No matter how perfect, how bright, how sheltered, how guarded, and how loved, acceptance is a myth. Deep inside, every pony feels rejected by the constancy differences but cannot show it out of shame. It has claimed many hearts, and through Sol's ignorant bliss it will continue forever. Because this is her paradise, and it must never change.
Oh! This is wonderful. I'm talking no only the art you put but the music you created. Yes, without the clip, this track is excellent. That would have ruined the mood. Very beautiful.
Integrity's a rare thing in music. Props for doing what you believe in not and not conforming to a carbon copy of what it "should be". This is a great composition and I'm glad you didn't cheapen it with samples. Cheers :)
honestly I can't tell you how many songs I've come across that were amazing, but then had really annoying pony sound clips thrown in at the last minute. there are songs where it really fits, and then there are songs where it just gets in the way, and the latter is more common. props to you good sir for recognizing that for something to be pony it doesn't need to include gratuitous amounts of it.
I've been asking the same thing. There was a web radio show that "only played sample music" which was basically chiptunes and vocaloid-- but also played other stuff at the host's discretion. I got into a fight in the chat because nobody could clearly tell me what qualified as sample music...
Your music is always so inspiring. I stand by the fact that music can tell more stories then words could ever hope to. This was a beautiful piece, and a beautiful picture to boot. Whoever made that is really gifted, just like you are. This song is now one of my favorites.
I listen and appreciate art and music for years in relation to mlp, but only now I find it? I call hex! That song is so amazing! So feelings, the picture, the music itself, every tone hits perfectly in my opinion. I love it. I love your compositions in general (I listened to a few songs now and I loved all of them). Subbed.
Just LMMS; 6 instruments were used in this song. I think the only special effect I used this time was freeverb, which is a different reverberation effect than I usually use, but it really worked to sort of blend the notes to make it less choppy.
Beautiful! I think this is your best piece so far. I like the rise and fall. Some of your early work exhausted me--EVERY note hit with such force, and I enjoyed it, but it wore me out. Kudos.
Liked, subscribed, and gj on getting on EQD! I had only heard your 'reliving the nightmare' before, and it's been one of my favorite songs since, but now it has a competitor... This has also driven me to go and download all of your other songs ^.^
No worries :P A sample in regard to production is an audio file rather then a midi file used for whatever effect desired. In this case I was referring to vocal samples so like bits of dialogue but sound samples exist as well. Ex: /watch?v=sxpVHKr7Oso :P
Ahh, I see. So umm, is it sample music if I play a small piece of music with my guitar and copypaste it, so that the same piece forms a riff or a rhythm there? Of course I'd add more to it but this is just an example.
There's nothing wrong with using samples in music by the way. I don't mean to hate on samples; i love them! Just for this mix not using vocal cuts was a good choice. Think of a sample in a conventional sense as audio files that are pulled from other works for example: Rchetype's use of Portal samples here: /watch?v=ZlEmaRDaOU0 As for your question though I'm stumped XD. When I use nonstandard objects to create percussion noises I think of them as samples so maybe?
This is so beautiful... But something has plagued me since I first read the description. Who is the 'her' in 'Things just won't be the same without her.'? I feel I should know, but I'm not sure...
PM me if you have any more production questions or I was unclear. Love to help but i feel bad for spamming up Radiarc's nice comment section with my long posts :P

No words can express how amazingly beautiful this song is.
I shed a tear because of the beauty that filled my ears.
I love what you said in the description!! Don't sell out!

Criminally underrated tbh

Im crying!...why am i crying. this song. just wow.
This is most excellent. It's haunting and dark, and takes no joy in its own beauty.
You really do a good job of stirring up the beginnings a story with your music. I don't know exactly how, but not a lot of people can do that.
Guh. Guh. This is beautiful.
this sounds like something you'd play while roaming a shattered society. a mere shell of a civilization's former greatness
Once again, the great creativity of this fandom keeps surprising me.
This is a genius piece, it truely is.

Perfect for funeral music, it's very good and sad.
Reminds me of Oblivion's style of instrumental music.
You got Equestria Daily! :D
also, this is beautiful. Your music always has a lot of emotion in it :D
Gave me goose bumps dude.

It's in the description now.
Excellent! I thoroughly enjoyed this.
Are you some kind of Magical alien musician, or just a musical genius? Either way these songs are masterpieces! (:D
what does it take to make something so beautiful?
This is brilliant, man. May I ask what programs were used to create this?
you never stop making good music
... I could imagine this playing in a film adaptation of Past Sins, which I recently read.
Ahh, I see. So umm, is it sample music if I play a small piece of music with my guitar and copypaste it, so that the same piece forms a riff or a rhythm there? Of course I'd add more to it but this is just an example.
excellent work, download link?
That song triggered me into an angel
why i can only give you one thumb up, you deserve moar
Or Despair in Canterlot.
Things just won't be the same without her twilight sparkle or celestia
I'm so poor with the terms, could you demonstrate me some music made from samples?

This is so beautiful...

Likely Celestia.

The dislike is from Discord.
