- Monster High drop a bomb and I want to add the hype that surrounds the fans and the doll community right now.
Due to requests that I have been receiving, I present to you the evolution of Monster High Doll Commercials. I included the promotional videos of Zombie Gaga, The Skullector Pennywise, and The Grady Twins dolls. I hope you'll like it.
Monster High is an American fashion doll franchise created by Mattel and launched in July 2010. The characters are inspired by monster movies, sci-fi horror, thriller fiction, and various other creatures. Monster High was created by Garrett Sander, with illustrations by Kellee Riley and illustrator Glen Hanson.

Lmao, I remember seeing the Freaky Du Chic and Freaky Fusion commercials, and I wanted them so badly. My ex bf ended up getting me Freak Du Chic Frankie for my birthday, and I still have her to this day.

Fr now monster high is destroyed. They could of kept old monster high and add new monsters like lesser known monsters like werehyenas for example

You can really tell when MH downgraded to become "friendlier" and not "scary" to please the parents complaining about that to Mattel.
The first commercials have an edgier, darker and fiercer look and sound, while towards the middle of the video, the commercials become super sweet. soft and preppy sounding/looking.
The new soft and friendly look completely destroyed what MH was originally supposed to be.

Agreed! The old Monster High had dark themes/topics and amazing and super important messages, but it still was made for children and was family friendly, funny and entertaining. The fact the kids loved them and the parents were the ones that hated the dolls is really sad.
Parents sometimes need to shut the fuck up and be put in their place. What do they expect monster dolls to look like lol princesses?
Omg, I just can't believe how creative this line was, how it was able to recontextualize some classical doll features, like mermaids, horse girls, and color changes and even light up and singing features.
They turned making custom dolls into this mad science thing and it was amazing

Now that they are rereleasing the first wave dolls in 2022 but with just a little bit of an upgrade, they should totally remake the original commercial they had like in this video! Even though they don't have Cleo or Ghoulia, or Deuce.
