Husqvarna Viking 2000 good for sewing leather?

1953 is incorrect. This model was made between 1965 and 1966. The green models 19, 21 etc were made from the '50s until the mid '60s.

Even more correct, these original 2000 machines were made from 1961 to 1966, when the 6000 series was launched.
