  • The information came from a recent judge's ruling involving the alleged sexual assault of a minor.
    That case was thrown out because it wasn't prosecuted in time. Courtroom staffing shortages have become a near daily reality at the Ontario Court of Justice

    Fair point there is not enough staff but your incorrect that funding for staffing comes from the province - it comes from tax payers. Where will the money come from? Hospital budgets? Teacher raises? yap, yap, yap - suggest a solution.

      @@pacman3556by failing to acknowledge and resolve the issue,then working with orgs like lawpro to make it a retirement incentive for judges to target people who experience trauma. Julie McFarlaine, and sometimes Anita Szigeti have written well about this sort of issue, but it’s the stigma that seems to be building in the “anti woke” etc rhetoric, fanning the flames of backlash and denialism under colonialism, that’s been the underlying issue for this premier specifically, by, as one example, cutting (unregulated) tribunals in half, then feeding them with out of date, ineffective boilerplate….etc. the strategy seems to be to break the courts, let us become even more lawless, then justify money spent on increasingly draconian, outcomes. They seem to want to renormalize all our past mistakes under the hubris that the law society itself can’t get over. Michael spratt David Lepofsky and others write about these issues endlessly, but no one steps up to the plate to call out insurer’s role in all this. They built this broken structure but the hubris in our courts is that this structure is immovable.
      Etc.

    Provincial courts hire CONTRACT/TEMP workers to "save money" and in turn it fucks over people waiting for their day in court to put criminals in their place. THE SYSTEM IS BROKEN, don't sit there and do nothing, speak up and demand change.

    It's inefficient because they keep processing the same orders, this warehouse ships out 1000 items a year, 750 are reorders, the same order again and again.

    So basically take justice into your own hands because like the criminals you won't be going to court any time soon either, so you have nothing to lose, I'm buying some more guns and ammo easy to get, guns are abundant in Toronto

    • @pacman3556
      @pacman3556 Рік тому

      so your solution to a problem is to murder people? You are the last person that should be allowed to own a gun. That type of logic is a perfect example of why we need to get rid of guns and not have a second amendment.

    It's not just this government, it's government. It reminds me of the lyrics from a song: "meet the new boss, same as the old boss". It's either that or worse. Regardless of political affiliation, the gravy train is actually ending because money can not discriminate if its' not there.
