on the actual mic ?

Yeah it’s so annoying that these smaller accessories are so hard to get hold of - could try Aliexpress

I don’t think there’s an official insta one but there are some available from third party sellers

Hi, new sucriptor here! What about diving housing for Insta360 ONE RS 1-inch 360 edition?? I couldn't find any video about it.
Thanks for subscribing- take a look on AliExpress I think they have one on there - I haven’t tested it so look at some reviews 👍

Is there any ND Filter Lens compatible with One RS one inch?
very helpful!

Apparently I can't charge my battery independently. It works fine if I connect the battery to the camera though.
You should be able to - contact Insta360 and see what they say. Maybe try a different cable and a different charge plug as well just in case.
