How can I get the instructions for making this block??? I need to know how wide to make the strips to make the log cabin block .... can anyone tell me this ???
Yes, I just bought the mini with the new book, don't have the larger ruler...it would most likely have to be a smaller block to work though...probably too small.

What size is the white square before you cut it into 2 triangles? 8 1/2" or 9"?

what size is the block before you square it up to 8½"
from what I can figure out, the block is 9½" before she squared it up to 8½" (so cut your strip at 2" wide) and the white background block is 8"

Can this possibly be done with th QCR mini?
Marjorie Henwood there are patterns for the mini but this is not of them. You may be able to adapt it.
