I normally use a swivel to join the mono and braid, but my friend uses an FG knot and has more length mono to fight the fish with, how do you go about it ?

@@farshadslandbasefishing on my last trip my mate got smoked on a 37-45kg cts gt fight with a 20000 saltiga. He didn't stand a chance so hopefully I don't hook one that big. It's all part of the fun though.
