21 years without a wash and a perfect paint, no rust, no scratch, no flat (big) tires, no nothing. NASA should study this car.

21 years without FULL DETAILS wash. but maybe 3-4 years without a simple wash. when you write a com, don't forget to listen closely the title bro
perfect? Dude I don't know if you saw but the paint was still flat with a lot of imperfections. After this much paint correction, almost any car will look like this so it's not like this is some sort of unique car or anything
As a fellow detailer i know how much work it takes to bring a car like this back and im impressed with the out come so far can't wait for the complete transformation...

What a fantastic job you did that little Corsa a has come back to life. What a difference the weather makes, these novas in uk use to rot. Front wings, rear arches,battery tray, outer sills, front valance , inner wings. I must have had about five of these in all. Great memories.

Schön mal einen Corsa A zu sehen, habe in den 2000ern als Kind noch nicht so auf die Autos geachtet, aber in den 2010ern noch durchaus oft ältere VW wie Golf II, Passat B3/B4 auf den Straßen gesehen und auch noch so einige Astra F, Corsa B usw. aber Opel von vor den 90ern wie einen Senator B, Kadett E, Ascona, Manta oder eben Corsa A nur äußerst selten (Fords und Audis eigentlich auch, sowas wie den 50 eigentlich fast nie), zuletzt den Corsa A mal bei einem Gebrauchtwagenhändler und mal vor zwei Jahren eine Stufenheckvariante auf Mallorca.
Dürfte aber zweifelsohne am damals eher noch spärlichen Rostschutz liegen, richtig los mit Vollverzinkung gings ja mit dem Audi 100 C3.

Aber als ehemaliger Koch solltest du eigentlich wissen, das man, um Anhaftungen schnell zu entfernen, wie Moos, oder was das war, den Winkel zum abspritzen mit flachem Winkel arbeiten sollte, viel effektiver. Du hältst fast senkrecht drauf. Aber vielleicht ist das ja auch beim Autolack anders, kann ja sein.
Slow down and let the tools do there job. So many detailers work too fast. Great video and cool old Corsa. My old friend always drives these old Corsa. Fun car

Sorry ist wirklich nicht böse gemeint aber bis zum Part mit der Knete hätte ich das mit einem Universalreiniger schneller und günstiger ( was du da an Chemie verbrätst ist ja unfassbar ) gemacht. Wozu 1000 x einschäumen wenn du eh im Anschluss polierst?
Das Endergebniss beeinflusst Deine Waschorgie nicht aber das weisst du auch ;)

Ich verstehe das wenn man sich nicht tief genug mit der Materie beschäftigt keine Ahnung von den einzelnen Vorgängen hat 🙂 der Schaum dient dazu die Wirkzeit zu erhöhen und das abtrocknen des Universalreinigers in Praller sonne zu vermeiden. Aus meiner Sicht ist die Orgie also bei einem Auto von dem Zustand unvermeidlich 😉

Tolles Projekt. Schaut schon jetzt nach Wasche und dem Polieren der 1/2 Haube wieder sehr ordentlich aus. Aber wäre das jetzt nicht ein Fahrzeug, welches prädestiniert dafür gewesen wäre, dass die "Consumer " Produkte von servFaces zeigen, was sie können oder ihre Grenzen sind im Gegensatz zu den Pro Reinigern?
Die "Consumer" Produkte im Vergleich zu der PRO Serie nimmt sich eigentlich nichts, die PRO Serie sind nur günstiger in der Formulierung der Inhaltstoffe und Preis/Leistung optimiert für große Aufbereiter mit viel Durchlauf. Die "Consumer" Produkte sind wertiger in den Inhaltstoffen und daher etwas teurer

Great steps how I would do it as a deep exterior clean prior to polish although I would do full claybar 😂 there are some things a detailier cannot save 😂

Seriously though, great job, and a lot of hard work. The paint surprised me, as Red Vauxhall paint is usually a lot more faded than that from UV after 20+ years, so I was genuinely shocked at how good it came up with a clay and single stage polish.

Good work. I just never understand why, with all the attention to detail, they don't take the wheels off and clean them properly. Then the wheel arches are made perfect at the same time. But that's the case with almost all "detailers" - they only clean where you can see it later - and not really completely. What a pity. Everything else is still nice work.
Also in English, this evening at 6 p.m. the rims will be dismantled, cleaned and sealed in the second video 😊
Absolut geniales Video! Ich erinnere mich noch an meinen Corsa A damals. Ebenfalls in rot. Ebenfalls in dem Zustand bekommen wie er beid ir aufgetaucht ist. Für mich ist das fast wie ein P*rno zu schauen. Wenn ich dir noch einen Tipp geben darf, die Kennzeichenhalter würde ich abnehmen. Dahinter versteckt sich meist auch ein ganzer Haufen Mist :)
Die Kennzeichenhakter werden im zweiten Video entfernt 🙂

I had one of these cars it was my first car I bought it in June 1994 and it lasted until 10 years I had the same model 1.0litre swing three door hatchback manual choke 4 speed box the red paint turns pink overtime I had a swing model like this one however I this one is an eighties model with nineties parts on it the front grille is from a later model and the mirrors are from a later model rear wheel arches tend to rust out these cars can do around 90000 miles before they start to suffer with mechanical issues mine was an 1984 model and lasted until 2004 so twenty years old was pretty good I think I haven't seen one of these cars for a lot time in england these cars where called vauxhall nova engines available were 1.0/1.2/1.3/1.4/1.6 base models available were L/GL/SR/SRI/GTE/ANTIBES/SPIN/STAR/CLUB/BOSSA/great car to start out with greetings from united kingdom in a place called luton in a county called Bedfordshire we used to have a vauxhall car Plant here wear we made cavaliers and vectras and Vivas but it's gone now

Also, you put too much pressure on your buffer. The weight of the buffer is enough weight to do the job, the pressure you put on will burn it up really fast. Just guide it with your hands, let the buffer do the work.

What does the swing mean? Also I wish we got these cars in the states. Opel, seat, etc etc etc. We never get any cool small cars.
Swing is the name of the model available around 84/85 I had one however this vehicle has a newer front end grille probably from a later model restyled model nineties onwards in United Kingdom (where I am ) the swing model was available from 1984/1985 the swing model I had had different door mirrors these door mirrors are of of a later model I think this vehicle maybe an early 80s model and someone has updated by using parts from a later model thecfront grille is wrong the mirrors are wrong for a swing model the red paint is notorious for turning ping overtime rust on the front valalnce is common these cars can do around 90000 miles before they start to go wrong
@@chrissmith4365 I really wish we got small cars here in the USA. You go to dealerships and it's just packed full of SUVs, crossovers, and sedans. Mitsubishi has the mirage , but its not fun and most are automatic, like everything these days here. Even VW and Honda has made their cars massive. We don't get the honda city unfortunately. Not everyone here wants gas guzzling gigantic vehicles. It's ridiculous. I really wish companies like seat, Skoda, etc etc would come over here. Or even the companies that are here would offer the small cars they have in other countries.

Gute Arbeit. Ich verstehen nur nie, warum man bei all der Detailverliebtheit die Räder nicht runter nimmt und ordentlich reinigt. Dann wird der Radkasten auch gleich perfekt gemacht. Aber das ist bei fast allen „Detailern“ so - nur da sauber machen wo man es später sieht - und nicht wirklich komplett. Schade. Alles andere ist trotzdem schöne Arbeit.

Was das an Reiniger kostet da bekommt man schon fast ein neues Auto für und mal ehrlich mit schwamm und Wasser wär das auch gut geworden, und mit dem Hochdruck Reiniger so auf die Reifen zu Donnern ist nicht gut für die Reifen bitte nicht nach machen, aber ich gehe davon aus das sie danach in den Schrott gehen. Ich finde das Video eigentlich ganz gut ist eben auch Arbeit so ein Fahrzeug wider hinzubekommen bin selbst Autolackierer Meister und so ein Fahrzeug durch polieren braucht seine Zeit LG Lacki
Der hätte ungewaschen bleiben müssen! Einfach nur die technik zum laufen bringen und die "Moosoptik" so gelassen, hätte bestimmt auch was gehabt!
Aber trotzdem, natürlich Respekt für die Arbeit 👌
