I bet she thought he would do the same, but this is twice where he's claimed he'd go down in a shootout cops and walked away calmly. He's a coward and she's a desperate fool.

Scott, I’m a new fan of a few months and I love this channel!! I’m also a TV reporter for KRHD Channel 25 news in Bryan, TX. We’ve been covering for the past week and a half the escape of cartel murderer Gonzalo Lopez, who commandeered a prison transport bus, shivved the bus driver, and escaped into the woods of Centerville, TX, a small rural town in Leon County. I’ve been at a lot of the press conferences and have driven around the search perimeter interviewing people. Cops finally had to give up on the localized search and admit defeat after nine days. It’s wild! The community here have so many conspiracy theories about how he escaped. And he was originally in prison for kidnapping and pickaxe murder, along with trying to kill a cop. If you’d ever like information to cover that case, I’d be happy to provide you with all of our local coverage. Again, LOVE your channel!!
How is that not a bigger story nationally? Wow! Welcome to the family. I’ve been a subscriber since close to the beginning. I wish he uploaded more. Cheers

Learning about Vicki's life before this happened is starting to make a lot more sense, to me. Vicki cared for her ex-husband for many, many years and he had just passed away before this took place, which is something I think that played an enormous part in her mindset. You mentioned she was seen as a mothering type. I feel like she was having a very major existential crisis, was probably feeling completely lost now that there was no one left to care for. My own sweet grandmother hit this point, a decade after losing my grandfather, she met a man online and literally sold EVERYTHING she owned for way under asking price. She ran off with him in an RV, cut off ties from family members, then when she came back around it turned out the guy had been abusing her the whole time and she gave him the RV just to placate him when she left. So uncharacteristic for my little church going granny. But some people just aren't equipped to handle these kinds of major life changes and go ballistic. :( It's almost suicidal behavior..

You have NO idea how happy it makes me to hear you talking about not only my town/area but that I know Casey and live 2 miles from his mom. This is SO SO wild. Thank you for covering this!!!
Fun fact the first truck stop he stops at we call it the Shady Lady (Shady Lawn is the real name though) and Mike Blakely the sheriff actually brought him whiskey and drank it with him, but ole Mike Blakely was arrested in his own jail in 2020. Super wild. Anyways the other word around town is that Casey admitted to in Rogersville was not committed by him at all. He just wanted to be sent back to Lauderdale for him and Vicky to plot/execute their escape plan from 2 years prior. Never mind you brought up the latter part 😅 I've been going through my husband's yearbooks looking at goofy ass Casey through the years. He's a major douche canoe in real life if that wasn't already apparent.
Oneeee last thing I was talking to the sheriff at the polls yesterday and he said she didn't dial 911 that the Cadillac's OnStar automatically did. That's why they weren't talking to the dispatcher or anything. Casey referred to Vicky as his wife at the crash site. I make no excuses for Vicky but Casey was NOT worth taking her life over. Her mom is just beside herself. I just don't think she wanted to face her coworkers and community 😔
Great job covering this!! As someone who has lived (lol unfortunately) within 40 mins of Florence, Alabama for a long time now, you made this highly reported story seem new. Lol Definitely an amazing story teller. And your love for dogs is just the cherry on top! You know the least he could've done for her, when they were caught, was to prevent her from offing herself and take the blame. Just say it was 100% him and spare her. But no, he let's her die and he calmly walks away unscathed yet again.
just had a 10 hour shift. Came home at 12 am, sat down with my dinner and see that TCL has uploaded. Keep up the great work. Your ability to tell stories an immerse people in your atmosphere is astonishing.
“Maternal”? This woman had no children despite two marriages. This had nothing to do with maternal instincts. This was an unqualified, insane, impulsive woman being seduced by a vicious criminal. But Vicky isn’t some young, naive teenager being taken advantage of by an older male. SHE SHOULD KNOW BETTER AT HER AGE AND WITH HER CAREER EXPERIENCE. Prisons should be 100% sex segregated. Female prison has all female guards and staff. Male prison- male guards and staff. This “female corrections officer being seduced into criminal activity by convicted felons” is a long-standing pattern by now. They usually don’t involve escapes, usually just sex and smuggling contraband in for their prisoner boyfriends.
She could have retired. If she could have hid him for a few months, then retire, buy a camper and just set off. Disappear, switch campers, go far away. Her actual plan sucked.
I've lived in an old trailer park. After seeing 3 arsons & drinking date rape drug, a crazy guy crashing into the trailer park & being chased by cops wouldn't surprise me at all.
RIP MISSY BRITCHES🤍 the use of instruments, and your amazing storytelling really keeps me on the edge of my seat! this is crazy as hell, great context to this story. Loved the clever ending hahaha 🔥🔥🔥
Best storyteller! I skipped this video for days, because I've heard this story a million times. What a mistake, this was so interesting and enjoyable to listen to.
You understand the human aspect of this cofounding story better than anyone else I’ve heard try and explain it, Scott. I am an older woman and I totally understand that Vicky thought she would rather have a brief relationship and excitement with her giant convict rather than sit alone in her house waiting for sickness and death. She watched her ex wither away and that wasn’t easy. I for one sincerely hope she enjoyed her brief adventure.
This is what I've been saying all along. She watched her husband die of cancer and I just got the feeling she didn't want to go out like that. Glad to see someone else see it this way.
i always hated it when ppl flip out about their ex dating someone. also when people work themselves into a rage about the most petty stupid insignificant things. this is why i chose to be single and alone at 45
Exactly my thoughts. If someone doesn’t want to date you, shouldn’t your self-esteem prevent you from running after them? Whether we like it or not, we don’t always get the forever and ever someone initially promised us, and we have to accept it.
@@trudykennedy2087 Exactly with self-esteem and maturity you just have to let go. What is it going to bring you to chase that person?? Let go, no other choice. And I will go further, if you love someone deeply, you can be sad or mad at him/her, but you could never kill or hurt that person. When it happens and they say "I love my ex so much I had to kill him/her..." This is not love for your ex, this is more love for yourself. Regarding that lady, she just flushed her life and everything she achieved in the toilet. Being single can be a blessing, no need to be with someone at all costs to be happy. She had a home, a career and a pension coming soon. Why didn't she enjoy her life?
@@SylD0611 totally agree and yes with the lady in question her decisions were beyond bizarre, i get why he wanted to escape obviously but what on earth led her to even contemplate what she did? Firstly as Scott pointed out his rap sheet doesn't exactly indicate a happy ever after type ending even they'd have got away with the escape but what she did is just beyond baffling just getting involved with this lunatic, I'm literally at a loss for words i can't even....
you disguise a giant - by using a wheelchair!! Off grid cabin would have been better than a motel!! ONSTAR called 911, no one in the car called. That is General Motors security onboard facility to call 911 for you if there is severe erratic driving or airbags are reacting, or anything that would warrant you needing assistance. That is why you are able to hear them speaking to each other.
I’d thought of using a wheelchair as well. His height was so immediately noticeable that, if they’d been smart, they’d have hid that abnormal height by keeping loverboy seated in public.
Holy hell, what a total nutcase! I've never seen a sleeper cab with a locking door but that trucker was incredibly lucky that he had one! Thank you for covering this, Scott. I'm sure I'm not the only one that has been wondering what the whole story was with these two and how their unlikely romance came to be but you have to think Vicki read his rap sheet and knew he was a total psycho but I guess she was into not just bad boys, but the worst of the worst because she could've found a man at the local drive bar if she was that desperate.
I'm guessing she was depressed and didn't think she had much going on in her life. Sure wasn't into bad boys. She was married and divorced, but took care of her ex husband while he was sick until he died. She had no children.
She could have found someone on Tinder. 50 year old women get plenty of attention on all the dating sites. I guess he's really huge if he's into that and he spent three years convincing her he loved her before this so....that's a long time.
Thank you, Scott for this interpretation. I was so excited when I saw it come up on my feed. I want to throw my hat in the ring for you to do an analysis of what happened with the Gonzalo Lopez case....with a focus on that odd public relations officer that was assigned to manage the public's perception. Dutyron and Offthecuff did some fine work on this case. They really didn't like the public relations officer. But a comedic twist would also be appropriate due to all the variables such as the pick ax killing, the numerous escape attempts, his smiling photographs before the jail break, the cell phone in his pocket, the family who caught the prisoner on cell phone running through the corn field while officers ignored the family, the wild hogs in the area that the police said would eat him, the Mexican mafia who probably helped him, all the obstacles that the prisoner overcame to get out etc etc. Dutyron's channel will be the best for any research that needs to get done.
Dang, “…Her boredom and loneliness… “ BAM that hit home for me as I just turned 58 and unable to figure out my purpose. No one to blame but myself but still… 😞. Anywho, new subscriber and love your videos.
What a terrible plan and what a very scary dude. Vicky goes to show that we're all human. She fell for his schemes even though she had years of experience with inmates. 😳 It sounds like she didn't have much to live for, in her mind anyway. She obviously didn't care about money. I'm thinking she had serious depression.
RIP Missy Britches!! Poor pup 🐶💐🙏 wow - what a wild story! I’m gonna say this woman must have had not only boredom/loneliness but some kind of issues around trying to care for hopeless cases that ended up take to the extreme.

As someone who's been actively house hunting for a few YEARS I'm just so pissed I missed out on that luck, some dude scored that ladies house for like a 3rd of what it was worth... That stings hard for me lol
when scott mentions the hilarity of the situation when people in desperation put a gun to their own head threatening to shoot effectively taking oneself hostage my mind immediately jumped to the scene from Blazing Saddles (dont worry im not going to start quoting it, no way, no how, that would probably not go well for me im sure) but like the scene in the film it is a crazy thing that desperate people have tried although i doubt with the success of the sheriff in question. Alabamian here! I live in north Alabama and know all of these landmarks well. I have to confess, I didn’t know all of the intricate details of this case. I don’t watch MSM so I only heard the highlights, but you made this story so entertaining! I was surprised they got away with it as long as they did. Sooo sad but predictable outcome.
My mother-in-law is a prison guard and she befriends the "good" lifers which concerns me. She had an inmate paint a portrait of my daughter (around 2yr old at the time) and when we received it as a gift we had the "oh my goodness that's a beautiful painting " kinda look on our faces then in the middle of our admiration of the painting she says an inmate did it and our faces morphed into the nervous nod thinking "oh... that's shocking news, not sure what think yet, let me process this" kinda look. So ya, we have a beautiful portrait of our daughter hanging on our wall probably done by a murderous monster that's a good painter. Life is weird at times.
Took a while to recognize the case. Lady had a sad , barren life. I wish she could have lived in her little house and tended her flowers and fostered shelter dogs.

Lol
Definitely an amazing story teller.
And your love for dogs is just the cherry on top!
You know the least he could've done for her, when they were caught, was to prevent her from offing herself and take the blame. Just say it was 100% him and spare her. But no, he let's her die and he calmly walks away unscathed yet again.
If they ever catch me and lock me up I'll remember all of TCL's amazing advice for my escape, thank you.
Im guessing youd do a little better than these two given your track record
Hey DB u still have the money, did ya land safely?
Your facial expressions alone are enough to crack me up!!!😂🤣
Scott every time you upload. It’s a highlight to my day. Ty for making me smile!!!!!
just had a 10 hour shift. Came home at 12 am, sat down with my dinner and see that TCL has uploaded. Keep up the great work. Your ability to tell stories an immerse people in your atmosphere is astonishing.
Never underestimate what a maternal woman will do for a manipulative man she thinks she can 'save'.
Her actual plan sucked.
even a teenage criminal knows that stealing cars and staying in motels is gonna get you caught
She just couldn’t wait anymore to get that D
@gristam shackleford
Did they steal cars though?
Thought Vicki bought a couple using money she got from selling her house.
He would have eventually killed her.
It was do or die. I think she knew the odds were against her.
She rolled the dice, anyway.
I will never look at a brochure the same way... Allegedly. 👏👏👏👏👏 ❤️❤️🇨🇦🇨🇦
I just audibly said “yesssssss” like napoleon dynamite when I saw a new TCL video was posted 24min ago
Yes!!
R.I.P. Missy Britches
I've lived in an old trailer park. After seeing 3 arsons & drinking date rape drug, a crazy guy crashing into the trailer park & being chased by cops wouldn't surprise me at all.
Trailer Park Boys is strangely accurate
RIP MISSY BRITCHES🤍
the use of instruments, and your amazing storytelling really keeps me on the edge of my seat! this is crazy as hell, great context to this story. Loved the clever ending hahaha 🔥🔥🔥
Best storyteller! I skipped this video for days, because I've heard this story a million times. What a mistake, this was so interesting and enjoyable to listen to.
How dare you skip Scott! You should have known better
RIP Missy Britches :-( And I hope that lady recovered in hospital with a whole pile of brochures!!
Hell yeah Donna!
This is what I've been saying all along. She watched her husband die of cancer and I just got the feeling she didn't want to go out like that. Glad to see someone else see it this way.
very astute of you to figure that out
Retirement isn't that boring.
@@eonianomega Right??? I’m amazed that no one has discussed this aspect of the situation. It’s not that hard to understand.
i always hated it when ppl flip out about their ex dating someone. also when people work themselves into a rage about the most petty stupid insignificant things. this is why i chose to be single and alone at 45
Exactly my thoughts. If someone doesn’t want to date you, shouldn’t your self-esteem prevent you from running after them? Whether we like it or not, we don’t always get the forever and ever someone initially promised us, and we have to accept it.
alright, say goodbye to your bloodline though
@@SylD0611 Couldn't agree more.
Was waiting to hear this one, absoluteley fantastic presentation as usual. Can't get enough of that TCL
Vicky White had a good career... some might say the best career... Schmeeda will tell ya.
But…if you’re still unsure, axe Michelle
😂😂
'You have a 7 foot boyfriend now'....the way he said it made me chuckle...
😂😂😂
R.I.P. Missy Britches
Omg, couldn't stop laughing. Your best bit yet.
I know!!!! I guess he might lock it while asleep for safety. He'd have a gun in that sleeper for sure. Wish someone would interview him.
I think, since he was a domestic violencer, he domestic violenced her into it.
@@prayingmantis8148 If that was the case all she would've had to do was throw him in the hole.
She could have found someone on Tinder. 50 year old women get plenty of attention on all the dating sites. I guess he's really huge if he's into that and he spent three years convincing her he loved her before this so....that's a long time.
Been in a rut, haven’t seen u on my recommended in awhile. Made my day. Needed that.
LOL I've been subscribed but this is my first time watching Scott tell a story and I'm in tears 5 minutes in 😂😂😂😂😂
I would love to hear you tell some more of those jail break stories. :D
Yes! I’m so glad you covered this case! It has been big news here in Alabama. So glad someone is finally covering this case
Just when I need some TCL, there's Scott. Thank you, buddy.
Stuck in a motel with some giant boyfriend… thank you… I needed that😀
I think Styphen could have planned it better, or maybe not. Tough call there.
4x4 troll drive might have been the way to go with it Tbf.
Finally, this has been the reaction I've been waiting for.
I know women like strong, tall guys, but 6’9” 300lbs and a psycho is a bit extreme!
Love you, too, Scott x
R.I.P Missy Britches 🐾😢❣️
I’ve seen this story on the news but only just caught the highlights. I’ve been waiting for this….a TCL breakdown!!
You are amazing!
Oh I needed this this morning. This month has been an absolute shit storm for my family and there's nothing like a Schmeeda video to cheer me up!
Your Schmeeda fam is always here for a good laugh😁
Hope things get better for you soon! 💙
@@melissaglasco8263 Thank you!
The biggest self esteem boost hey hahaha no matter how far we sink, it can’t be this low!! 😏🙈
Dang, “…Her boredom and loneliness… “ BAM that hit home for me as I just turned 58 and unable to figure out my purpose. No one to blame but myself but still… 😞. Anywho, new subscriber and love your videos.
YESSSSS. Been waiting for Scott the Man to cover this story. Making my day :)
And little self-esteem.
Homie.......been excited for your take on this one!
RIP Missy Britches!! Poor pup 🐶💐🙏 wow - what a wild story! I’m gonna say this woman must have had not only boredom/loneliness but some kind of issues around trying to care for hopeless cases that ended up take to the extreme.
Bloody Brilliant !!! A Kenyan Marathon Runner ... ha !!
You’re almost at 100k subscribers TCL! Way to go - your content is really entertaining, unique and always enjoyable 🤩
This is an amazing video you did such a great job and I say thank you for the work and artistry.
Housing wanted, preferably someone selling way under market value so they can help a convict escape. RIP MISSY BRITCHES. (I think you may need a merch shirt with this)
You aint kidding, boredom and loneliness is a sinister thing and comes for you in the night. True, True Crime Loser. I am a True Crime Loser too and need this social network. Thanks bro. I used Stephen Mcdaniels, The Bizarre Case by JCS(MLA Reference given) for my final essay in college class. The topic was 5th amend/police interrogations/false confessions/Reid Technique. Good job screenwriter.
"Gooood morning everybody" well it is now
Fark that had me ROFL PMSL 🤣🤣🤣. Only TCL can turn a tragic story into a hilarious comedy sketch.. Right from Casey being a 34 Yr old who didn't mature enough to realise the dating game includes your ex dating someone else at some point 😂
You wrapped that one up so nicely,Scott.
Very beautiful.
I needed this for the morning. ☺️☺️ Thx TCL. 💖
Rest In Peace, Missy Britches.
The first vehicle they used was ORANGE. It's almost like they both wanted to go down.
Almost 100k.!! I started watching u when u had 14,000 subs..your one of the funniest people on UA-cam.
Haha another great one! You know you have a special gift when I have other UA-cam options here after a long day of work, yet I click on yours even though I'm really tired of hearing this story lately... Plus - not one time did I hear the poor dog's name in other videos. Indeed, RIP Missy Britches.
"GIVE ME ALL YOUR MONEY!!"
"I don't... have any.. money"
Lmao
Been waiting for your first class commentary on this sh*tshow
R.I.P Missy Bitches.
I love when Scott uploads new videos. I know I am going to be entertained throughout whatever story he is telling. Such a talented story teller...just axe Michelle! Lol!
Poor Missy Britches RIP. I miss some parts of cases & you tell each case in a great way 👍
You are such a good story teller. Love it!
Ok finally this makes sense. Thank you for the detailed storytelling!
I watch your videos over and over, Scott. They always crack me up and never get old!
The descriptive storytelling is 🤌🏼💋 this is what I’m here for! 🤣🤣🤣
NOT THE DOG!
Took a while to recognize the case. Lady had a sad , barren life. I wish she could have lived in her little house and tended her flowers and fostered shelter dogs.
YES! Just what I needed! Thanks Scott
I thought I'd heard everything about this story, but no I hadn't. thanks Scott. and remember when you're on the run from US Marshals it's best to have a clean vehicle
RIP MISSY BRITCHES. You were too good for this world. Woof.
I feel so lonely (and possibly bored) without your "Shameeda" sign-off, I may just sidle up to a violent gargantuan inmate just to ease the pain.
Yessss always love seeing TCL notifications
True classic. Rest in peace Missy Britches.
he was actually able to sweet talk a guard to help him walk out, plus same time flush her entire life up til than.. hell of n accomplishment right there
