Folsom Lake Symphony - "Swept Away" Encore Performance with Pianist Jon Nakamatsu

Join us on Saturday, March 20 at 7:00 p.m. PDT for the special encore performance and free UA-cam Premiere presentation of our "Swept Away" concert. Experience the thrill of our last live concert (performed in February 2020), featuring Smetana's The Moldau, Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 and Gershwin's An American in Paris. Van Cliburn Gold Medalist Jon Nakamatsu is our piano soloist. Maestro Peter Jaffe and Jon Nakamatsu have added special introductions to the virtual concert and the Maestro will participate in the live chat during the UA-cam Premiere.

Thoroughly enjoyed the program! The Moldau brought back happy memories. Jon Nakamatsu and the FLSO did Tchaikovsky proud! The Entertainer as encore for Jon was fun! Hadn’t previously listened to the Gershwin, but enjoyed that as well. Truly made me miss performing on stage... Wonderful work!
