Business Tax Extension Form 7004 must be filed by March 15, and once it is processed by the IRS, you will be granted an automatic 5 or 6 month tax extension depending on the business type.
Gather the business data the IRS requires for you to file a tax extension Form 7004: the business name, address and Tax-ID/EIN. Make sure your information matches what the IRS has on record.
