I received a v1.42 with 9 functions, all listed in the instructions if you are interested in seeing. However even after programming semi to semi it fires a long burst, then a long beep. What does that mean?
hey, loved both of the videos you made about this MOSFET, can you tell me if it'll fit in a retro arms and g&p gearbox shell? and does it work with an 18:1 DSG m170 22t pa or 28 tpa motor and if it'll detect helical gears. thanks in advance.
If a gate aster fits this will fit. And it uses a switch to detect the sector gear via the sector cam so yes on the helical. For the dsg, i did run some tests with the v1.3 but that didn't hold up very well. The v1.4 is waaaaay better and that built doesn't sound stressful. It's something to try out, but i haven't done so yet
@@callsignprofessor I tried in 3 replicas having the capacitor version and i cant get precock to work. I tried pretty much in every position 2 to 15 beeps, but i cant get any difference, I tried a 7.4v battery to slow downd the cycle, and still no difference. Maybe there is a programming error?
Hi i have problem with t238 ver 1.42. I buy two unit and first use to my m4 cqb gun and all work fine. Second unit i put into other v2 gearbox, in the same type of connecting like first one, when i plug 11,1v i hear 3short beep (is ok) but when i pull the trigger replica shoot always 3shoot on 100:200 then stop and hear one long beep, then i need wait a sec and can shot again.. It not matter it is single or auto always is doing the long beep. I can chose programming option but i can't change that, i try another motor, lipo and not work, mayby problem is in gear 100:200 ??
Yes the ratio seems to be the issue but you could check the sector switch to be sure. Sounds like it isn't detecting it or there is a short. Either way the mosfet is protecting itself from something.
@@callsignprofessor You have right, unit can't detect sector switch they barely teach they. Unit look good. I use split gearbox V2 8mm retro arms and big dragon 100:200 gear.
I don't know if you solved it yet, but it's a warning against over discharge, it's probably just a matter of recharging it fully, or changing the battery settings to the correct voltage
I have read that the V3 version of this mosfet has Aug mode perhaps this is option 7. AUG mode means slight trigger pull is one shot full trigger pull is auto. Option 8 sound like AK mode seeing AKs have there selector lever switched where half mode is full auto.

I do my own trigger pull mod (set screw under the trigger) so i always adjust it to my needs. but you can spam the trigger at the microswitch its contact point. So yes you have improved trigger pull
Hi, can I ask u to screen shot the manual in English as I get the Chinese version. I'm having trouble with my mosfet currently.. It keeps beeping and when I press the trigger I get 5 burst and it starts to beep again

Their should be a troubleshooting manual in your package. Sounds to me it protects itself from overloading so maybe there is a short in your system or shimming is too tight or the friction in the system which causes the motor draws too much amps. What setup do you have? Gears, motor, battery, spring, joules?

I wouldn't recommend such a low gear ratio with that strong of a spring. Gears multiplies torque more than tpa on a motor. Im guessing it would technically but you'll overstress your system.
That was my and someone's assumption as well but since it only has 1 beep it only has 1 function so no 1 beep=on 2 beeps=off. I'll experiment with this some more but good thinking!

Did you remove the mechanical safety from the gearbox? It uses the mechanical safety to keep the trigger from being pulled.
@@callsignprofessor no I left the safety. But it's dead now. I don't know what happened. It was firing then just stopped. Now nothing.
Option 7&8 are for Mosfet of Gearbox Ver 3. Option 7 is for Aug trigger; Option 8 is for selector type G36 or AK

I have the v1.41 (the one with the capacitor) , i can't get precock to work on it, v1.42 works fine (no capacitor), is there something different?

Its a metal one, also used a cnc aluminium.
You don't have to buy a new one, anything will work, since it's a pressure switch that doesn't need any metal in the trigger to make contact

You break/remove the front sling mount. Then you remove the screw from the front grip and just slide it onto the rail and reinsert the screw.

It's been too long so don't remember but it's a weak part that makes noise and nobody uses. But it's up to you.

On version 2 i do it through the gearbox right under the trigger. Version 3 depends but mostly through the trigger.

Yes, but it doesn't offer options. It only beeps once. Option 2 should be "sensitive", but it never gets there.

Ik bouw ze vaak in de ICS splits, de video van de optical is een ics gearbox. Je hebt alleen de unit nodig
