At this point it’s clear that Movies and GT are DLC now. Makes sense, this is the first game that can actually use the Super characters without them being post launch dlc years down the line.

I just want the game so I can play it competitively. But my biggest gripe with the game will be customizing a button layout so I can play the game in a way that allows me to punish players for not being able to play the game the same way I can play it, skill wise and and button layout wise. And I hope the game is competitive enough to hold my attention until they improve the game mechanics via an update (and hopefully they don't remove or nerf non-broken game mechanics to make it more accessible for casual players, like how CC2 did with the Ultimate Ninja Storm series) or Sparking Zero 2 comes out. Oh, and I'm definitely willing to wait an extra month to play the game until the PlayStation 5 Pro comes out because I don't want to play it on the regular PS5.

If you go off of Characters, BT3 is the better Game, however the Storymode of BT2 was GOATed 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Idk know bout that I think goku would be on par or slightly weaker than final form you gotta think super saiyan is a massive power up frieze final form’s power level was in the millions and goku got his ass beat twice before he got up to that level so if he trains after defeating vegeta he’ll at least have mastered super saiyan like he did in the cell saga

Nah, the way TSO_Sage described the controls for Sparking!/Tenkaichi, that ain’t it. If my memory serves me for the playstation 2 era, it’s not a dedicated button like Xenoverse is where there’s heavy and light attacks. When you start with the melee button, you can mix however the hell you please to teleport, rush at, or slam down your opponent.
Cause usually the top button like the triangle can be used during melee combat but it ain’t dedicated to melee like heavy attacks in XV, it’s primarily Ki Blasts.

Well, to answer your question: Xenoverse has a dedicated buttons but you can mix with just like any other fighter. For example, on Xbox controls for the regular buttons, which I use; X button is Ki blast, B is Basic/Light attacks, Y is Strong / Heavy Attacks when held, and A button is to simply jump/fly. FighterZ uses a similar premise but it’s a 2D fighting game, it uses an entirely different structure of controls and it’s not my focus.
For the Tenkaichi series, on a PS2 controls: Square is your Melee, Triangle is the basic Ki Blast, Circle is Guard / Teleport, and X is to Dash. However, when you’re in close quarters combat, you can utilize the Triangle button but ONLY when it’s needed for a Heavy Attack like to either make a quick attack or to *stun* and/or *slam down* your opponent and can’t be used for long combos like the XV series does. However, it’s entirely possible to extend a combo in MAX mode, which is challenging to accomplish within Tenkaichi’s standards.
TSO_Sage is worried about how a single button could affect the framerate of the game due to trailer as he put it in paraphrase, “One push of a button and a character just does a 5 piece combo and fucking up the frames due to the smoothness.”
So, to me, the button logic he presented made no sense to me. I understand his worries about it in the framerate side of things, but to me that’s not how it’s gonna be in the controls side of things.

@@Fuuploobope broly and Vegeta ssj3 were both in raging blast 2 so it's not like it's impossible. Stuff like that and ssj2 future Gohan would actually make sense as a what if, especially if the what ifs are just one off fights or very short arcs/missions.

3 is objectively better gameplay wise than 2. 2 had the better story mode but the gameplay in 3 is MUCH faster and more fluid from an objective standpoint. There’s no discussion needed it’s just factual
