No but I’m taking part in my Running Groups ‘virtual tour around the country ‘race series. Next stop 8.5km in ‘Liverpool lime street to Aintree Race Course’. 100k in a month :)

I love the Running Channel. You guys make me laugh and it's so much fun what they made you do for the 2.6. Thanks for making us all smile in this strange time.
@@runningchannel there are tips and tricks to make maths easier.. especially when under pressure.. just an example: 10000 divided by 400 is equal to 100 divided by 4 (remove the equal amount of trailing zeros when dividing), which in itself is much simpler.. or (while not in the challenge it might be useful at one point) if anything needs to be divided by 5, just multiply it by 2 and then divide it by 10 (just move the comma), which is much easier than trying to actually divide by 5 in most cases.

Question for the running channel or anybody else reading... I'm attempting my first 100 miler this year. There are 2 near me. One starts at 6 am, and the other at 4pm. The rest of the race is similar. Has anybody done an ultra that starts later in the day? If so did you find it more difficult or easier? Thanks.
Wow! What an awesome race to take part in. I'm yet to do my first 100 miler, but have done a few ultras - some starting VERY early, others usual race morning start and one that started at midday. Personally I am happy running at any time of the day and when you're going that far I guess it all comes down to personal preference. Are you a morning person? Will you find it easy to get going at 6am? Will you be anxiously waiting if you start later in the day? Have a think about your current runs and how you feel running at different times of day. And hopefully some of the Running Channel community can help you out too. Good luck! Anna

@@runningchannel Kind of, but Sokka is way smarter than Joey, but he is the comic relief. You can't tell me you guys haven't seen Avatar the Last Airbender the series? I'd put Andy as the avatar, Anna as Toph and Kate as Katara.
Shouldn’t there some type of punishment for Anna for failing the challenge? Or maybe a reward for everyone who completed it? What’s the point of doing a challenge without a punishment or reward?
The Running Channel I feel like you can fulfill both, reward those who complete the challenge and raise money for charity at the same time. Kill 2 birds with 1 stone so to speak.
Tim Jacobsen Maybe a punishment for Rick for having the easy challenge, and a reward for Anna for having the toughest challenge, But that's not the purspose of doing this, it's to raise awareness of the Twopointsixchallenge for UK Charities like The Running Channel states.

But have to be honest, have to one of my pet hates, is a unfair challenge, don't like it.
Why not, then just like myself do this challenge by maths/whoever teacher.
I ran (in other races) for guide dogs.
Comming back to this video now, is that Sarah giving instructions and sayinf challenged failed ect? If not sounds very similar
😂😂😂
I would've never left the house if math was my challenge. My brain does not understand math at all haha
Hahah!
Is it too late to offer tutoring for your maths? Im a maths teacher ;)
Hi you The Running Channel
Thanks for your reply back,
Using maths, because I (The Running Channel) being a maths teacher like to use maths, (without sounding rude to Anna) I wouldn't suspect her to be as good as me at maths.
It took me over 8 minutes to complete it, I'm now being kind to The Running Channel when I say 18 minutes for the running of 2.6 miles (for Anna)
Because a, it took me over 8 minutes, B, that's without getting the answer confirmed, C, that's without getting my running gear on, D, that's without myself getting out of the door.
And e, I wouldn't suspect Anna to get this very tough maths challenge that so quick.
Being very very kind when saying 18 minutes for Anna to run 2.6 miles.
As runners, as runners keen, we all know seconds add up,
18 minutes for 2.6 miles in just under 14 kmh, which works out for 5km 21:30 minutes just under 14kmh (for the 5km)
Anna I don't know what's your PB for 5km, I don't know, if Anna your PB is no where near 21:30 for 5km then it as a impossible challenge for you, Anna.
So Anna you shouldn't feel so bad about it because it was a impossible challenge for you to complete, not enough time (by whoever set it up)
12 minutes for 2.6 miles works out at just under 21kmh, meaning a 14:20 for 5km is needed for just under 21kmh. A impossible challenge for Anna.
And I still can't believe how easy Rick had it, not giving Rick another challenge.
The Running Channel would like to see another 2.6 challenge this time Rick being given impossible challenge for it and Anna just to run it.
Nothing is impossible!! These challenges were just a bit of fun, and more about spreading the message to fundraise for charities that will be missing out this year! We will bear this in mind when setting challenges for Anna vs Rick round 3 though! Thank you!
I would have about 2.6 seconds to do the challenge at my min/mile pace.
Hopefully you're quicker than Rick at getting out the door!
That was fun. I thought the video was going to be 26 minutes also.
Ah we missed a trick there!
Could you make a video about vegan runners with food advice?
Thank you for the video suggestion!
Was Rick in charge of this???
He knows maths are Anna's kryptonite.
Haha Rick did not come up with the master plan - we all know Anna is bad at maths!
Hi you Running Channel
If it was Rick who was in charge of these challenges etc etc, who was it?
Thumbs up for Rick singing Caution.
Yess!
I need Anna's watch. Do you have a link you could share?
Anna runs with the Garmin Fenix 6S www.garmin.com/en-GB/p/641530
How fast can each of you run a 5k with a 20lb weighted Vest.
Yes done the 2.6 challenge and done 26.2 hours on spin bike spinning 682km .
Nice one!
Have fun.
Thanks!
Very funny challenge, but a little unfair 🤔😁
Glad you enjoyed it!
Can you make more videos a week and vids like this
Thanks for the feedback! We love creating challenge videos!
Does anyone else feel like Rick is the Sokka of this group, haha.
Is this like being the Joey?
@@runningchannel Kind of, but Sokka is way smarter than Joey, but he is the comic relief. You can't tell me you guys haven't seen Avatar the Last Airbender the series? I'd put Andy as the avatar, Anna as Toph and Kate as Katara.
Challenge to run backwards for 100m...most funniest/fall downs/roll overs wins!!
I tried to run 2.6 miles unaided. No Garmin didn't look at my phone. Ran a new route and stopped when I thought I was at 2.6 turned out to be 3.
Close enough! Good job though!
HAHAHA the last one 😂
I know right 😂
@@runningchannel the look on Rick's face and how he complained for the first 10 minutes of his run? dying 😂
Great job guys! But what are you doing Andy, you need to work on form!
Cheers mate! Was too focused on getting them done quickly, not bad for time pressure!
Go Anna!
Woo! Thanks!
Is it still reliable since...you know what...
Did Rick complete the challenge? Pretty sure he did right? There was no 'challenge complete' message? Or I missed it?
Rick completed his challenge at 13:57 - You must have missed his speedy running haha!
@@runningchannel D'oh! I see that now. I think I skipped forward a bit when I heard him singing lol :)
I was in the video 4:37
Thanks for your help with the challenge!
Anna, you should have just ran 2.6 kilometers so you would still do 2.6 something 😁
Haha yes that would have been a good solution!
The Running Channel Next time. No worries, can’t wait for the next video😉 and thank you so much for replying!
Can I donate towards some maths lessons for Anna?
Who's Hannah? 🤔
Oops, apologies! Now corrected :)
Maybe I'll spend my money on some spelling lessons for myself instead
Shouldn’t there some type of punishment for Anna for failing the challenge? Or maybe a reward for everyone who completed it? What’s the point of doing a challenge without a punishment or reward?
The challenge isn't about winning or losing, it's to spread awareness of the #TwoPointSixChallenge to help raise money for UK charities!
The Running Channel I feel like you can fulfill both, reward those who complete the challenge and raise money for charity at the same time. Kill 2 birds with 1 stone so to speak.
Tim Jacobsen
Maybe a punishment for Rick for having the easy challenge, and a reward for Anna for having the toughest challenge,
But that's not the purspose of doing this, it's to raise awareness of the Twopointsixchallenge for UK Charities like The Running Channel states.
Oliver Wood I know it wasn’t the main purpose. I’ve stated that already.
