1 Month Timelapse | Building Homemade Model Airport

- Over the last month, I’ve built this 1:500 scale replica of a portion of Chicago O’hare’s recent expansion to their terminal 5. This entire airport is constructed out of materials one may find in their home! Construction for this model airport was started on the 19th of July, 2022, and completed on the 18th of February, 2023. (The first few clips were from July, and the vast majority of the rest was built in the last month).
This video was revealed today because it is my channel’s third anniversary, 3 complete years of making aviation videos, and plenty more to come :)
What do you think of my homemade model airport? Leave your thoughts in the comments! Obviously this project was quite the process, so something as a simple as a like and subscribe would be greatly appreciated! Joining the channel would also greatly help me improve my videos, and of course, I only have two plane models (they are both in the video), joining the channel would help me get some more lovely models for this homemade model airport!

-Durable paper
-Cardboard
-Double sided tape
-Clear Tape
-Grey duct tape
-Durable plastic waste
-Coloured paper of choice
-Sandpaper (for roof of warehouse)
-Spare lego pieces

-Box cutter
-Scissors
-Super glue
-Highlighters (orange/yellow)
-Pencil and pen
-Sharpies
-Markers of choice
-Ruler
-Cutting board
-Oil pastel
-Paper towel
-Holiday lights (I took the coloured bulbs off them)
-Spare lego pieces
-A twisty-tie
-Protractor (if very precise angles are necessary, I used judgments, and then made sure the angles were somewhat accurate with the protractor)

5:06, it feels so bad when it glues on to your hand.
YES I would get a lot of glue on my hand in the process but it was not too bad just wash your hands good, or if you’re too lazy, it will come off over the course of a day or 2.

This is an absolutely amazing build and it uses a lot of very clever architectural elements. The only real downside is that a stronger red and yellow could have been used for the ramp but other than that this is such a beautiful build and I definitely have to commend you for your creativity.

Wow, that is so realistic and beautiful. It such a good model/replica, someone would think it was a whole team of professionals working on the design! It is absolutely perfect! You are also probably the best Aviation channel on the entire Platform of UA-cam and definitely my favorite Aviation channel on UA-cam. Also, I've seen that in many comments, you actually respond with viewers which is very rare to find on UA-cam, so thank you for that( I am definitely not copying some of the ideas from other comments).
