When you choose print label at the post office, will a QR code bar code be sent to your to phone or email address to print at the post office?
I ask because I don't have a printer.

I’m a letter carrier and I would definitely recommend putting tape over the bar code. Doesn’t effect the ability to scan and gives it extra protection if it rains

I wouldn't recommend putting tape over the bar code. I have done this before and sometimes it causes an error to their system
@@cyperknight9182 if it’s clear packaging tape there will be no problem. I am a letter carrier I can promise you that. If the barcode gets affected in any way, the tracking code will still be legible
You should use self adhesive shipping labels

Very helpful video. I'm going to start selling some collectibles online, and the shipping part of that completely baffled me. On the list of things I didn't think I'd need to be told as an adult "Don't put tape over barcodes" was one of them, yet here I am. Thank you lol

You can put several layers of tape over the bar code and the laser scanner can read it easily.
