    I’ve use this pedal for about a year now on my piano, bass and acoustic guitar. I play live several times a month and I’ve considered buying a second one. I use it as a DI and effects pedal depending upon what instrument I’m playing. The point is is very versatile and apparently durable.

    This is a great tool for acoustic guitar players. It helps me to quickly find the right tones and volume levels wherever I'm playing live solo acoustic music.

    Regarding the notch filter...
    People more familiar with electro-acoustics probably ignored this error, but people seeking to understand what these are for and whether they need one should know that the notch filter is misrepresented in this video. It's not for the picking sounds and when used correctly can be very useful. That really should be edited and this video reposted. Hint: Sound hole covers help to address the same thing.

    Hey there pedal Guy, this is a nice video thanks for putting it up. I have purchased it from your video. I am very happy with it.
    Please can you tell me if it is possible to record my acoustic guitar using an sm57 xlr from mic to a 1/4 mono jack into the Stageman input will not work. How do I get my mic to record through the Stageman Floor acoustic Preamp DI into my audio interface... thanks for any advice

    I use AKG C411PP Pre-polarized condenser transduce vibration pickup with my Epiphone EJ200SCE, which has also esonic 2 preamp system. I want to add NUX stageman Di pedal after the akg transduce for more realistic acoustic flavour. What do you suggest?

    I am not very familiar with amps for acoustic, but since this is a preamp pedal, do you think it is necessary to have another pedal to simulate cabinet?

    • @ThePedalGuy
      @ThePedalGuy  Рік тому +1

      Hi. Thanks for the question. Not for an acoustic preamp. Just route the preamp to your mixer or PA. That will do the trick.

    Pedals like these really need to use the phantom power when plugging into the DI !
    Having to carry an extra power supply or batteries, is just not practical imo.
    I also think you should have tried a magnetic pickup to let us hear how that sounded !
    Please take this as constructive criticism .

    i bought this pedal as I thought it would make my acoustic guitar ( Martin D15M) using a LR baggs M1 pick up sound less harsh going straight into my electric guitar amp ( 1982 Music Man 112 Rd fifty) but so far not really helping , ugh , i tried the LUX straight into my pa and it's still rather harsh sounding. i think it's not the pedal i was hoping for ? Am I that lost ? what are you playing thru I didn't catch this in your vid ? Thanks
