Well that’s a gem ! A very enjoyable watch this. Thought provoking and it’s good that this part of our heritage is being preserved in some way. Britains hidden history is fascinating but does sometimes reveal things we shouldn’t necessarily be proud of.. More please …
Top class! This place is only 15 mins from us - we have walked behind it several times and never knew we could actually go in! We will be going soon and look forward to signing up! Keep up the great work on your adventures and reviews of different places in North Wales - we have lived here over 50 years and still discovering places to visit! You are helping with your videos and reviews! Thank you!
Thank you so much. That's so lovely to hear. Since starting this channel we've meeting so much ourselves! We're lucky to live in North Wales for sure. You keep on exploring too. Cheers 🍻
Absolutely fascinating!!! John & I love visiting historical places especially WWII sites. Outstanding job on the special effects, editing, narration and the drone shots!!! We would love to see more exploring like this. Bravo you two! ~Cara ❤ Wills that was a good one 😂
What a fascinating place, really interesting. Love the mystery of it not being on a map as well. Thanks for sharing, really enjoyed watching - all the very best, David (and Rachel)
Terrific video! What a fascinating site, so much to imagine how it had been during the war. Two thousand people is quite a lot to house in the local area, the locals really were able to keep it secret.
Hello, dearest Rach and Wills! Oh, I absolutely did not know the existence of this place. Truly a very interesting and disturbing historical discovery at the same time. I have always been passionate about the history of the second world war and this adds another chapter to my knowledge. Definitely a place that, in a certain sense, gives you the shivers... But this too must be faced and discovered, because history teaches, or should teach something. But we know that in reality it is not like this. Guys, your exhaustive and engaging story together with the images that you showed us of this place so large and so full of meaning, touched me a lot. Thank you for showing this site. I hug you tightly, I leave you my like as always and I wish you a wonderful week. Renata
Thank you so much for watching Renata. It's quite a vast site and we had no idea it was there until a few years back. We hope it's retained as it is. We both are fascinated by WW2 as well. It was such an awful time in our history. Thank you as always for your kind words. Much love 🍻
Thank you. We didn't script!! I just popped down some facts and tried to remember them for camera. Wills did his bits - wills did an edit and then I scripted it!! It kinda worked out though! We're glad you enjoyed it. Cheers 🍻
Man, that's fascinating. We'll come with you next time we're in your neck of the woods, team leaders! What a production that would have been. Well done you for still doing dry (damp) January. That's been a nooooo for us! 😂 N&Nx
I'm not sure that I'm overly qualified after just reading a leaflet, but I'll Give it a go! You guys have plenty to celebrate with the new MH - you should be breaking open the bubbly!! Cheers 🍻
Cheers mate. Am I making this up, or did you tell me once that you and I can't remember who else went there one night and a bunch of soldiers came out of the ground???
Great video. Have you considered doing one at the Gladstone residential library in Hawarden? It looks great and I'm planning to visit it and stay overnight.
Cheers mate. I've just found an old VHS with about 2 mins worth of clips from one of the sessions we did in Manchester - 1996 according to the time stamp, crikey!!!. The tape struggled to play and has lines over it, but I've just ripped it to my computer if you want to see it. It's mostly you recording vocals.
The guy on the gate said people mainly go in for their kids to ride bikes as it's flat and has good paths! I'd say we saw 2 families and that was it! Cheers 🍻

Thanks guys. Yep definitely a different one for us, but we enjoyed making it and can't believe it's literally just down the road! Cheers 🍻

It's massive isn't it! Cheers 🍻
Great sharing my friend 💙💙💙
Thank you so much 🍻
This was a surprising video. I don't know how you even found this super secret place!!
If it wasn't for Wills's work, we probably wouldn't have!!
Interesting, and always informative. 😊
Thank you so much 🍻
Awesome video! Such history and obviously you had to script it out before filming it. Great job!
Thank you. We didn't script!! I just popped down some facts and tried to remember them for camera. Wills did his bits - wills did an edit and then I scripted it!! It kinda worked out though! We're glad you enjoyed it. Cheers 🍻
@ Wow, that’s super impressive. BTW, just love the name of your channel

Always like when locals can even be surprised. Although 'the tone' was different it was still a recognizable in as your styke.
Thank you so much. This was such a surprise and the locals at the time must have kept the secret so well!! Cheers for watching 🍻
Great vid, I loved seeing it.
Cheers mate. Am I making this up, or did you tell me once that you and I can't remember who else went there one night and a bunch of soldiers came out of the ground???
@PostcardAndAPint that rings a bell, not sure who it was, maybe Paul Jones
Good thing those drones are built so tough! We have put ours through quite a few crashes as well😮
I left him alone for 15 mins!! I usually spot the drone, but not this day!
Cheers for watching 🍻
Very nformative video. 👌👌✔✔👍👍
Thank you so much for watching 🍻
Loved this. I have three or four more venues like this to suggest if you want them!
Oo yes please!!! We loved exploring this one. Cheers for watching 🍻
I love this type of stuff
This is honestly about 10 mins from our house and we had no idea!
That looks amazing and I must have driven almost psst it so many times without knowing it's there! 😮 Warm wishes from Millionaire Paul 👋 Full watch!
Same as you! We've driven past so many times! Cheers for watching 🍻
Yes! Keep doing stuff like this :)

@@PostcardAndAPint it looks great inside from the You Tube videos I've seen.
Very interesting and enjoyable, 😊.
Like deployed 👍

@ give me a few mins to upload it and I’ll email you a link x
@ just emailed you x
@PostcardAndAPint got it, thanks, 🫂
That place is amazing! Did you have it all to yourselves? You know me, that's right up my street history wise. How do you arrange to visit?
The guy on the gate said people mainly go in for their kids to ride bikes as it's flat and has good paths! I'd say we saw 2 families and that was it! Cheers 🍻
Pretty cool guys
Cheers Ken 🍻
Wait what this is so cool…It makes sense that you are both leaders now!
It’s so historical but so spooky…until the clothing store 😅
The diverted river is a pretty cool aspect
This is so interesting…sorry about your drone though
Thanks so much for watching! It survived! 🍻
It is isn't it. Cheers 🍻
Wills you're an Explorer! You've come over to the dark side
He now thinks he's a full on Urban Explorer after this one! Cheers for watching 🍻
