- Finnish concert organist Kalevi Kiviniemi plays "Intrada, Op.111a (1925)" by Jean Sibelius. This was recorded at Winterthur Stadtkirche, Switzerland, in May 2004. Organ is historical instrument by E.F. Walcker (1887-1888), restored by Orgelbau Kuhn, Männedorf, 1980-1984. This was recorded and videotaped live during the recording of Kiviniemi's CD/multichannel SACD "Jean Sibelius Complete Organ Works - Original Manuscripts", FUGA-9182, www.fuga.fi.
As in all videos here, audio is taken from original high definition multi channel recording, not from video camera's own microphone or from video camera's audio system. The better your computer's audio system is, the better the sound - of course within the limitations of UA-cam audio. Video, audio, editing and description by Mika Koivusalo.
This Sibelius fan is impressed. I'm inaugurating a new set of headphones by listening to your channel!
