he was so self confident about his 1 v 2 and get too excited that he forgot about it.

As a heavy Taric support player, i may have to try this out. I love the idea of taking my favorite champion into another lane, especially as I often lock in -fill- and do on occasion play top.
To be fair, when Sion died, you lost vision on him, that momentary loss of vision can easily cause someone to forget about things if they aren't explicitly focused on that one thing. Happens to me all the time.

I found jungle predator garen to be really fun and actually decent. Dark harvest works too, but the predator works amazingly with his Q leading into the execute
At an early level (4 or 5), you should be putting a second point in Q. After casting a spell you get 2 empowered autos and those 2 autos will each give a stack of your Q if you have 2 points in it.
tank shaco top: rush sunfire cape, then a zhonya's or banshee's, 2 more tank items of your choice, and a death cap to finish it off. the idea is to get 45% cdr and split push. with tankiness and full cdr killing you is almost impossible and takes a long time at least. Electrocute probably works best for the laning phase, and inspiration 2nd for the extra cdr.
Phase Rush Tahm Kench with Swiftness Boots. Allows you to gobble an enemy and still move at normal movement speed so you can run them under tower.
i feel bad for my low elo brothers undoubtedly getting left under piles of salt in the wake of tilt

I actually am a top lane taric main and since he has a very weak chase, my runes often include glacial augment for my keystone and approach velocity. This helps a lot

I did that with the old Taric and the new one. Its hard at the beginning but later and later its someway 2 easy and u have most of the time (if not constant ganked) a good push for yourself
I got two ideas. Lethal Tempo Gnar with Wits end and Nashors. Works cos of the passive on his on his W. 14% of target's maximum health + 100% AP ratio.
Or Double Tear Ezreal. Both tear of the goddess items on Ez. Mixed damage, and a lot of it.

Taric main top here. Build grasp in your resolve tree, then sorcery into your secondary. Build cooldown to AP and either ult cooldown or scaling AP.
Why? Bonus HP and AP buff Your heal and your E is AP armor.
Build frozen gauntlet, heart, righteous glory, spirit visage, abyssal mask and boots.
That’s 80-100 AP plus grasp health plus armor means everyone becomes ezreal bottom now.

I used to play a lot taric top/mid with aftershock. First item ardent censer (arndent censer attack speed + passive attack speed + perma Q = op af, also mana regen, etc. and ur healings/shields too so worth it) and second item a sheen one depending on the situation.
Might be a little late but did you try tear for the mana issues? I usually go tear into trin for the cdr then dead man plate for the ms and whatever resistances are needed. Did you try other builds as well?

Guys always take as the second runes precision and presence of the mind it helps a lot with his laning phase and late game team fights also if you want play him top you should build ice born gauntlet and spirit visage you can also build as 4th or 5th item unholy grail it has a big synergy with taric's pasiv also you can build abysal mask for sustein because taric i mana hungry
I swear this guy and I play literally the same picks. Sion is my 1st main (200k), taric the 2nd (60k)... I've searched for a youtuber like him for so long.

What about Taric with Klepto into a tank top lane? You could maybe do the 2 minute Tear build and get massive value, or just go with a normal build
How about Vlad with Frost Queen's Claim and Phase Rush? FQC gives you the movespeed at the beginning of the fight and lets you proc phase rush easily.

Do Heimerdinger jungle. His clear is slow but very safe and he has a stun for engage and a ton of pushing power to help your lanes take turrets early.

No idea if you'll actually read this comment, or if it's too late to matter, but your skill order is absolutely wrong for Taric. Both Top and Support Taric have a skill priority of R>Q>E>W. Q scales exceptionally well with further levels, W scales terribly. Top lane Taric should also pick up Rod of Ages in almost all games, as the Eternity passive coupled with 500 health and 100 AP (which is a big deal since your Q has a 20% AP ratio per stack) means a tremendously large amount of healing, in addition to solving Taric's mana sustain issue.
Grasp of the Undying is the best Keystone, and Revitalize and Presence of Mind (Precision tree) are virtually mandatory. Presence of Mind is [the best] rune Taric has access to, it's worth more than any Keystone to Taric.
Once told my friend to play taric top. It was meant as a joke, but he ended up dominating the enitre enemy team. It's one of his common picks now.

For advise you can build: Lich Bane, Rabbadon ,3 item depends on situtions like enemy team or your team or your style some times i prefer guinso and nashor and hextech its mean ap attack speed .But if you build full ap you can one shot with your q and good healing scale.
If Taric has problems keeping close to people maybe you should've tried Glacial Augment (from inspiration)?

Hey poeples ! Dear Tilterella, you recommand if we play Taric Top, to play with Aftershock or Grasp of the Undying. But when looking at how much Spell -> AA this gameplay is based on, wouldn't Kelptomancy (against melees only of course) come out as the best Keystone possible ?
without grasp or aftershock you'll lose trades to most top laners
I actually played it today and thought it was legit and not really bad at all. I bought iceborn, Spirit visage, randuins against almost full Ad team. I personally thought of a full tank build but i think titanic hydra, steraks etc. would work, too.

Play either ap rammus jg with electrecute or garen mid with stormraiders/electrocute and trancendence (triforce, duskblade, BC, yomuus ghost blade and DD/IE )
Both are really fun (tried garen mid in my games and countered assasins really easly)

Emidaeous have you tried presence of mind? I’ve found that really abusable in lane as support or top. You can heal a 1/3rd of your health without items for 0 mana cost every level if you have a wave to hit. Just a tip
