Nobody can become financially successful over night. They put in background work but we tend to see the finished part. Fear is a dangerous component, hindering us from taking bold steps we need in other to reach our goals.

Only one thing I don't understand: Why does the amount subjected to Basic Rate taxation (£37,430.00) differ from the one subjected to plus Class 4 National Insurance contribution (£38,092.00)? How is the latter calculated?
It helped a lot. Thank you

Hey, am in a similar situation did you make under your personal allowance by any chance for those 3 months?
@@tripleggg4786hi sorry what do you mean? I completed my tax and everything came back fine so I’m glad I did it myself. I did make anything for myself in the 3 months as my outgoings were more then what I took in as I had days off from my pregnancy etc
Thank you so much.

Thanks a lot! Reading it right now. I'm a Canadian just moved to the UK, there's so many differences between Canada (Quebec) taxes and UK taxes!
Interesting! I bet there are many differences. If you need help please email us at info@tax2u.co.uk
Thank you very much
Thanks very much
Thank you so much for your video. May I know which section should we choose if we have overseas saving interest from the bank to be declared?
Thanks
Thank you 🙏
You’re welcome 😊
Great video, thank you very much! I have the following questions
Investment interest as income:
If it is invested only but no gain realised on them (still on the investment account and did not touch since) do I need to indicate that?
The money invested in stocks, futures, etc.. I see gain and loss on them but everything stays on the investment account, nothing realised yet.
Investment as expense:
if I invested money in the 22-23 period is it count as an expense?
(Eg: unit linked insurance (for pension saving purposes), or property fund saving for long term (to buy a property in 10-20 years later)
Or the bank`s invetment account where I can buy stocks.
Cash back on black friday offers. Is it taxable?
Refunds from shopping (damaged item, or discount)
refunds from post office lost my parcels what I sold online and I claimed the insurance for loss
Import/export online buy and sales
Do I enter these as normal expenses right? Or is there any additional work with these invoices?
(Eg: claim back custom fees, or any tax related to import/export)
Thank you very much! Do you pay Nin contributions together with tax or separately?
I have a full time employed job, and I also run a small self employed business on the side that I am trying to build. In 2022/23 my side business generated £2,213.37 gross income. My expenses for that year were £352.14. Is it better for me to enter in £1000 for trade allowance instead of declaring my detailed expenses in order to reduce my gross income, and thus then pay tax on the reduced gross income amount? From what I understand from your explanation I think this is what I can and should do. Many thanks for any help and thanks for the video
Amazing vid thanks. So if I use cash basis I do not need to note my expenses as I would get the 1000 tax free?
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can actually sleep tonight! 😅
I am glad it helped
I am a full-time employee. But always go to an accountant for a tax return. Could you do a video of how to do a tax return for people like myself. If you already have dont it, can you post the link.
Thank you
Hi, thank you so much for this video! You are a lifesaver!! I am not sure if this is the correct place to ask but I have accidentally put X in the section "If any of your businesses received coronavirus support payments (such as CJRS) you must put ‘X’ in the box to declare that they have been included when calculating profits in the period of this return" even though I have never claimed or received coronavirus support payments. Will this be a problem?
