I can’t even imagine your life right now! You have just given your all to this business and figured out a way to say yes to the things that give you life and you continue to keep curating with that process and your viewers, are getting such a beautiful glimpse of who you are inside! I can’t thank you enough as a reseller, I have learned so much from you, I’ve been so inspired by you, and you don’t know it yet, but we’re really good friends ;-).
So happy for you that all the years of hard work and dedication are paying off for you and that you’re able to combine travel and thrifting with your group trips. You have earned this success! As always, I love your channel and your videos! Can’t wait to see more travel vlogs! 😊
Thank you so much!! I’m so grateful for the support and encouragement! It’s been the most wonderful few years after some hard ones. This community is just the absolute best! 😁 So many more vlogs to come! ❤️
Laura, loved your Canton videos. Next time you do Canton take one or two days to go to Ft Worth. If you’re with friends plan to eat at Joe T Garcia’s. It’s all outdoors with fountains. You’ll feel like you’re in Mexico. It’s an entire city block and absolutely beautiful. Check out the daily cattle drive in the Stock Yards. The museums in Ft Worth are amazing. The Cowgirl Museum can’t be missed. I live in Richardson a suburb just north of Dallas. There’s nothing in Dallas that’s unique. I’d love to go to Canton this year but am limited as I use a wheelchair. Maybe sometime it will happen. Love you and Jesse’s videos. Looking forward to your summer videos working on little Italy.
Hey Jan, alot of the grounds in Canton are Wheelchair accessible in addition if you have a scooter you can ride it around or even rent one. Alot of people ride scooters because it is is so large.
I collected Bakelite for many years and sold off a lot of the collection. I still have many sets of Bakelite salt and pepper shakers, some radios, bangles, and more of it I kept but will sell in the future. It's such a great material and very addictive to own. Love the corn cob holders!
Your styling is second to none. Love watching your thrifting because you explain things so well, I always learn something even though It’s not my style. Your trips look amazing. Keep it up Laura! ❤Alice🇨🇦
Find a fabric you love and wrap it around the pot of the wall pocket planter you don’t fully love, then put a plant in it. Easy way to change the look but not permanently.
For the wall planter, I know you're setting the flowerpot aside for now. What if you cut a small piece of wood and made a shelf where the pot was? Like a half-circle of wood, maybe it would need a couple of notches to slide down into the "crown" area (but it would sit on top of that flowerpot base. Then you'd have a tiny shelf to hold additional items that might need to be stowed when walking in the door.
What great finds! The jewelry haul alone is amazing. The bunny ring with the green and white stone is a treasure. The silver ring with the striped stone looks like rainbow calsilica.
Thought I would share... the vase at 3:45 is California Originals, no Haeger Pottery. And the Fire King Tulip bowls were made in the 1940's, not the 60's & 70's.
This was THE BEST video of the two of you together!! I think you (as in both of you as a couple) are just meant to be!! You both are happy, fun, loving, supportive and so kind to each other…and can ever be playful and a bit ornery and just laugh and laugh! I’m so happy you have each other in this wild ride we call life!! I’m always a bit jealous of all the beautiful things you can find in the PNW…it’s absolutely not the same here in central Indiana. We do not have the artists that you do! Your pottery is always so beautiful! Thanks for sharing today!! 🥰💕🎶🥳
Love your trips you share with us! Excellent picks, excellent filming and wonderful friends! What a beautiful business and life you have created! Thank you for taking us along!
You should see the flea market in Canton MS. It has vendors that come from everywhere with their handmade crafts and other stuff to sell. Lots of food and fun. Try their famous food cart funnel cake. Old time late 1800's downtown square brings the nostalgia to this small town. Hotels are nearby in suburb of Madison, MS. If I remember correctly, it is every October. There is one in May there also annually, but it is much smaller.
I’ll keep the planter safe and sound! When I’m ready to let it go, I’ll sell it together 👍 Soooo much of that stuff that doesn’t sell at these markets ends up in the landfills. I’ll take good care of her 😜
It’s been so wonderful watching your journey over the years!! All the thrift finds, traveling trips and fabulous finds near and far! Just wanted to send you a little hello and thank you for sharing your journey! And a congratulations of all you have accomplished, and your continued knowledge and insight ✨ looking forward to “little Italy” and all the local thrifting you will find coming up!
I started watching your videos during the pandemic and I am now addicted!!! Your willingness to share information and just be such a kind and giving person is inspirational. Not sure I will ever get to go on one of your trips, but if you get to Pennsylvania to thrift and flea I will be there. Keep going because you are doing great!
I am from Dallas and have yet to make it out to Canton, but outside of that I love that you as a reseller have taken the time to really teach up Noobs or New Comers to the world of Thrifting in 2K, I used to do it with my daughters but now that I am alone, I don't tend to go out much, but with your vid's I am getting the fever so bad and you have taught me so much. Thank you Laura You will be blessed casue ya know, you have blessed us. Yee Hawww Debbie P. from Dallas Texas
Jeep Collin’s mother was Enid Collins of Collins of Texas. You have probably seen her bejeweled Collins bag purses at flea markets. I had two of them in the sixties.
Young lady (Emily), I love your UA-cam channel and sharing your content. You are definitely doing what is best for your mental health, emotional health, and physical health. That's what matters the most. My thoughts and prayers are being directed for healthy healing. So keep your videos coming. Take care and be safe out there. Martie W. From Florida
Please do not use the wall pocket as a key holder. You will find it most impractical for this use. Keys are best hung from hooks, not fed down and up the long poky bits on this object. It would look best with a plant in it as is the intended use.enjoyed your video imensly as always.thank you from Doris in Australia
I just finished watching the Texas videos. It looks like you guys had a great time! I am excited to see what’s coming as the summer progresses. Will semi patiently wait for the release of your Japan trip. (I swear you are the heir to Rick Steves, but with your own spin on travel hosting, guiding, shopping, and video producing). Good luck and best wishes from another Oregon native - transplanted in Oklahoma. 🙏💚
I love watching you, Laura! I laughed when you said, “I’m definitely starting this over because I went inside and took a peek, and I definitely need a cart!” Lol! 😂 I LOVE your idea of keeping your keys 🔑 on that brass wall pocket! What an excellent way to repurpose! You could easily hang sunglasses on it. Then, you could get a stronger brass hook for your purse (2, if you have a light grocery shopping bag that looks artistic (a museum one with art on it, for example)! I’m all about making things functional, as well as pretty! If Jesse happens to carry a man-purse, you might need to add another hook for him, lol! 😂 Last comment from me: WOW, I absolutely love those David Salk pieces!
Hello, make sure you come the first weekend in October to Las Vegas. Go to Boulder City, Nv (1/2 hour drive). Boulder City has so many Antique/thrift shops plus this is also the weekend of Art in the Park (a craft/antique/art festival for free). This little town comes alive with festivities, people and thrifting. It’s a wonderful weekend. Bring a van to transport your new treasures!
I am so glad you visited the sweet group of ladies with jewelry just inside the Civic Center. They are some of the nicest women, although my husband likes to give them a hard time just for the fun of it.
The set of letter holder and boxes are made of Thuya wood, a loto f thuya wood items are made in marroco. I have some beautiful pieces, such a beautiful wood ❤️
So my husband’s family started the Friendship Flea Market in Friendship Indiana its in June & September for 57 years now, anyway back in June the show was going on & I was in my camper getting ready for the day to open the field office and this video was playing. All of a sudden I hear a familiar voice and go to investigate & it’s Barb! She was talking about Gary Edwards! He lives at our campground every summer from like May to October. I had to tell him that he is famous on UA-cam & he just loved it and got a big laugh out of it.
When you bought the brass planter, I wasn't seeing the vision so I didn't love it but OMG the key holder is brilliant and suddenly it's such a feature decor item. Brilliant!
I love George! Met him recently at The Lander Street Market in Seattle at one of his appraisal fairs!! I had a turquoise and a malachite rings that he appraised… also a gallery poster of a showing for R. C. Gorman… He is as kind as I expected! Are you coming to the Thriftpalooza in Puyallup?? One day I will join you on one of your trips!! You & Jesse rock!!! 🩵🩵🩵

I like the key idea or even a ring holder in the bedroom. Love the Carnelian earrings. I have Egyptian Revival earrings that would match your necklace with black stone.
I love side tilt toasters. Brings back memories of my holidays with friends and family...and burning toast because you forget to watch it. FUN times! Also, we had the kettle with elements. Plenty of us forgot to watch the water level LOL.
So glad you came back to Texas! Canton is a Texas treasure! I’ve been going to Canton since I was a little girl! Great find on the Jeep Collins jewelry! I’ve not seen that piece before! I have several pieces of his jewelry…. My favorite piece is an Angel with a cowboy hat and boots!
East Fork Mall is one of my go-to places for stocking my booth! Love that you were there. The owner of booth that was 80% off passed away, so they are selling his items off for family.
you can adjust your liz taylor earrings so the clip on piece isnt so tight. just need a pair of pliers. If you alter them they'll lose some of their value.
Learned so much about chatting and learning from awesome vendors by watching you in action ~ and so fun to connect with other travelers who love what we love - love the lion earring combination to go with the tagliomonte So perfect! And key holder/sunnies would be so cool 👍🏻💋💋
Oh, how I have looked forward to Cant’n (East Tx pronunciation here) Part 2!! I even saved it till last YT videos tonight to watch. I am so hooked on everything you produce, and I am not exactly proud to admit that when I shop nowadays I say, “Hmmmm, what would Laura do?” Loved every single item! Fave: Bunny ring! Love from Tree in Texas ❤🇨🇱💙
While looking for the same napkin rings as you found . I found out they are Michael Michaud’s ‘Ginkgo Napkin Rings’ comes in a set of 4. They are cast pewter with a special hand relieved finish. They cheapest I could find was $95 so I think you got a good deal 😀
I’d love to see what is on your wish list!! I’m on the East coast and love watching your videos because things you have are so much different then what we have but sometimes I run across something and know what it is because of you!
you are new toe and now my favorite and my dream is now to go to Canton to start! I love brass, lavender, amethyst, purple murano glass and unicorns! Hugs to you and Jessie! from your new friend from the other coast, a born Maine , and born in the car!!
The key idea for the pocket is great. You could also put bracelets and wire earrings on it. Love the napkin rings. Ginko leaves are my jam, ever since I visited Frank Lloyd Wright's home and studio in Oak park, Illinois. Great video!
I would not meld the sunflower and lion earrings together? I would leave them as separate pieces. Don’t forget you can pack breakable things wrapped in your clothing.
Another great haul vlog Laura. Lovely jewellery. Thanks for providing some insight on your packing tips. They are really useful. Really looking forward to the video on that. Just wanted to ask if you take hard or soft suitcases. 🤔 Can't wait for your upcoming overseas vlogs. 🤗

Hey Laura, I'm guessing that the missing knob on the burl wood set originally matched the knob on the cover of the trinket box.
Find a fabric you love and wrap it around the pot of the wall pocket planter you don’t fully love, then put a plant in it. Easy way to change the look but not permanently.

The purple glass is was not originally purple; it’s clear glass that has been irradiated. Most collectors consider that glass ruined.
Yes, I explain that in a previous video 💜 Also, many collect the purple for its beautiful color after being exposed or the sun.

Keep it as a planter! I feel sad when treasures are lost forever when bits are removed. It made it this long as a planter!
I agree 💯 . I’m a purist UNLESS a piece are missing something then I’ll find a repurpose.

Yes to key chain holder. Brilliant!!!!
