Nice video. Great prices. It would have been nice if you would have shown prices on the books you passed up and why you passed them up. Makes for a even more interesting video
I'm down in London. Annoys me somewhat when these silver and bronze books are the pence variants and the shop owners apply US prices....maybe it's just me but feel they should be slightly cheaper. Anyway, thought you would have picked up that FF Annual 2. I've got a copy of that book...good Doom cover and still reasonably priced I think.
There is no reason that the Pence version should be cheaper. They were printed at the same time as the cents copies, and from what I understand account for about 5% of the total print run of the books. That technically should make them more expensive.. such as other price variants like the canadian and australian versions.
@@padbearj3154 I do agree with you that pence copies should be considered in the same light as Aus/Canadian and warrant higher prices but the market hasn’t caught up with that yet. Therefore at the moment pence normally command about a 20/30% drop in price from the US copies. I am starting to see on certain books like for like such as hulk 181 but it’s not across the entire market.
So this is the owner that had a go at that young fella on StickyGoose's video?
Try to get here every couple of months, cos i always spend to much. Owner is always very helpful and always get a bargain. He has some gems here.
