How to connect the Blue Yeti to the playstation 5

- In this video I show you how to connect the Blue Yeti microphone and wired gaming headset to the playstation 5. There are two ways, so watch until the end to know both ways.
The first way, you don't hear yourself talking unless you have the gain turned up on the Blue Yeti microphone.
The second way, you are able to hear yourself while you speak regardless of the gain on the Blue Yeti because input and output are going through the microphone.

I did exactly what you explained in both ways. So when I live stream, I have my channel up, and I could still hear myself echo on the phone
phone- microphone? turn the gain down. or cell phone? you will have to say something and then mute your mic, when you listen to your stream on another device there can be echoing/interference

What if my wireless headset can only connect through usb stick , how I’m gonna connect my mic then ?
connect yeti to ps5 and then put the headset usb into ps5, the order shouldn't matter, just go to settings and make sure you choose yeti as mic and sound output as headphones

Are you able to manually change output to blue yeti?
If yes, that’s how my ps5 does it to me. I have to change it every time.
So for me, I have the turtle beach stealth 700 wireless headphones and i plug the usb stick into the back of the ps5. then i plug my blue yeti mic into the front of the ps5. Then I go to the audio output, output device and choose my turtle beach. Go to microphone, input device and choose usb headset (blue microphone) aka blue yeti and it works for me. Keep in mind, if i change microphone first, then go to audio output second, it will automatically change my microphone again. So when this happens either: A do microphone, audio output, then microphone again or B: audio output and then microphone. its annoying the ps5 does that, but it does happen to everybody. hope this helps!

There is a gain knob on the blue yeti, talk and turn that knob until you don’t hear yourself in your headset.

Do you need to do this everytime or can you leave everything plugged in and the setting will save ?
every time you unplug and plug in your controller you will have to make sure that "microphone" and "audio output" didn't change

Does your blue yeti start cracklin if you talk to loud?
It would if I had the mic right in front of my mouth and I yelled/talk loud. I now have it on a microphone arm and have a foam cover over it too.

what if your using keyboard and mouse on ps5 and want to connect the mic
there are four usb ports on the ps5, so you can use one for mic, keyboard, and mouse.
What if the console doesn’t even recognize the microphone? I tried both ways and my ps5 doesn’t even recognize the microphone as being a usb microphone
I would try plugging the yeti into another computer or something to see if the microphone gets noticed there. If it doesn't it could be the mic or cord

What kind of monitor do you have
Hi, I use an LG 29WK50S-P 29" UltraWide Full HD IPS Monitor.
I like this monitor because it has a crosshair that I can use for shooting games: COD, or Fortnite etc.
I tried this method with my steel series 7+ headset. Should i use another headphone adaptor?
@@Radiofromsouthside if you connect Bluetooth to the PS5, you should be able to choose the headset for audio and blue yeti for microphone.
I have done this method with the ps5 wireless headset.
