Seeing you with her family reminds me of my situation of how accepting my wifes family is with me. If I may offer a bit of advice, just keep in mind (if you are thinking of marriage) that when you marry a Latina, you are marrying the family. That's true but the person filing the claim has to already be approved for residency(2 year conditional green card) which doesn't happen until about 1-2 years after marriage. There has to be serious proof that the domestic violence claim is valid. The Uscis will investigate the situation. If the claim is false they can lose their residency status for fraud. It's not an easy process. These people are already hip to what people would try to do to cheat the system 😉👌🏾But we won't have to worry about that 💯
What you mentioned there about the domestic violence is claimed a lot by a lot of these foreign women from all over the world. That man bring them back from and even some of the foreign men do it it's a game. And it's serious business for this brother and his Colombian wife. So I'm in a similar situation. We have talked about the K1. When you say you might not be in the usa that long...do mean you plan on retiring trucking and moving to colombia? A sooner than later retirement or regular...perhaps making real estate plans in colombia or something? Or switching careers to a digital nomad? ...also ..under k1...you say she can enter usa only once..so doing the 3 or 6 month period...she can't leave the usa and comeback even with you? For vacation?
That's correct bro. K1 is a 1 time entry visa. She wouldn't be able to leave the States until she receives her residency(2 year green card) That can take about 2 years or more to get. The only way she can leave the States before receiving the green card... get married, then apply for residency, then file another document to request permission to leave the States for an emergency or etc. But she won't be able to leave and re enter the States at will until she establishes residency. I'm still deciding on what I want to do as far as my career. But we'll see 😄👌🏾

@@kingljproductions504 The official wait time on the US state department website shows the wait time for the tourist visa is over 2 years. You must pay the non-refundable fees in advance. Almost all the applicants from Colombia are rejected. Fees start at $300 US dollars- nonrefundable even if rejected. On the fiancé visa, it's like 3 or weeks. usually approved. But.... that means she has 90 days the moment its approved to arrive in the US. She is required to exit on day 90 unless she marries you. You cannot do a second or third fiancé visa once this happens. She is either married to you on day 90 or the whole thing is over permanently. The US embassy will likely reject the man's future request to start new fiancé visas with any new woman.

Almost all the applicants from Colombia are rejected. Fees start at $300 US dollars- nonrefundable even if rejected. On the fiancé visa, it's like 3 or weeks. usually approved. But.... that means she has 90 days the moment its approved to arrive in the US. She is required to exit on day 90 unless she marries you. You cannot do a second or third fiancé visa once this happens. She is either married to you on day 90 or the whole thing is over permanently. The US embassy will likely reject the man's future request to start new fiancé visas with any new woman.
