In "How to with Eggman" is hilarious because sometimes he gets the voices mixed and before you know it the entire cast is talking to each other

It would've been true if Tails hadn't been spending the entire season kicking Sonic while he was already down so to speak.

Man the entire season is just Tails being a rich jerk as a way of revenge on Sonic for being treated like dirt for most of his life. While simultaneously showing Sonic trying to find a way to get back at Tails for being treated in the same way he treated Tails, except the fox took it *too* far.
Both are total dickwads. Tails is just as bad as sonic and didn’t wanna admit it lol.
In actuallity tails is the biggest ass hole he's a very fake person through out the series
Example giving sonic that Dreamcast stock tip and losing all his money
Another example tails texting bad things about sonic in one episode
In other words, Tails basically justified Sonic’s mistreatment of him 10fold.
Sonic: “The days of me being a heartless asshole are over”
Tails: _I'm about to end this Hedgehogs whole career_
And then it transitioned to:
Sonic: *"Alright, screw trying to be an honest and upstanding guy, I'm about to end this fox's entire career."*

It’s definitely a nice touch. My favorite was their version of Song 2 by Blur. It makes sense since pretty much everything in this world is 16-bit (with a few exceptions such as Kid Icarus being 8-bit). Really makes me feel like this is a video game universe

Sadly this may be my least favorite season. It has a lot of good moments, but Tails has one of my least favorite types of personality any living being can have. Smug, rich asshole douchebag strikes a very specific, RAGE inducing nerve in my body. At the very least Season 5 starts with Tails getting punched so that's fun.
To me season 5 makes this season worth it just to see Tails getting shit on so badly
