I compared and went with the 3.2. I did not like that delay while the 2.0 decided whether or not it was going to activate the turbo and then the transmission seems confused all the time with the 2.0 while they seemed to have finally gotten the 3.2 and the ZF to communicate. The 3.2 in Sport mode works great if I want to vroom vroom vroom. And I can tow more... AND I don't have to buy premium gas. How can you enjoy California when you are paying about 6 bucks a gallon. Heck, if I lived there, I'd get a Tesla just to keep from paying those gas prices.
I am pretty happy with the 2.0 Turbo. I got 36.4 mph from Ocean City, MD to Newark, DE and 37.3 on the way back the other day. I didn't get on it I kinda feathered the gas pedal when I needed speed and let the turbo do the work. I also filled the tank each way so I had the computer reading and my own calculation based on the gas receipt. Around town I get 28-29 and if I am in sport mode I get 25ish. I have no complaints overall about the vehicle it is sweet. Two things I would love is a turbo boost gauge and a 0-60 timer like the Charger has.
2.0 has 2 major recalls in the cherokee, do not buy the 2.0 turbo, the recalls are bad ones. wait a couple years on this motor so they get the bugs out.
I got the 2019 with the 2.0 turbo engine. It’s amazing
Good intel!!!!! Thank you, looking at these.👍👍👍

I get better mileage with the V-6. Wait until the turbo goes out from over work and see how expensive it is ti replace.
im thinking about buying a cherokee, did ZF ever fixed the transmission issue? which trim do you recommend
If you get the 3.2 no it still is crappy and gear locks on hills but the calibration on the 2.0turbo is great
About the same performance ... Chrysler's new 2.0 liter Turbo 4 is a bit quicker, but the 3.2 liter V6 can tow more (If you're towing).
wrong the v6 pulls the 2L
@@acnconstruction No it doesn't. And it's not close ... The 2.0T Cherokee FLIES.
There is no V4 that is an I4 or straight 4 turbo.
They wouldn't get upset because those are motorcycle engines and we're all talking about auto engines.
@@afcgeo882 Subaru has v4
choko rangel No, moron, it has an H4! You don’t even know what a V stands for!
My GⓄⓄgle I would love a smart car with a Ducati v4 engine swap
This is 1:50 of my life I will never get back. I wish it had a v-4 lol
Wait till that turbo goes out they only cost a 1000 dollars before install.
V4??????

"Over & out?" That's not a thing. It's over OR out. Pick one.
what a wast ,a lot about nothing .You think they can tell you more about the Cherokee like how it is off-road
That's in a different video, Robert! This is just a quick one about what we thought about the two models.
Just test drove both. 2.0 is a joke
