Whoever has been telling you that you have a calming, relaxing voice is so right, wonderful to listen to! The light tapping and page turning of this colorful and interesting book is really awesome as well! Great job for your first ASMR video! Best wishes for you and your channel!

The unusual letter towards the start of the video, it's old queens English and it was taught in England many years ago. Many words were stuck together to make vowel sounds and such.

You are very good, please do more! Great page work, perhaps you could do that while reading some Thomas Hardy or Bronte? I think Aethelred is has the 'a' that is 'ale', but softer :-)

Ella, did I mess something up as far as the history goes? I certainly did not mean to. Also I know that the English royals are not anywhere close to a full representation of English history by any means, so I hope that's not how I came across. I think, as an American girl, I am guilty of romanticizing them and of becoming enchanted with the idea of royals, lol. I'm glad you were still able to enjoy the video.

It would have been very good, but I personally do not like the page grinding with your fingers. To me page turning is soothing and relaxing but that finger grinding on the paper kind of interupts and takes away from the ASMR effect. I would love to see another video like this with softer page turning and more of a whisper tone in your voice. I think that would definitely get the tingles and/or relaxation going. =)

Nice video, quite relaxing, but as has been said, the book itself sort of sends you down a dodgy path, history-wise. The front cover title for a start. There are a few solely English Monarchs depicted there, but also those who reigned over Great Britain, as the nation became known after the Union of the Crowns in 1603, which amalgamated the Thrones of England and Scotland. This state of affairs still applies today.
As far as the political relationship goes; the Monarch is our head of state, and various Monarchs have engaged in the Political side to varying degrees, although their role, in the final analysis, is ceremonial. They cannot enact or create law or regulation. Also, the Normans who invaded in 1066 weren't French, they were from Normandy which was populated by people of Viking, or Norse origin-hence "Norman"-and were a vassal state of the Franks. As I say though, enjoyable video, makes a nice change from ASMR page turning vids that only feature celebrity/trash magazines...;(

I do struggle with speaking quickly, especially when I'm nervous. I will try and be more aware of this in future videos. Thanks Cam!
