With the partially pointless weapon reworks that’s been happening, feel like the axe might get ruined from it. It doesn’t need a change, but it probably will be changed to add “variety” to the weapons

At this point I think the axe rework is getting thrown in the list of things that will, but never will happen. After the chainblades failure I think they realised how careful they have to be when balancing stuff. And especially when so many people already like the axe. The sword rework was amazing though, I loved it. But no amount of reworks could help against the inevitable burnout I got from grinding content for next to no actual new content. If they managed to make at least one more gamemode and some kind of proper material/money sink, like a housing system, I think they might have reached the point where they would have started gaining players again that lasted longer. I know I can only play the same games for that long at a time before needing to move on. At least if there are no additional good side activities like Gwent or any of the many minigames of Final Fantasy 14. I would have loved player housing or even just fishing in Dauntless (which was an actual almost released feature btw). Just something else would have kept me in the game much more.
I hope that one day they can finally address Valomyr's terrible hitboxes. Every time I see it on the map, I avoid it for this sole reason. Especially the laser attack where it's a 50/50 chance if it will register and hit you or not.
3 players from your guild need to complete the level (at the same time) for it to count as a leaderboard placement. So you’d all have to be playing together
Not sure if you respond to comments. But I recently got back into dauntless. My question is: Are there ideal escalation settings within the lantern upgrade tree for each escalations? I can't seem to find a "meta" recommendation for best damage output
They would be in a few different videos of mine, but i believe there is a 99% updated version for each escalation. Youd have to look back to radiant esca release for that one, and frost esca release for the others
I'm bingeing Wild Hearts myself big improvement from Dauntless, even fought it's iterations of the Gnasher and Torgadoro and was not disappointed very deadly. Although I favor the chicken since is uses butt slams, drop kicks, flying kicks, etc very fun opponent
