Fraisthorpe wind farm is a 29.7 MW capacity wind farm situated in the East Riding of Yorkshire, the site is just 2 miles (3.2 km) south of Bridlington and 40 miles (64 km) east of York, England.
The site consists of nine 3.3 MW wind turbines that produce a collective 29.7 MW of power. The wind farm provides enough electricity to power over 22,500 homes and stops over 48,000 tonnes (53,000 tons) of carbon dioxide gas from entering the environment.

i was in Bridlington to purchase a vehicle.. about 2004.. I remember open flat country.. modern windmills as a feature of the countryside is progress as far as I am concerned.. windmills have always been a part of Yorkshire.. nice take!!

SO this is the wind farm we can see when we are at Dane's Dyke, from across the bay? (ah, it's too hazy to see from my Dane's Dyke video!)

Mickey.. can you have a look into this.. Im sure plans .. site location.. what is there presently.. road infrastructure as it stands and after the development.. landscape etc would be available .. would be a wonderful historical record in time to come.. including the series of videos with residents with yorkshire voices.. which I miss..etc "A 122-home development with homes for the elderly, its own restaurant and hair salon could be coming to Bridlington under new plans. Plans lodged with East Riding Council showed the housing complex, off Pinfold Lane in the north of the town, would feature 54 affordable homes and 68 care apartments."
Yes, I will look into the proposed development. Not sure what plot they are looking at but I know the area well. There are currently a lot of industrial units around Pinfold Lane.
@@rsmickeymooproductions4877 thanks for that. council offices planning department will keep all proposed and passed plans.. It would be interseting to see the industrial estate (aerial).. before and during dismemberment.. ground prep.. sewage lines .. road infrastruture cominmg up.. using photographs videos and drone footage.. this will keep you busy for a year at least + you could sell the videos privately to house purchasers.. estate agent royalty
