This "hero" sure was no Stainless Steel Rat. Haha. Don't want to spoil the ending for anyone so I'll just shut up about that. *Thanks for sharing the audiobook with us. Kudos on having steel balls.* (compliment)
Cla'nix Prison is where the worst of the worst are sent to disappear. A place to remove the undesirables from society. No one has ever returned from Cla'nix. Freighter Captain Jake Cutter is sentenced for a crime he did not commit and arrives at the prison beaten and bloody. Tormented by his captors and haunted by the memories of his former life, he learns the hard way that prison can be deadly.
@Jumpmaster Press a book two would be nice. Thank you. When you write in the future, would you consider including more dialog to push the story? I really like that style. I have been listening to the writings of Mr. Eric Warren. The first book is Caspian's Gambit. Somehow, he manages to put enough dialog into his writings that I forget that there is a narration occurring. I know it is my personal preference. I have not been much of a reader, because I found out later in life that I have had to deal with dyslexia. The type font Times New Roman is a bear to read because too many of the letters look too much alike. Of course, most writings are produced in that font. Personally, I type most things in Tahoma, and if I could get away with always using a dyslexia font, I would. I also listen to the audiobooks now so that I can work with my hands as I am listening. My, how times have changed in the last 50 years: more choices without leaving the home!

WHAT !? It ends like that ? No frigging way ! Marc(k) had the evidence to blow her lies out of the water and end any dreams she had of having her own political career, but the tough investigator just bends over and takes it up the ass instead ? This is either the worst ending EVER, or it's the setup for a sequel. I hope to hell it a setup for a sequel for the author's sake.
Hello, good question. I'll do my best to answer without any spoilers. The correspondence between the protagonist and his wife. Their exchange of dialog, coupled with each character's internal thoughts was composed as an obvious 'red-herring.' Their failed marriage was glossed over and dismissed so completely, that all it accomplished was to alert me to what the author intends the reader to ignore. (The political character, though often referenced was treated in the same manner.)@@paulbutikofer4284
